I left an appointment online and came quite a bit of distance to this Impression Bridal. I had noticed they had a sale on sample dressed and wanted to check them out. The store was nice and clean, and the people were friendly. I went to some other places prior and I just hated the "pressure" you felt. Honestly wasn't expecting to get something right away, just look, and see what my options are. I met my stylist Karah and she was super friendly and just really wanted to know my vibe. It just felt like she had my back the whole time. She let us look around and look for things we liked, and she also chose a few options that I thought were very "me" Found two dresses that were amazing and I like how when I had to decide she took my side over my guests side on what I liked. She really worked with me on pricing by staying in my budget and finding amazing finds I had not seen at other places. Even other Impression Bridal locations. She talked to her manager a few times to make sure we all were on the same page. My mom also found a spot where the dress had been modified but the seam wasn't finished. I don't think I could have expected better service than when we visited to select my daughters prom dress....and then revisited to select a different one. Arden and her assistants were beyond patient with us in the first two visits, let alone when my daughter changed her mind and we went a third time and selected her final choice. We appreciated how we all were listened to and how they took our opinions into account when suggesting dresses. The whole staff, from the front desk to everyone in the Prom dress department obviously knew what they were doing and we felt informed every step of the way. They have a wide variety of dresses, at different price points (my budget was 1k and the one I really ended up liking was $975 and it was beautiful and really good material.) Don't waste your time here ! Horrible unprofessional staff & service ! My 1st meeting to finding my wedding dress the staff was kind and after that they started being rude and over charging me for things that don't make sense & they don't explain any charges being made. They book appointments without telling you they will charge you 25 dollars & they don't communicate well to inform you on extra charges ! The manager was fighting me and arguing with me over a 25 dollar charge for me not wanting to pay pay their 500 dollar alteration and wanting to just take my dress home .saying I had to pay 25 dollars when I had pay 2,7000 already for my dress. The manager treated me bad and awful wanting to keep my wedding dress that I had pay for already . The staff was awful & they also got mad & treated me bad for not bringing high heels to my fitting . Overall it's all about money & not customer service ! They are scammers & try to make money on everything & even when they are at fault they don't care they still want money from you! We purchased a very expensive bridal dress for my daughter about a year ago it was fully paid for as we paid in it fir several months, and we were coming down to the count down time for the wedding a couple months ago we ordered gown, the veil, jewelry the headpiece everything from impressions bridal shop Its nice on the inside has a large selection the wait staff were nice and we really thought we found the perfect dress. We thought they ordered it new and that it would fit correctly is they measured my daughter when the dress came in it was way too big. They ordered a smaller size it came in the store in time for the wedding in the last fitting in with my daughter went in for her fitting it still did not fit her almost all or many of the promises that they made for alterations were completely wrong and were not feasible and the alteration rates quotes that they gave us was about $120-$200. No more..., yet the charged $ 850.00 After the final dress came in they were going to order a smaller size but they wanted to remake the entire dress which they said would cost over $850 which I paid reluctantly is the dress was fully paid for and we wanted the dress to fit for the wedding because there's only two months until the wedding was coming. Also I noticed several snags on the dress is if it had been tried on the for my daughter even tried it on herself and I did ask over and over if they're going to fix the snags and help us next got on the dress and they did say they could fix them but no one answered her head a reason why the snags were on the dress. Sadly even with alterations we still had no idea if the dress would fit. So I left a yelp review which I thought was quite nice about the store in the staff however I did complain about the snags on the dress in the outrageous cost of the alterations because I felt like they kept ordering the dress two large just to cause us to pay for alterations. The manager forced me to remove my Yelp review and refused to give my daughter her paid for dress. The manager saw my review and called my daughter and told her she would not be getting her dress anymore and that he was not going to give her her dress and give her a full refund on the dress because he claimed that his corporate office saw the review and that he could no longer do business with us. However the dress was completely paid for entirely it was very expensive and we can pay for the alterations along with the bill in the jewelry everything was paid in full. It's only two months before the wedding and my daughter was just crushed and crying, she didn't have the wedding gown that she's been dreaming of for months because the manager of the store took offense to my truthful yelp review. I was forced to take down the yelp review and then he said he would give my daughter and her dress that I was not allowed in the store ever again and I could not see my daughter in the dress that I paid for for the final special mother daughter fitting. We all decided never to do business with that store again and we asked for a full refund which the manager reluctantly agreed to and he actually had the nerve to say that he worked really hard on the sale and tried to make us keep the dress even after he told us we could not have the dress. We did finally get our full refund after a couple weeks and we ran to another store to rush buy a dress at the last moment this is very difficult as planning a wedding for a year and the dress was the most important part was gone. This Caused great stress worry to the bride, groom and all of us. My son-in-law worked out a full refund and we finally got the full refund and went to a wonderful place in Angleton called "something blue" they saved the day and even brought gowns via van, to our city for the bride to try on and we found the perfect dress and it was so much more beautiful than the first dress, and less cost dress my daughter than the one we got impressions bridal and it was the couture gown it fit her beautifully and she looked beautiful....looking back we're so glad that we we're not Lord and putting me at first dress is it would've had to be totally remade and we still would not have known if it would fit her correctly. We find the perfect dress at the perfect bridal shop, in Angleton and we will never ever ever go back to impressions bridal because they really were very rude to us over a truthful Yelp review ...after we spent so much time and money and we were so kind to them and the manager was so evil as he Nearly ruined my daughter's wedding And tried to divide me from my daughters final fitting... I think because he knew the alterations would never fit her right. He was just awful and he is the problem with the shop. One lady on Yelp told name she goes there when he is t there. I just want to start off this review by explaining my Long search of finding the perfect wedding dress. It has been 6months of me searching, and after going to more than 15 dress shops in all of the Houston area, there has always been something missing whether it be from the selection or the experience. I decided to set up an appointment 50 minutes away from where I live at Impression Bridal Bay brook Recommended to me by my Maid of Honor, they were having a trunk show by one of my favorite designers and show casing a dress that could possibly be "The One". The day of my appointment As soon as my mother and I walked in we were greeted by every employee in the store and my stylist Grace even made hot coffee for my mother and I while we searched for dresses to try on. In the middle of the store was the specific gown that I saw online by the designer and I was so excited to try it on. Grace was so incredibly sweet and "Real" (after going to several bridal shops u will know exactly what I mean lol) Grace and her assistant asked me several questions about my style, my engagement, proposal, and about me and my fiancé. I was very impressed and it meant so much to me that every little word and detail, they payed attention to. The Manager there often checked up on me and was absolutely Incredible! They added to the beautiful experience and made me feel special and most importantly everyone was just as excited as I was!!! The very last dress I tried on I had very high expectations especially because It had been 6 MONTHS without finding anything and this was the dress I came here for. Well, as soon as the dress slid on my body I had to hold myself back from being emotional or tearing up. I walked out of the room and Right away I knew this was the one and my search was over, without actually saying this out loud, Grace, the manager and all of the Impression Bridal staff realized this as well, and came to see my gown, They made this moment even more amazing, memorable, and special for me. My engagement, relationship with my fiancé, and proposal etc has been a dream and It is so unbelievable that Impression Bridal Baybrook made the experience of "Finding THE dress " a dream as well and matched up to every other perfect moment in my life :') I would absolutely recommend Impression Bridal to anyone who is starting their search for a wedding dress or who has had a hard time finding one. THANK YOU Just for the record, idk what's going on with every other review posted here but many are from years and years ago. And some things are obvious, after going to more than 15 bridal dress shops in the entire Houston area there's quite a few things that I've learned and are actually kind of obvious. If you are serious about your special event and about finding a wedding dress or even bridesmaids dresses you act in a professional manner and do your research, look online and set up an appointment or at least call 30 to 40 minutes ahead of time to see if they will have the flexibility to accept walk in appointments. And it doesn't matter what size or shape you are dresses aren't going to come in "the perfect size to ur body" it WILL have to be altered so yes like I said before if you are serious about your event or even want to have an event be prepared to spend time and money on the dress and alterations or you can move on to the next shop, simple as that. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT buy your dress here or you won't have a dress for your wedding. We are now 10 days out from my wedding, I have missed my bridal portraits date already due to being told my dress would arrive mid April so I scheduled around that. I spoke with Craig (the manager there) who could care less and is rude as hell. I feel i should be compensated for the stress and the fact i did not get to have a bridal portrait session. I only asked to not have to pay for the alterations being 177.xx and thats not even half of what the bridal portraits cost which are non refundable i paid the dress and I gave them them contract as they requested! I have spoken with them at least once a week in April to track it but no one knows anything about tracking there, finally I spoke with Craig the first week of May whom he informed me he went to corporate to discuss the dresses that were late(mine being one of them) and that it was supposed to arrive Thursday May 7th,but I was told I could not come in til May 11th, after being offered an appointment on the Saturday before. Craig's excuses this whole time was he had been hiring and firing people and had bad training that's why i've been lied to over and over again. First lie was dress to arrive mid april around the 15th, Second lie last week of April was dress was to arrive May 1st, third lie May 1st was dress was to arrive May 5th. NOW after going back and forth im being told I was never talked to Craig, he never informed me he went to corporate I was never told all the dates above and that I am a complete liar and that someone called me April 10th to tell me my dress would be here May 8th (never happened), I offered up my phone bills since its not on there and he doesn't have a clue who called me just said "someone did" and it was in the notes in the computer. I would've rate this 5/5 but unfortunately my last visit wasn't a good one. The first visit was amazing, I had so much fun not only with the assistants but with my friends as well. My person was Moriah, super helpful, out of all the dresses I tried on. I found a black dress of my liking but I still wanted to see more of my options. I wanted to see the dress in a tan color but unforuntalely the didn't have it on my size. My mom didn't like the color black especially for prom which I understand. So we decided to see other shops. Moriah went out of her way to text me a sweet message and I told her I was coming back soon. We went to the impression bridal by the galleria although they didn't have a variety option like the Impression Bridal at baybrook I found my dress. It was a white one of a kind dress that I fell in love with but I was a still a bit indecisive since I liked the black one as well. I went back to bay area to try the dress on to show it to my mom in person. Moriah welcomed me back with open arms quickly got the dress for me to fit on to show my mom since it was closing. She preferred the white one because it shaped my body perfectly. So I told Moriah and showed her the dress I was debating on, she suddenly became rude and said it looked like a wedding gown. Just because it's white doesn't mean its a wedding dress she should know especially she works at a bridal shop. At that point I was upset for the way she treated me especially because I wasn't buying her dress anymore. I understand how frustrating it is when a customer is wasting your time but it shouldn't mean you should treat them any different. I had a friend that worked at Impressions who would rant to me how girls are indecisive on what they want especially that you guys work on comission. I went in to the store looking for a wedding dress. I was thinking of just looking to get a good idea of what kind of dress I would see myself walking down the aile and maybe purchasing the gown later because I'm really picky when it comes to making my mind up on purchasing clothes . When I arrived to the store I was asked to complete a standard form with information about myself. I was then told I can look around while my consultant came, so I went around looking at the great selection of dresses they have. I was originally a little intimidated because I wear plus size but it looked like the selection would work for me. I was then greeted by my consultant Laura Dunn she ask me some questions and walked around with me to choose some dresses that she believed would work for me according to what I described. We managed to pick about 4 or 5 which I would try on to start with. The first dress I tried on was amazing! Laura brought a veil to show me how it would look and I loved it but was afraid to commit to it since it was the first one. Laura told me it was no problem I could try on the rest of the dresses and see if they compared to the first dress, she was so patient with me and my friends. She made me feel so confortable I felt like she honestly wanted me to find a dress, she actually cared. She did not rush me out of the store like others would. I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on which I fell in love with and the price was way below what I was willing to spend so that was an added bonus. Laura then brought a little wine for my friends and I to celebrate that I said yes to the dress!! Now I just have to wait for my dress to arrive and I'm super excited!!!!
