It's all about execution, baby! As an operations guy I really appreciate the execution I see at In & Out burger again and again. Since moving to AZ I have made probably 15 total visits to In & Out burger spread over 5-6 locations. Not once has there been the slightest mistake on my order. Not once has an employee been anything less than polite and efficient. While In & Out is not the greatest burger on earth it is pretty good and has been 100% consistent across locations and visits. blah, I tried In & Out once in LA, but I was with people in a hurry and couldn't really remember my experience. So, I decided to give it another try in AZ. I dined in at In-N-Out this evening, Friday the 14th at 11:40 pm. I noticed a girl asking an employee for a refill on her drink. The employee, named Cheyanne, nodded abruptly and rolled her eyes as she proceeded to fill the customers drink. Then threw the cup in the trash can in a very passive aggressive way. I observed that throughout the whole time I was waiting she was very rude and seemed overall very annoyed with her job. As someone who works in customer service, I know how important it is to treat the customer with respect and kindness, and this was not what I observed tonight. All other employees working were fabulous and took the rush with ease and were kind to customers. I was very disappointed in my experience tonight. read more

The restaurant was so busy but our food came FAST, the tables were being cleaned as guests were leaving. No one was waiting long for their food. The staff was kind, courteous and competent! Hardly experience this anymore at fast food (or elsewhere). Will be back! read more

I showed up at 10pm with three friends. The lovely staff denied me some of my holy water. They exclaimed the teenagers would leave their water cups everywhere. We have been to this location several times and have never had a problem. Today, the cashier Jordan was very rude to me and my mom. We all have bad days, but her attitude was really negative and rude and we did not appreciate the way we were treated. She also messed up my mom's order, which we decided to not complain about because we watched Jordan be rude to another customer who brought back their order. My brother and I have both previously worked for the company and know that this kind of attitude wouldn't fly at other locations. read more

In n outs FOOD is always spectacular. The burgers are truly a 11/10. But the service at the Gilbert location is awful. Long story short, my son and his friend have been mistaken with other kids who "hung from the lights and dumped water everywhere". Even though my son and his friends continually denied this allegation, which is very much false, the manager Drew continues to be stubborn and kick them out of the restaurant. Im heartbroken for my son because he loves In n Out and just wants to eat their phenomenal burgers, but Drew refuses to accept they are not the same troublemakers. Now I cannot vouch for my son and say he responded respectfully, as a 15 year old is not mature enough to, but it's a shame that this middle-aged manager cannot get over his stubbornness and just take a kids order. This thick-skulled manager needs to be put in his place. Please check the security cameras or something to confirm it was never my son who caused this trouble that Drew thinks he has. While I was visiting Arizona I decided to try in and out burger for the first time and wasn't particularly excited with the results. Did not care for the french fries at all they were incredibly dry and Styrofoam consistency with no flavor. The burger however was all right. Always curious about why everybody loved in and out burger so much I had to try. You know what they say when in Rome. However it was very anti-climactic and I'm not sure that I would ever get an in and out burger again. read more

In n out.... how do other fast food hamburger joints even stay in business with in n out in town. They are so much better than any other place it isn't even funny. They have a very good "secret menu" for those who arnt frequent visitors, a quick google search will tell you all you need to know. The staff is always very friendly and the service is fast! Did they mess something up? It's rare but it happens but they always make it up to you. I prefer just he standard double double meal with cheese fry's. We ordered in the Drive-Thru around 7:30pm and specifically asked for a few things along with a hamburger with only onions. Not only did the service take more than ten minutes, but when we got the special hamburger it was covered in tomato, lettuce, onions, and barely any sauce. The bun was soggy and reeked of tomato. My brother ordered a cheese fry, but they charged him and gave him two orders of fries. When he brought it up, they seemed helpful, but when he walked away a worker came to our table and rudely demanded he give back his fries, assuming he was out to steal them? I'm not sure but she was very rude and short with us. So he gave them back his entire plate, with some of his other food on it. We didn't get that back for another 5 minutes as they fixed his order. It was my first time eating there. I was surprised at the extremely fast and extremely friendly service! I had a bit of a conversation with the cashier guy who asked me where I was from because he was surprised I'd never eaten In and Out! As for the food, I ordered a plain Cheeseburger with Ketchup, Mustard and Pickles, Fries, and a chocolate Milkshake. The first thing I tried was the shake. It was thick, and cold... but you could tell it was a fast food milkshake. The fries were good tasting but they were soggy and by the time I had eaten like ten of them they were already growing cold. But the burger, while tasting like any fast food burger would taste, was better than most. I still prefer McDonalds in terms of fast food, but this was a close second. Overall the best part of In and Out is their service, they should be commended for that. read more

The five stars is because this is the BEST fast food burger joint in the USA. The food is hot and fresh, the menu is small so it keeps things simple and dang if the burgers are mouthwatering delicious. This is the best thing to come out of california next to fake boobs. Parking is a pain, and there is usually a line (inside). Avoid at all costs at lunchtime, it's PACKED, and that includes the drive-thru. If you can't stand the line, there many alternatives within walking distance. Oh, and get a milkshake! read more
