I love In-N-Out Burger I use to eat it on a weekly basis. My experience today was just ok due to the overload of lettuce and tomato on my cheeseburger. It was so much that it actually hid the meat patty and caused my toasted bun to become soggy yuck! It was still good and it's sure better than Shake Shack across the street so my only recommendation is going easy on your lettuce and tomatos that way your customers don't end up with soggy buns. I lived in California when they opened their first locations and people waited in line for hours. I was never a part of that craze. Today was the first time in a couple of years I chose to come to an In 'n Out. When I'm in a hamburger mood my tastes tend to lean toward a simple hamburger or sometimes a cheeseburger. If at all possible I search for a local single location mom & pop place but when you're trapped in chain store hell like this mega-mall location that's not going to happen, and I'd rather go hungry than eat at some of the fast food locations. So I chose to come here. More than any other fast food burger place you can always count on consistency here. And that's why it's hard to write a review about them. So I have to skim over most of the usual stuff ... food quality = as expected, service = as expected, price = as expected, cleanliness = as expected, there is not one thing about this location that stands out for better or for worse. I appreciate that this is one of the few fast food burger places where you can get a plain single burger with basic condiments that actually tastes like a hamburger. Ditto the French fries. We were out on this side of town on a Friday night for a high school football game and realized that in a rush to get to the game on time, we didn't eat dinner. So come 10 PM, we were starving! Well folks, guess who else is starving at 10 PM on a Friday? ALL Gilbert/Chandler high school students! haha! We quickly found out that this In-N-Out is home to high schoolers from all over the area on Friday nights, specifically after football games. But that didn't stop their friendly and fast service! I was so impressed with how they managed the long lines and rowdy high school students exploding from every corner of the building. The guy working the register could not have been nicer. Despite the wild crowd, I got my cheeseburger, mustard grilled, with extra pickles and WHOLE grilled onions (I just learned this was an option!) within 15 minutes and was a VERY happy camper! I haven't be a proponent for fast food for years. Due to some recent changes in my life, I've frequented a few of them more often than well, ever. In-N-Out, I'm a fan. I have eaten there a handful of times now and I have to admit that the burgers and the fries are just delicious. I don't feel guilty after eating here. I mean, no more so than making a burger for myself at home. I love the fact that there are only a few items to choose from, making it super easy for indecisive folks such as myself. It's also actually less expensive then some of the other large chains. Seriously, less than $3 for an awesome burger at In-N-Out. I'm glad there is one near by, I prefer to wait for off peak hours since they do get pretty busy at certain times of the day. BEWARE OF THEIR "WE ACCOMMODATE FOOD ALLERGIES" Claim! I ordered an "egg allergy" cheeseburger with mustard, ketchup, onions and NO SPREAD, and even though the receipt listed "egg allergy" and the employee who handed it to me verified he was giving me the "egg allergy" cheeseburger, when I got home I opened it up to DOUBLE CHECK before giving it to autistic son who is anaphalactically allergic to eggs and I saw it had SPREAD on it (which has EGGS). Called customer service who called the location and "Raven" the manager said the person who handed me the order mixed up the receipts and put the "egg allergy" cheeseburger receipt into the wrong bag, and handed me the wrong order, and they were "sorry". This location was the BEST In-N-Out Burgers I've been to yet. The service started when I walked through the door. Margaret greeted me from behind the counter and assisted me in ordering. I didn't feel rushed and had her full attention. She answered my questions and was very professional. She gave me the nicest smile . Jasmine was also very kind and courteous, supplying my drink cups and directing me to the drink counter. The drink counter was SPOTLESS! The gentleman refilling the lemonade asked me if I was finding the drinks I needed for my order while he was cleaning the area. No tables had trash. The floors were swept and clean. The cook staff were hustling and getting it all done! Behind the counter was also spotless and clean! My order was perfect, even the special order burgers. The hamburgers were juicy and tasty. I love in n out and i've never had a problem with the germann location or the chandler bld one but we went to this one next to the santan mall and we had 2 separate orders. my 13 year old brother paid for his own food, just a burger with animal style fries and when they gave us his food he didn't tell us that the workers forgot to give him his animal style fries, there's $5 down the drain right there. So they ripped off a 13 year old. With my order I asked for EXTRA chilies and she asked me how many cups and I said 2 and when I got home there were none, what's the point of asking me if you're not even going to put them in there? On top of that, we told them we were going to eat in the car and so we got the food in boxed trays, but we actually had to take them for the road bc of the long wait, we sat them on the floor and when i went to pick up the tray, the tray totally broke and both my fries and burgers fell on the floor, not only that but the burgers looked like they were man handled to begin with, the buns were cracked already with finger print dents in them. it was just not a great experience. read more

This is my go to in- n -out, and I usually hit the drive thru. Today it was lunchtime & the line was ultra long, so I decided to go inside to order my food to go. I am always treated very well by the staff. But Cole took my order today & he was so incredibly sweet & friendly. I get embarrassed(as does my husband) by the specifity of my order(#2 Animal style, Xtra pickles, extra toast on the bun, fries well done, coke light ice, sides of hot peppers & a few packets of spread). I told him "I'm sorry, I'm one of "those" people". He said "What?!?! Are you kidding? That's how I order for myself!" It was very sweet & he made me feel comfortable. Exceptional service! Ordered a Double Double, side of fries, animal style fries, a chocolate shake, and a strawberry shake The man taking our orders was so fast (and nice.) But he didn't make us feel rushed or anything.
