It reminds me of home :) I always get the same thing: animal style cheeseburger and animal style fries. I get the fries well done cause I like them crispy. I also add another piece of cheese to it cause I'm a fatty like that as well as the spread on the side to not get my sides all soggy. All 14 of us headed to In n Out Burger. Being from California we had high expectations of service and taste. While the service was friendly and the place clean the rest was down hill. We were shorted 1 burger & 1 fry in addition 1 burger had to be changed out because the bun was soggy! Then before they made the missing burger a staff member came to our 3 tables and counted our burgers & checked the receipt! Then he said he'd get right on the missed on. Yup, that's right! I just had an awful customer service experience at the Draper In-N-Out Burger. Given the Covid issues, the drive through is the preferred manner in which to order food. I'm pulling a trailer so I asked an attendant how they could help me. I was pointed to a door and told to call the number to order and then they would bring my food out to me. There was no number, so I walked in and asked them how to order. A you g woman did not answer but ran and got a man, the manager I assume. He literally ran around the counter and demanded I leave immediately. He was hostile and amped up well beyond reason. I simply suggested that I was directed to order at the door. He demanded I leave "that it was the law". Clearly the staff needs training and can deal with people without the barrage of emotion....... not a good experience!!!! read more

I seem to recall that when reviewing another In-N-Out location I mentioned I was one of those hard to convert people. I never got the hype, it just seemed boring and a limited menu. I have since changed that opinion. I have a hard time reviewing fast food anyway, but like many people depending on the day and what I'm up to I find myself eating anything from that up to the best fine dining, variety is the spice of life right? So with expectations in mind, In-N-Out actually manages a 4. As fast food goes, it's one of the better places out there, and so consistent from location to location I could almost copy and paste this review for every single one! I do enjoy a good burger. And they certainly do a fine cheeseburger. Real proper meat and all fresh ingredients. Ask for it with grilled onions and you have a real winner. Just what a good burger should be. The fries, as fries go, I actually consider some of the better ones out there, they are at least made of real potato, not mashed up modified starch. But definitely not anything to write home about - does anyone really go to fast food for the fries? read more

This in n out is similar to others in the valley: yummy in my tummy. I just wish their dining room was bigger to accommodate everyone that's trying to get their animal style burger fix. In and out is always so satisfying! We visited sandy for the weekend from Colorado and we were craving in and out so we went first thing in the morning. I usually get the protein style burger with animal style fries. The burger was great but the fries were kind of soggy and it's just warm. We asked for extra crispy fries but that definitely didn't happen which was a little disappointing. Maybe it was because we got in right when they opened ? I don't know.. New to the state of Utah and first time at an In-N-Out Burger. I'm vegetarian and so I ordered "a grilled cheese," which is just the burger with all the veggies plus sauce and no meat. Was very delicious. Also had animal fries, which were a hit because grilled onions...mmm... and a shake that was thick and tasty. I didn't think I'd like this place as a vegetarian (I should say I went with meat-eaters who were also satisfied) but it was great, fresh, fast and the kids loved it, too. The service was top-notch, we spilled some fries and they replaced them for free. This location seems to be much quicker and less crowded than the one in Midvale...that one has a CRAZY drive thru line. Would rec the Draper location any day. read more

In n out always makes a tasty burger / fries. It is not my favorite burger and fries around but it is cheap, fast, and consistent. I think the toasted bun and quality of meat separate it from the other $6 burger meals. If you like hot crispy fries make sure to ask for 'well done fries'. I love In-N-Out! Their food is always great (high quality for fast food). They do not skimp on the lettuce, tomatoes, onions on their burgers. If you ask for well-done patties they will give you well-done. There are also all sorts of secret menu items that are fun to order. What I like more than their food is their staff. They are always super friendly and positive! I could never work there because I am not that type of energetic person, but I sure enjoy being around them when I go in to get food. I like In-N-Out but this location has a fundamental problem with the burgers. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions are too cold. This means these items are likely being sliced in advance and not cut fresh. Tomatoes especially should always be served at room temperature. I really dislike having ice cold tomatoes on my burger. The cashier who took my order was named Hans and he was very kind and made sure my order was correct and came out quickly. As I read through the In-N-Out reviews from fellow Yelpers, I had an "ah-ha" moment. In-N-Out is for guys. Guys seem to love it. Girls don't usually go ape over it. I'm one of those girls, and this is a 1.5 star review. The only reason it's not a single star is that at least they make it affordably bad. So, I remember the days of hanging out in Vegas and picking up some In-N-Out on our way out. It was tradition, and I was determined to relive it once the chain came to our land of Zion. I waited, teasing myself, hoping the county-long drive-thru lines died down a bit. Someday it will all be worth the wait. Then one magical weekday afternoon, I found myself glaring in disbelief at the Draper location. Only eight cars in the drive-thru. Score! I picked up a standard cheeseburger, fries, and Strawberry shake. Yeah, that's the ticket. That's what I remember loving for lo all those years, right? I'm not certain if it's memory loss, or the influence of certain adult Vegas beverages, or what, but...this was NOT the tasty, t-shirt advertised, bumper-sticker worthy In-N-Out food that I remember. The cheeseburger was not bad. It had discernable meat, cheese, and onions; all good things. Check. The bun was a slight little poof of a thing, which had no flavor at all. The fries were the most devastating disappointment. They were so bad, I actually considered tossing them in a nearby trash can. I didn't, because they're so foamy light, I feared they would fly like stryfoam peanuts into a passing car's view and cause an accident. So, as a last resort, I tried the sure save for bad fries - the shake dip. You can dip pretty much any fry in a shake, and it takes it from "ew" to "oh yeah this fry's dipped in ice cream!" That is...if the shake isn't all air, and flavored solely by sugar. So much spun corn syrup in this thing! I would have assumed it was all float foam, but it hung in the air longer. Very disappointing. So, it was as satisfying as dipping air in air. So sad. I am probably no longer being considered along for guy's night out. Which, if they're going to In-N-Out, is fine with me. read more

Finally I get to review the king of fast food burgers! The lines are still a bit ridiculous at this location, but I'm pretty sure the drive through wait is under two hours now. Still, employees are nothing if not efficient here. This has to do both with organization and the fact that they offer a very limited menu. Even with the secret menu, you aren't looking at much of a variation, but that is definitely a good thing. The burger was definitely the best fast food burger I've ever had. The meat was cooked to medium, not the typical well done. Animal style is definitely the way to go- special sauce, caramelized onions, pickles, tomato and a wonderful chunk of lettuce on a grilled bun. The flavors and textures were great, although I think next time I'll order a double-double instead of a single stack burger. The only disappointing part was the fries. They were the pale, thin kind, like what you get at McDonald's. Seriously, Five Guys blows In-N-Out away when it comes to fries. I've never quite understood the infatuation with In-N-Out, and I still don't. However, my husband and I made a trip to the Draper location over Thanksgiving weekend, and I can kind of see what all the fuss was about. I had a cheeseburger with grilled onions and green chiles, and I admit it was pretty tasty! The burgers are really skinny, and I still think I prefer the meat at Five Guys, but they do have pretty good flavor. The grilled onions and sauce are a nice touch and the green chiles transform it from a normal burger to something I'd order on purpose. I had a taste of my husband's Neopolitan shake, and it was delicious! I wasn't a huge fan of the animal style fries (just trying too hard, in my opinion). I don't know if I would make a special trip to go to In-N-Out, but for tasty cheap burgers, I'm starting to see why it's kind of a big deal. read more

Who doesn't love In-n-out seriously? when this opened the lines were none stop way past midnight, i waited outside in the cold for 45 minutes just to get a friggin burger and it's always worth the hype although i will never stand in line cold for that long just for a burger. The most simple menu, easy to order, employees are always extremely helpful and happy, and the fries are fresh cut who can beat that. Did i mention the price is perfect? i'm not sure how they can do it for that price when everyone else seems to act like they are going under with their dirt cheap prices that are still $1 - $2 more for their meal.
