A few years ago, I was thrilled to discover that Vallejo opened up an In-N-Out location. I was excited to know that I could get my fix whenever I was craving a good burger and fries during my study breaks. In fact, some friends and I would visit this location quite frequently over the years. Each of my experiences at this In-N-Out location have been great. All of the staff I've encountered have been friendly and have made my orders just right. There is a good amount of seating if you'd like to dine in instead of waiting in the long drive-thru line. I haven't dined inside in about two years now, but they kept the tables relatively clean and the restaurant tidy from what I can remember. As with any In-N-Out location, except a long line for the drive-thru. From the times I've gotten my order through the drive-thru, the wait wasn't too long. Had two experiences with this In N Out location and each visit makes me conclude that this place is not very consistent. The first experience - the service was extremely slow and I think it's because there isn't someone outside taking orders. You can't go wrong with In-N-Out! In n out stretches from Southern California all the way to the bay area. This specific In-N-Out is located off of Admiral Callahan Lane in Vallejo. The inside is pretty big and can fit up to 84 guests. The inside is always super clean and there is almost always usually an employee walking around making sure that everyone is comfortable and even pick up your dirty trays. Their bathrooms are usually clean and there's a hand sanitizing station right outside the bathrooms. There are some outdoor seating tables towards the back inside of the restaurant. I would recommend that you come inside to dine because this specific In-N-Out has probably the worst drive-through plan compared to any In-N-Out that I've been to. The drive-through can literally wrap around the entrance to the lot all the way to the back of Jiffy Lube. Traffic is always super high around this area because of it. Also, just like anywhere else make sure you lock your valuables or take them with you because this location has a history of car break-ins, unfortunately. Otherwise the burgers and fries are always made fresh and we can never go wrong with ordering a double double and a side of fresh fries, well done. Don't forget to add your lemonade on the side that goes super well with the burgers and fries here. If you have not been to In-N-Out before I recommend trying their animal style fries. Finally In N Out Burger comes to my hometown, after I move away. This was the first meal I had right after my Japan trip and it was as usual delicious. Hadn't had a burger in over 2 weeks so it was a nice treat. Came on Friday around noon and it surprisingly wasn't as packed as I thought it would be, which was a blessing because I was kinda hangry. Usually when I drive past it when I visit my parents, it seems as if people are just spilling out of the place. Perhaps the hype has finally died down. Being that it only opened about a week ago, the place still gets very busy...inside and at the drive-thru. We came in today (Sunday) around 12:30pm and the drive-thru wrapped around the parking lot. The inside didn't look too busy so I decided to order inside for a take-out. I noticed it didn't make a big difference if I we waited at the drive-thru. I was born and raised in Vallejo and while we've never had a shortage of fast food restaurants, In & Out was one of the few that alluded us and most locals have been clamoring for one for years. A couple years ago, Vallejo was finally granted its wish. I've been living out of state for the last 12 years so last night was my first opportunity to give it a shot. While the food and customer service were right in line with what I've come to expect from In & Out, I do have to say that they couldn't have possibly picked a worse spot. They chose the spot of the old Kinko's building that shares a parking lot with Safeway, a tire shop, and around a dozen or so small businesses. The drive through (and I was told this happens OFTEN) was so backed up that it snaked throughout multiple lanes of the parking lot. Drove by on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00pm and there was still a long line which didn't take too long. It wrapped around the Safeway by the Oil changing center. I would say it took about 10-15 minutes to get my order in but it moves pretty quickly and the staff are always very friendly. I literally had 3 conversations yesterday on what are people's go to. I'm a very basic person and I just get a cheeseburger with onions and regular fries. A lot of people like to get double doubles because of the ratio of meat to the buns is better and lots of people like well done or animal style fries and ask for the spread on the side. The fries are definitely better fresh and I'm always a fan of the "lemon up" a mix of their pink lemonade and seven up! Definitely a California staple that's fairly priced! read more

6/19/2021 Yesterday, I had a surgical procedure performed In Walnut Creek. While preparing for the surgery, I had to stop eating and drinking after 7pm, the night before. By the time I got out of surgery and was released from the hospital, it was already rush hour traffic! I was starving! It had been nearly 24 hours since I had eaten anything and I wanted food! I didn't care what it was at this point! I would have eaten just about anything! My driver suggested getting closer to home before stopping anywhere, so we wouldn't be stuck in traffic too long, as it was getting worse. Reluctantly, I agreed. As we finally crossed the Benicia-Martinez Bridge, he asked where I might want to stop and grab a bite to eat. He was pretty hungry as well, since he had been busy throughout the day and hadn't had time to eat much either. I remembered this In-N-Out Burger off the freeway. I remembered it had open up in Vallejo in 2019, but I hadn't checked it out yet. I use to drive out to Fairfield whenever I wanted an In-N-Out Burger and I was use to going there. Then, after my car accident, I pretty much stopped eating any fast food all together. And of course, the pandemic kept me from going to any restaurants for over a year! But I was starving! I wanted something fast! And I wanted something I knew I would like! Most of all, I wanted out of the traffic!!! SO we stopped here at the In-N-Out! I was so happy that this is where we ended up! First of all, there was hardly any people in the restaurant. I was so use to seeing lines around the corner at the Fairfield In-N-Out, even after the many years of being there. I don't know if it was because of the pandemic that people were no longer going out to eat much, or maybe it was the time of day, although it was already after 5pm and people were getting off of work, driving home for dinner. Maybe the location is confusing for people because the drive-thru is a bit cumbersome, but whatever the reason, the restaurant inside was pretty empty. I will say, that the place was spotless! It was certainly one of the cleanest In-N-Out Fast Food Joints I had ever seen! I don't know if it is due to new sanitizing protocols due to COVID, but the floors, the tables, and the condiment and soda area was very very clean! Of course, they gave you the condiments at the counter now, but the Vallejo In-N-Out was sparkling! Walking in, we were greeted by what seemed to be, the entire happy staff with welcoming and friendly smiles and joyous demeanors. They all seemed genuinely thrilled to see us. We each got the Double-Double Meal Deal. I chose to have mine animal style which includes mustard-grilled patties, two slices of American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and a "Thousand Island Spread" on a toasted bun. Delicious! I hadn't had one of these in years and I was in heaven!!! It was one of the most satisfying meals I had had in a long time! Mind you, I was famished! No food for nearly 24 hours! Now, I know I can and have gone without food for more than 24 hours before, usually because I was so wrapped up and busy with work that I didn't take the time out to eat, but when you are forced or told you can not eat for any period of time, it seems like an eternity!! If you want a fast, great tasting burger with fresh potato French fries on the side and are looking for a quality meal at an affordable price, In-N-Out is the way to go!! read more

Solid drive through experience recently. Double double with grilled onions was good as well as the well done fries. My son had the strawberry shake as well which was good. The best part was there was almost no line at the drive through. Most of the ones that I have been to are usually 6-7 cars deep at a minimum. I came here after a day of fun at six flags around 9pm and there was a line (probably also people going home from six flags). There were workers directing cars to where the drive thru started (over by Oil Changers). It was very organized and well planned. The line did go by quickly and we also found a table for the 4 of us. Ordered our food, grabbed our drinks, found a table and waited for our number to be called. One of the workers saw us get up to grab our food at the front and he asked what was our number. We told him and he was so kind to get us our food. Another employee was going around and asked how was our food and if we needed a refill. I'm sure it was because the place was packed but, it was just one of the best customer service I have received in an In N Out and also in the restaurant business. Food is never a fail. So happy that In-N-Out is finally here in town. It's been a very long time coming!! Hubby went through drive they today around 3 PM and it was pretty quick moving.
