I don't get In-N-Out. I tried them when they first came to Utah and didn't think they lived up to the buzz. I decided to give them another try and I still don't get the fascination. The burger was ok, just ok. Thin patty- which is why I guess people get 2x2 and 3x3. Why do we crave In N Out? I don't know about you, but for me it is biting into that freshly grilled, crunchy hot bun and melted cheese on my animal style hamburger or grilled cheese. Yum! If that is what you like too then don't go to this In N Out location. The last 5 times I have gone here in the last 5-6 months (yes I keep giving them second chances) my bun has come out cold and soggy and my cheese is not even melted on my animal style grilled cheese which is all I have ordered the last 5 times. So disappointing when that is all I am craving. Not going back to this location anymore until I hear if they've stepped up their game. Sorry Draper In N Out. This place is like a little piece of home to me. I'm a Cali girl and we LOVE our In N Out. Went in today and, as per usual, it was busy but got our food quickly as always. It was cooked to perfection, as always. And the service was great, as always. I personally love the #2 with grilled and/or regular onions and if I'm feeling wild I sub my drink for a chocolate milkshake. My hubby loves the Neapolitan milk shake! Give it a try ;) The #2 is a cheeseburger with fries. It's the perfect serving size for a woman/ regular old person. For those of you who are male and/or still growing or just have large appetites, try the double double or even the triple decker(3 patties). The fries are sliced and cooked fresh all day everyday- my favorite fries. There is a secret menu you can look up. Try the fries animal style at least once. You can order your burger that way too. (I feel like it's too much but some ppl love it). A lot of Utah folks don't know about In N Outs prestige yet. But if ya don't know, now ya know! read more

I need to clarify that I LOVE In-n-out. I'm not sure if this location was having an off day or what but my order came out completely wrong. They did replace my fry order but I had to take the tomatoes out of my burger, which doesn't seem like a big deal but when I've got a big, messy burger, the last thing I want to do is dig my fingers into it to fish out a couple of tomatoes. We're all human and order mistakes happen but I've been to this location a few times and it's hit and miss. I still love In-n-out regardless. read more

I did not find anything special or spectacular about their food. The burger was bland and their fries were dry. I can't figure out why this place is so busy. It was highly disappointing. I would pick 5 Guy's Burgers and Fries over in-and-out any day. Hell anything would be better than their food, I would take Mcdonald's over in-and-out, at least it has flavor. In-N-Out truly is a really great company. Consistency at every location, great service, great food, kindness, and stupid, stupid little company hats worn by every employee. It's clean, the drive through is fast, and the beef is a plentiful. Get animal style ery'thang or die! They only open chains to locations close enough to get the specific beef they want. The company has pride in what they do. They don't freeze the fries, you see them chopping the potatoes fresh right there in front of you. You realize how fresh the food is when it starts getting disgusting when you don't eat it when it's hot. The lack of preservatives in the food it tends to get bad fast. But any who, this place isn't better or worse than any of the other In-N-Out locations, it's just living up to it's 5 star brand. read more

Another awesome In-N-Out Burger. I don't know how they do it. The staff work faster than a Nascar pit crew, and manage to maintain their friendliness throughout. Though they always seem busy, the service is always great and the food is exactly what I expect each time. They gave my ankle-biting 2 year old a free paper hat as well as stickers. In-N-Out is Ov-ER-Rated. The special thing about In-N-Out is that you're eating at an In-N-Out and can talk to people from California like you have something in common, even if you live in Utah. Being from California, I'll give you first hand that people talk about In-N-Out when they want to identify another SoCal person...kind of like a secret handshake. Speaking of secrets...there are secret burgers...the Flying Dutchman, okay not really secrets just not on the menu. Google them if you're interested. The burgers are good, but really no better than a Wendy's and the fries, although prepared in-house are always soggy and subpar. I'm telling you, from a person that's eaten lots of In-N-Out, it's all about EATING at In-N-Out and not the food. Food is a C. Recommend if... A) The hot chick at your office is from LBC and you're looking for an "in" B) You're from SoCal and looking for SOMETHING to remind you of the good 'ol days (of strong beer and when ketchup wasn't fry sauce) C) You want to be a Californian, in that case you also have to eat at Sizzler (SLC), Weinerschnitzel (SLC), and Fish Taco (Beto's/Rancherito's is about the same). That will give you the Cali fast-food experience while in SLC. read more

I don't like their fries, something about the texture doesn't work for me. I will say, they make a good cheese burger. i love in-n-out. before it came to utah, it would be the first place i'd go to eat as soon as i landed in orange county, california. this place consistently provides wonderful service (how do they train their employees to be so happy?) and fresh yummy food. their fries need some work, but it probably taste a bit bland since it doesn't have a ton of ingredients like mcdonalds. overall in-n-out is my go to hamburger place since it's fast, fresh, and inexpensive. read more

In-N-Out Burger - Cheeseburger protein style with grilled and raw onions - Burgers Near Me - Draper, Utah

So after waiting years for an In-N-Out, I finally got the opportunity to partake yesterday for lunch. It was worth the wait, and I think it's the best franchise fast food burger out there. My review is far from unique, and other Yelpers have largely encapsulated all the good (and more than their fair share of bad) in reviews around. I highlight four aspects of my experience: (1) The burger is SO good. The hamburger itself is full of beefy flavor, and the veggies are amazingly fresh. I finished my burger and was sad there wasn't more. (2) #1 above is only the case because of the way I got my burger -- ANIMAL STYLE. It's their not-so-secret secret menu addition: They mix up your cheese, grilled onions, and their fry sauce ("spread"), cook it into a melty gooey, ooze, and spread it over your mustard-grilled burger. Holy crap. You've got creamy, melty, slightly salty cheese enhanced with slightly spicy, creamy fry sauce, and combined with pieces of grilled onion that are exploding with dark sweet onion flavor. It's just indescribable. I mean, I've had burgers with good melty cheese. I've had burgers with warm grilled onions. I've had burgers with fry sauce (which doesn't do a lot for me most of the time), but this is the trifecta of toppings, the crown of condiments, the finest of fixin's. (3) The staff is friendly and efficient. Yes, it's a fast food place, but the employees actually seem to WANT to be there. That's a miracle in and of itself. (4) I guess I like pre-mashed and reformed fries. Because their supposedly fresh-cut fries were a disappointment. Someone else described them as "mealy," and I'd agree. I don't know if it's the oil, cooking time, or maybe their potatoes are just old (or the wrong variety). Close to my least favorite fast food fries. So it gets five stars, but really it's just for the animal preparation. I think Smashburger probably has a better burger qua burger and nicer sides. Five guys does a great fast food burger, too. But the Animal Style reigns supreme. read more

If you're craving a great homemade burger, but don't have the time or patience to make one, In-N-Out is a great option. The burgers are so delicious, from the toasted bun, to the perfect beef, to the fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. I love to ask for my burger animal style which means it has grilled onion and a thousand island sauce instead of raw onion. The burgers are as great as their fries are not. The fries are not the crunchy, perfectly fried potatoes that you'll find at other burger places. They are fresh, but just not great. Maybe just get two burgers and skip the fries! read more

Terrible service. They charged us but never called our number. 25 min later it turns out they forgot our order. They had to make it from scratch, then they forgot the milkshakes. The manager ignored us and by the time they finally got the meal to us the burgers/fries were cold. The burgers were also almost completely raw. So we had to wait again for it to be remade. We wound up waiting over an hour just to get the food. They promised to reimburse our meal but never did. read more

Great, fresh food, reasonably fast service and a terrific 50's-style ambiance for fast food. In-N-Out Burger is definitely one of the best fast-food burger options around. Now for the caveats: yes, the fries are fresh -- peeled, sliced & fried right on site -- but they're simply not that great. Arctic Circle Yukon Gold fries win, IMO. Five Guys also makes fries on premises and does a better job. Animal-style is a great option for your burgers at In-N-Out, but I still give the nod to Five Guys for simply making a better burger, with more topping options suited to your preferences. Haven't had a shake at In-N-Out recently, but hear they're good. My favorite shake is from Iceberg Drive-In. read more
