It was quite busy for being a Thursday night, that's a good thing though. Staff was super busy but very nice and helpful. Although we did not get food this time we have eaten here before and it is always good (their pizza and fries especially!). House red is decent and my Mom loved her Bailey's and cream. Great ambiance too. Location is right in the middle of the lobby which is nice whether you are staying at the hotel or just stopping y for a bite and drinks after a long day in the parks

The Service: Only one server... she has to take care all the customers except at the bar. Food is served in less than 10 minutes. The Food: CHICKEN EMPANADITAS with Ancho chill dip - I don't like the dip at all.... doesn't taste fresh at all. The chicken inside the empanaditas, super dry! Maybe that is why they need the dip to make it easier to swallow the food. CUJO'S BEEF SHORT RIBS SLIDERS with Caramelized onions on toasted buns - didn't really taste the caramelized onions. The beef short ribs is quite salty. The Parking: Hotel parking lot... PRICEY!!!

Got into town a bit late and wanted a place to get dinner for the kids but also a cocktail or two after being on the road driving all day. For some reason, this place wasn't showing up on Yelp when searching "dinner and drinks", "dinner and cocktails", etc, or even "dinner", and only the breakfast menu seemed to be online, but saw people eating sandwiches and pizza when we checked in- the hotel reception said they were open for dinner til 11pm. Service was fast and attentive, they had a good menu, including vegetarian and vegan items like Buffalo cauliflower and a jackfruit "Carnitas" bowl. Cocktails and wine were good and served quickly. Not sure why so many people dinged this place just because it's a hotel bar and restaurant- actually thought it was pretty good for a hotel bar and restaurant, and I was just happy to not have to jump back in the car after all day driving just to find a place that had drinks for me and food for kids. bTW, the full menu is at https://www.taptastego.com/BURSI/outlet/order/bfb4a6a5-a13a-4a27-8a82-4dade54b8b61

Beer wine and liquor....never been sicker.

Will stay at the Sheraton again and will most likely enjoy the bar again as there was amble seating at both tables and bar top.

First and foremost, a huge shoutout to our server, Seth, and the entire team. The service was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Waters were never empty, drinks arrived promptly, and every dish was perfectly timed and coursed throughout the evening. The level of attention to detail elevated an already incredible meal into a truly memorable experience. As for the food, I genuinely don't know where to begin. This might be one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles -- and honestly, it has a strong case for being the best. Every single dish that came out was executed beautifully. We started with the caviar service, which was an easy win from the start. The chips were impossibly light, airy, and perfectly salted, while the onion crème fraîche added an incredible richness that tied everything together beautifully. Next came the milk buns, which were soft, fluffy, and completely addictive. The whipped butter served alongside them was silky, rich, and absolutely perfect. The tiger prawn tostada completely surprised me in the best possible way. It delivered layers of flavor with subtle heat that never overpowered the dish. The prawns were cooked flawlessly, and every bite felt balanced and intentional. Then came the croquettes, which may have officially ruined all other croquettes for me. They were perfectly crisp on the outside while the interior simply melted in your mouth. The accompanying sauce was beautifully balanced and made an already fantastic dish even better. For mains, we ordered the Dungeness crab pasta, which was light, fresh, and elegant. It wasn't trying to be overly complicated, and that was exactly what made it so good. It was a reminder that simplicity, when executed well, can be extraordinary. The pork belly risotto was another standout. The risotto itself was cooked perfectly, and the pork belly somehow managed to be both crispy and melt-in-your-mouth tender at the same time. Every component on the plate worked together flawlessly. We also ordered the corn and roasted potatoes as sides, and somehow even those managed to steal the spotlight. The corn was an absolute flavor bomb, and the roasted potatoes were equally unforgettable. And then came the star of the evening: the tomahawk. Without question, it was the best tomahawk steak I've ever had. The accompanying chili sauce wasn't aggressively spicy like a traditional salsa might be; instead, it was incredibly balanced and complemented the richness of the steak perfectly. Every bite was absolute perfection. By the end of the meal, we were completely stuffed, but after a dinner this good there was no chance we were skipping dessert. We ordered the French toast dessert, which was delicious with its tangy strawberry syrup and beautifully executed flavors. My only critique would be that I wish it had been served warmer and in a slightly larger portion, because I truly think that would have taken it to an entirely different level. Overall, I left absolutely blown away. The chef, the kitchen team, and the front-of-house staff delivered one of the best dining experiences I've had in a very long time. It was the perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday, and this is without a doubt a place we'll be returning to again and again.

Everything was delicious--the croquettes, the crushed potatoes, the branzino, the lobster tagliatelle, 10/10. The octopus dish was absolutely insane, though. That was far and away one of the best preparations of octopus I've ever had. Dessert here remains next-level. The coconut pudding was unforgettably different and had SO MUCH going on. That was an explosion of different flavors that were so unexpected, inventive, and unique. The musicians that night (stand-up bass, and piano) were playing jazz covers of a lot of familiar older songs. They were so talented, and fun to watch! Another lovely night with Verse. Thanks again!

Fast forward, I live down the road now. Didn't remember the name or place. But my partner and I wanted to attend the "Krampus Cove"event. Which we had done at another location two years ago. We were stoked that it was at a new spot, and so close! We went on a Sunday afternoon. So it wasn't packed. Had a booth to ourselves. The decor inside was amazing. And the show was hysterical and fun. The actors are so great. Now as far as the bar goes - we plan to go back during normal operating hours and times (hopefully soon). And I can comment more. But I will say I'm excited to go back because the cocktails are super delicious, AND they have daily happy hour (5-8pm if I'm not mistaken). Huge plus. The only negatives are the parking. Very little parking lot so that could be tough on a busy day. And the service was mid. There was one friendly bartender, and another one that just may have been having a rough day. But I didn't feel really welcomed or attended to. Rest of the staff was great!

Pros: free parking in the back, bartender is friendly, food is offered, space is large. Cons: food and drinks were bad, games were minimal, damaged, with pieces everywhere, staff was off putting Examples: - my friend ordered a hot chocolate and said it was the worst she's ever had. The water to powder ratio made it more like tea. She asked for more powder. They brought out a Swiss Miss packet, and made passive aggressive comments about how they were going above and beyond for her and they should charge her double (she's not a picky person so for her to complain you know it's bad) - we only found three games in the place but they were small plastic things like flick the ball into the hoop with all pieces out of the boxes and laying randomly under a tv tray behind a bar table - the food wasn't very good - the waiter didn't remember he needed my payment for the two hours I was there - the menu was basically non existent because their fryer was down and so they couldn't offer most items - it was dark and hard to see anything - the owner and her relative took over our hangout for around 30-40 min, asking us to bring in our "actor friends" and help them get more business.

The rooms and amenities are all updated however, and if you want to be close to Universal Studios or Studio City in general, this hotel is excellent. Their main restaurant, Front Yard offers a daily breakfast buffet and ala carte brunch, lunch, and dinner. We had 4 people traveling and 4 people were not going to fit into the 1 king room. When we asked to be switched, they offered us a roll in bed, which was the size of a twin bed, would not fit two adults. When we got up to our room, there was hair on the wall between the shower and the toilet, making us feel like it was not cleaned thoroughly. Our electric car was charging on site and we were running back and forth doing things for the wedding, setting up, etc. No one informed us that there would be an additional charge if we were still parked there after our car was done charging. $58 later and when we mentioned that in our review through the hotel, they said they'd comp our food bill, which was 2 drinks and a fruit bowl, probably $20+. This was disappointing to my mom, who went beyond her means to stay on site for the wedding. This was completely disappointing as we were traveling for a wedding that took place on site. 2 of us were luckily able to stay in the luxury suite which was reserved for the groom get ready room (2 nights). If those stars hadn't aligned, we would not have been able to sleep comfortably in our 1 king room. Also, the suite does not have a microwave in it, we had to request one to be brought up, which I found unconventional. My cousin had their wedding here for how much money my aunt spent between the suite, a bride get ready room, and just the general costs of a wedding, it was disappointing to hear she had a difficult experience here as well. She mentioned that they pulled her away from her son's wedding reception to place her credit card down for incidentals. Why hadn't that happened beforehand? They had her card on file already between all the rooms she booked, so the fact that they took her away from this once in a lifetime experience is ridiculous. She also mentioned that they asked not only for her card info but for her ID. She told them she was not going out of her way to find that when she didn't have it on hand and they were in the middle of celebrating. Needless to say, it was an unfortunate experience this time around. I've been here before and didn't experience the lack of professionalism we experienced this time. The valet service and the staff that supports with luggage were very helpful and kind. It saddens me to have to write such a poor review for such a beautiful place. I have recommended this place to people in the past for general lodging. However, for weddings or any big event, this is not the best of places to host.
