Here are the facts of what happened: Shady Out-of-Pocket Charges: The technician--who I later found out is actually the owner, Jay Kan--told me a specific repair was not covered by my warranty. He made me personally Zelle him money for it out-of-pocket at a highly inflated price. When questioned, Jay flat-out lied to my face and claimed he was not the owner of the company. He Removed the Paid Part: When the initial repair didn't work and Jay had to return to my home, he secretly removed the exact part that I had just paid him for out-of-pocket! I only noticed it was missing after he left. Refusing to Refund: When I confronted him about taking the part, he made up an excuse about "forgetting" to put it back in. I had to aggressively fight with him over texts and phone calls just to get my money refunded for the part he walked away with. Hiding Behind a DBA & Invalid Licenses: Because of how unbelievably sketchy this experience was, I looked up his credentials. He operates on Yelp and Google under the DBA "Raydan Heating & Air Conditioning," but his actual legal registered entities in Nevada are RADDAN INC and RADDAN LLC. What I found under his legal business names was shocking: State of Nevada: At the time of my service, his business entities were not in good standing. According to the Secretary of State, "RADDAN INC" was listed in Default and "RADDAN LLC" was on Administrative Hold. City / Municipal Licensing: He recently tried to clean up his paperwork with the state by converting his entity, but his local municipal records still show his credentials are invalid. Official city records show RADDAN LLC has a license status of Inactive (Closed as of August 2025), and his new Multi-Jurisdictional Business License under RADDAN INC is already listed as Expired. Jurisdictional Violation: Because he does not hold a valid, active multi-jurisdictional license, and he does not hold individual, active business licenses for Las Vegas or Henderson, he is completely stripped of his legal authorization to pull permits or conduct business in those cities. Jay Kan took cash directly from me via Zelle while providing horrific service, lying about his role in the company, hiding his true corporate entity name, and operating with invalid credentials. Save yourself the time, money, and stress. Do not let this company into your home.

Ok that's fine and standard. So I waited and I waited. 4:03pm I called them and they said they are backed up and should be by by 6:30pm, arghhh so I waited. They called when they were on the way. The technician came in and talked a good game. Then he pulls apart my Ecobee and starts messing around with the wiring. He kept asking me if NVenergy put in the ecobee and I said no, my boyfriend did it. Then he asked if my boyfriend knew what he was doing and I said yes, he knows wiring, took him a while to install the ecobee because the system was so old. Then my boyfriend comes home and was pissed off because the guy messed with his wiring and he didn't know what he was doing. So the guy leaves because he couldn't get on the roof to actually check the unit because it was too dark. He told us he'll be back tomorrow morning before noon. But he said the coils are probably dirty and we were using the wrong filter. He goes and sits in his van and then comes back after a bit because he wasn't confident on what he did to the wiring on my ecobee. Then my boyfriend had to school him on proper wiring and the flow of power. The guy also said he's never dealt with "this kind of technology"... o.m.g.......... He also was amazed by our electronic automatic door lock... We were gonna give him a chance the next day to see if he's able to figure out what's wrong with the unit but as the morning was going I texted him and he said he'll be by around 2pm. Now if you know me you'll know I don't like lairs and of course I know it's difficult to estimate time frames with service calls but he insisted that he'll get to my house in the morning and by noon the latest the previous night.
