My co-workers and I loved In-N-Out burger usually come by after 10:30 in the morning and avoid the lunch crowd. Their burgers are the best along with their milk shakes and fries are second best not as good as McDonald's and they are very generous with their portion so crispy and not greasy. Here the employees are very friendly, polite even when they're busy yet efficient and stayed open till 1:30am only on Friday and Saturday while a lot business are closed. Prices remain the same from what it was eight months ago though like everything else either pay more or don't eat out. I've visited this location a couple of times within the last week. I don't normally come to in and out because it's always a long time inside out every time, every location. However, with the last couple of visits here, I walked straight up to the counter to place my order. Which was unheard of! I don't know what's going on with this location, it was not busy both times I visited. One time was the Friday evening before Labor Day weekend, at prime time 6:30pm. Another was around 11:30am on a Sunday! I made it in and out within 15 minutes, both times! This is going to be bias, because I love in n out. Anyone from California will understand, but whether you're not from here or don't like in n out: let me explain. It's a simple burger joint typically only available in the west coast of the United States. They have a small selection of food on their menu that ranges from burger and fries, soda, and milk shakes. What makes this place great however is their selection of fresh ingredients and the ability to have your food made in the style that you desire. The burgers are typically made with beef patties, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, and bread. However, if you like pickles, you can have pickles added at no extra cost. Want it in another style? There's also the additional secret menu option to animal style it, which consists of their animal sauce(ketchup and thousand island dressing), and additional pickles. No carb diet? They also have it in protein style which replaces the buns with lettuce wraps. As for fries, they typically come soft and without salt. Like them a bit more crunchy? Order them out the door, well done. Add some salt for those that have a salt itch. And the secret menu? Animal style fries which consist of a slice of the cheese they use for their burger, fried onions, and their animal sauce. It's delicious and deserves a spot on any dinner table. As for the shake, the offer three flavors which can be mixed for a Neapolitan style shake. The soda is what you find typical but with a welcomed soda option with pink lemonade. One of the nicer in&out stops in the South Bay Area. A little tough to navigate from the intersection of the freeway. This downside is quickly turned to a positive with the reality that multiple destinations coming and going get you right to this location of tasty burger offerings. This is not a place for vegans. The service was friendly and as prompt as it gets for freshly prepared fast food. I went with the double double animal style sans spread add mustard and ketchup. I also asked for whole grilled onions and chopped chilies. This is a tall order for the bun and I'll ask for extra toast next time to minimize the landslide from the abundant goodness. I remember when this location first opened up in the late 90s and sitting in the drive through lane for 45+ minutes! It was the first one in the bay area besides the one in Gilroy at the time. Was in the McCarthy Ranch area and was surprised to see only 7-8 cars in the drive through lane. I wasn't planning on getting In n Out but couldn't resist the surprisingly short line! As with other locations an employee takes your order on their portable kiosk/tablet to speed everything up. They were friendly and welcoming. Our order was ready by the time we drove up to the window to pay, which was only about 5-6 minutes. That was the shortest amount of time ever! The food was fresh and was just prepared. Everything was excellent. My only wish was that I had ordered more. By the time we left, the line had already tripled. Great central location and easy to get to off the 237. Although it is always busy, I've noticed that it's never hard to find a table after you order as people are usually "In-N-Out" As long as you know how to order (e.g. animal style, toasted buns, etc.) or you're into simple burgers, you can never go wrong with anything you order here. This In-N-Out is pretty close to where I live so I come here all the time for dinner. Most In-N-Out's are usually the same when it comes to quality, but this location is a slightly unique because of the how the drive-thru is handled. For the past couple months, it seems like the wait for the drive-thru goes by faster compared to other places. The large parking lot makes going to this location a lot easier than others. My go to meal is a double-double with grilled onions and well-done fries. The total came around $7.37 which to me will always be an acceptable price. The formula and taste hasn't changed for years so I'll always recommend coming to In-N-Out for a quick lunch or dinner. The absolute best time to come to this location is around midnight on a week day (if your schedule allows you to) since barely anyone is in line. read more

Extremely friendly and interactive workers, great service overall. Whenever I have an issue with my burger they immediately do a reorder on the house. They also go around and ask to throw away your trash when you're done with your meal as well. Other than that they keep their restaurant very clean and well stocked, usually never running out of anything. On top of all this, they recently changed their ice to the "nugget" ice (the ice is now more slushie like so it's much more pleasing to chew). In-n-Out is always delicious, don't let the long lines deter you, because they go pretty fast at the drive thru. It helps that they have it down that there's someone taking orders way ahead and getting your orders ready before you drive all the way up. It's organized and works well for them. I can order our double doubles, and anything animal style, as well as spread to go. I'm glad that I can also order no salt for my parents, especially when the fries already come that way. I was just here the other night and I wanted to share my experience with their drive-thru service. It's not my first time here (been going to this one for a little over 12 years now) and I've seen the subtle changes here and there. For the most part I never really experienced the drive-thru line get backed up all the way towards the main road more regularly until the pandemic hit. Then the lines into the main road effectively became a norm because of how popular In-N-Out is. I do this thing where I put a timer on my phone to see how long the drive-thru experience takes. I've also waited 30-40 minutes in the drive-thru before at this location. When I arrived, I was already pretty close to the main road (if 2 more cars lined up behind mine, the last one would be on main road to give you an idea). There must have been 15-18 cars ahead of me from what I could count. It was a pretty packed night and I was expecting possibly another 30-40 minute wait that night. I was done with my order in hand and out their driveway in about 13 minutes. I don't know what kind of magic they did, but they ended up getting everyone's orders done within 40-60 seconds and I was starting to feel like they might've ran out of food, which was why people were driving up to the last window and leaving so quickly. They must have been able to cook everyone's burger patties super quickly from assigning an employee with the wireless tablet to take orders on-foot. Anyways, 13 minutes is not bad, especially for how many cars were in the drive-thru line that night. I was pretty impressed and wanted to shout that out. Also, I'd like to share some of my favorite modifications at In-N-Out: If you didn't know any of these already: * You can get different styles of onions, but a particular one that I really like now is "whole grilled" onions. Maybe check that one out if you haven't already. * You can ask for your burger to be cooked "mustard fried" in which they fry your patty with some mustard on it. When this was introduced to me, the person introducing it said it made it taste better. Honestly, I can't really taste it, nor taste any difference per se, I mean there's a lot going on in an In-N-Out burger already, but I order the mustard fried style now anyways just for the piece of mind. Also, from what I understand, all burgers ordered in the "animal style" come mustard fried already. Another weird caveat is that anytime you order mustard fried, they immediately assume you want pickles too. If you don't want pickles, just let them know that you want mustard fried but not pickles. * You can do a Neapolitan shake, and I learned this recently because I only wanted chocolate and vanilla, but ended up getting strawberry as well. Yay? There's a whole lot more, but I trust you've seen the countless YouTube videos depicting all the "food hacks" and "secret options" In-N-Out offers already. So yeah, thank you for turning a potentially 30-40 minute wait into only 13 minutes, and continuing to make my favorite burgers of all time! read more

I tried the double double and animal style fries. Looking at my burger, it looked pretty good. When I took a bite, not so good. The patties are thin and didn't particularly taste good. They tasted uncomfortably close to a big Mac patty. It didn't taste fresh and not beefy. Nothing special. The bread was nice. 3/5. The fries were OK. I didn't like how thin they were. I ordered animal style fries and didn't make things better. It's just mayo/ketchup on top of the same lackluster fries. 2.5/5. I also had the neopolitan shake. It was just OK. 3/5. I love this California staple. This is my go-to In-n-Out spot as this is the closest one to me. It has a pretty solid amount of parking. I have usually one here during off hours rather than the busy peak hours of like lunch and dinner. And the weight for getting my order is not too bad. I can't speak about the drive-thru experience because I usually have walked in. It is a pretty affordable meal even after COVID. It is just wild to me that a double-double is now $5. My typical order has been a double double with grilled onions and extra tomatoes along with a cheeseburger for later or the day after. I also like getting my fries medium well because the way how they do their fries standardly is a bit soggy in my opinion. So I like to get my medium well. Lines could get long, but customer service makes up for it. Impressed that everytime I chance on this location, ketchup is offered before getting the chance to request it. And this location is not stingy with just 4 packets like most locations will supply. I've tried pretty much everything on their menu incl the secret menu ( "animal style fries" or neopolitan ice cream), but my usual #2 with extra onions, never fails me!
