[[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes here are immaculate! Almost talum vibes! Actually..very much talum vibes. Dj and fire dancers as entertainment, on the weekends..So make those reservations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hostesses/ - 1/10 umm not so welcoming or nice. Our waitress Michaela was AMAZING!!. Seriously so helpful and patient. Loved her attitude. Please hire all the Michaelas in the world! Our entire party loved her, as we were celebrating a birthday and she made sure that it was a special night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The 4/5 stars is because I'm not quite sure how I feel about having people smoke hookah around and next to me as I'm eating. That wasn't pleasing at all. Wish they would separate the two. Perhaps, keep the hookah upstairs and food/dining in the downstairs area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The spicy vodka pasta (not pictured) had a great taste just the noodles were undercooked. The wagyu was cooked to perfection. The shrimp tasted great, worth trying at least once.

Had such a great time! My boyfriend brought me here to celebrate my graduation on the 17th. The food was delicious and our server, Maia S, was super nice! We enjoyed her service and kindness! Would definitely come back again!!!

Made a reservation through open table for my sisters birthday on a saturday at 6:45 PM. Luckily at this time, it isn't as busy as later in the night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is absolutely gorgeous and we all loved the aesthetic and ambiance of this place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They do hookah after 8 PM I believe, so anyone that's underage isn't allowed. They also have music playing and then a DJ as well too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was Michaela, who was AMAZING!!! So shoutout to her! We couldn't have asked for a better server! She was sooo attentive, kind, and was the kind of person you'd want representing your restaurant. Thank you Michaela for your outstanding service! Now onto the food, we all ordered different items like: calamari, shrimp tacos, spicy vodka pasta (one with shrimp & one with chicken), fettucini alfredo, lobster roll, and the rouge burger. The food was absolutely amazing! Pasta is usually a hit or miss since sometimes you need to add salt, but the pasta was seasoned extremely well. Calamari was fried & seasoned well too! My Mom is a very picky eater & got the burger, but she loved her burger. The lobster rolls with the waffle fries were very good too. Now onto the drinks, the ladies ordered the Lychee Martinis & Hibiscus Bliss and my mom got the Passion Fruit Iced Tea. The Lychee Martini was dangerously good. You could NOT taste the alcohol in it! The Hibiscus Bliss was very strong, but good! & Passion Fruit tea was good once you added the liquid sugar they had. The men ordered the Allagash White beer, which they also loved. We also brought cake for my sisters birthday, which they gladly stored in their fridge for us for no fee! They also gave us a dessert platter for her birthday, which was sooo kind of them! Overall, our experience really blew us away. We cannot recommend Rouge enough and will gladly go back again! Thank you Michaela & Rouge for you amazing service, food & drinks!

The food was delicious but the service was so so. I went on Valentine's Day, and even though they were not busy at all, service was pretty bad. Staff was kind of rude and it took 30 minutes and multiple asks before we got our bill. However, they do have one of the best dirty martinis!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really nice space![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've been twice and both times got amazing waiters! Food taste good, cocktails - ok [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere very interesting, cane easly evening it was calm and cozy and in an hour or so the lights dimmed, music got louder and then the dance ladies came out to entertain, very interesting experience![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking valet or street, there is no parking lot, so thats the only minuse i would say. Would recommend this plave and would suggest to make a reservation especially at the end of the week!

First time dinning here with my family, our host Michaela (hoped I spelled it correctly) was amazing loved her positive vibes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was damn cute also its really great for a family night out or friends or just because.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was bomb as well, the smash burger was our fave. [[HIGHLIGHT]]On Friday, Saturday and Sunday they have entertainment, like DJ or fire dancing that usually starts at 8pm but after 9pm NO UNDER 21 I believe because of the hokka.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is really a great spot to celebrate an especial occasion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely come back, everything in this place is a great chill night from food, entertainment and even the staff. Good job Michaela...loved your happy and very positive attitude. Did not disappoint at all.

Best seating area if you are celebrating an event - upstairs by the bar.

I feel like nightlife in LA has been slowly declining, but there are still a few spots that are absolutely thriving and this is one of them. You do need a reservation. Weeknights are manageable, but weekends are packed in the best way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone shows up, the music is on point, and the energy is exactly what you want.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is genuinely great (Omg order the pasta), and between valet and street parking, it's easy enough to get in and out. That said, I do think they could benefit from a Mon-Wed incentive because I selfishly love it here on a Monday night and want that same weekend energy. What really sets this place apart though is the service. The manager, Narek, is on another level! You'll see him doing everything. Bartending, hosting, checking on tables, running the floor. It's crazy. He's everywhere, and he makes sure you're taken care of. It's rare to see that level of hands on hospitality anymore. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a true hotspot. Good looking crowd, great music, strong energy, and standout service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also had my birthday here. Honestly, I can't think of another place on Ventura Boulevard right now that compares. If service is high on your list, Narek alone makes this place worth it. Enjoy!

I found this place on TikTok, and was super excited to try. The restaurant is beautiful open roof and it was perfect weather. Their espresso martini was delicious, the food, everything we tried was delicious and waitress was great! Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Drinks: 10/10 I definitely recommend giving them a try really cute place for a date night or dinner with friends. I will be back next time I'm in LA.

This place is cute, but pricey. I came on a Tuesday night and it was practically empty, yet the host tried to seat us in the very back corner. When we asked for a better table in the middle (again -- empty), she hesitated and said, "If we get busy, I'll have to move you." That was unnecessary and honestly gave off weird vibes. The ambiance inside is trendy with an island-lounge feel -- definitely nicer than it looks from the outside. The hookah was good, the waffle fries were great, and I enjoyed the burrata salad. So food-wise, no complaints. But when it came time to pay, I was pretty shocked. For a hookah, fries, a salad, and a bottle of water, the total came out to $150 after tip -- which feels insane for a casual hangout. The server brought over a card reader that just asks for a tip, but I was never shown an itemized bill, even though I selected the "print receipt" option. No receipt ever came, and when I asked for one, our server just disappeared. I genuinely don't know how that total was calculated -- and without a breakdown, I couldn't even verify whether gratuity was already included or if I double-tipped. Management should really address this; transparency with billing is basic customer service. Service overall was okay -- friendly at first, but we barely saw anyone after we got our food. I will say, I asked Shay to take a picture of us before we left and she was super sweet and helpful. She kind of saved this place from being rated even lower. Thanks Shay. The bathrooms were very clean, which was a plus. Parking can be tough, but they do offer valet. Would I come back? Maybe -- but only if they improve how they handle seating and receipts. A place this empty on a weekday shouldn't be this chaotic... or this expensive.

I came earlier in the day so I didn't get to see the night time festivities that go on so I will have to return for that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The day time ambiance was laid back[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], our food was amazing, and our server was so nice and accommodating when helping us find a good drink. I would definitely return!

I managed to find street parking which was a bonus. Otherwise it's valet in the front. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were a party of 6. We came in early at 6 so it was quiet and we were able to have a conversation. It gets loud and a fun atmosphere around 9.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a performance with the fire girls. Not sure what it's called but it was entertaining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in the outside area (covered for the winter with heat lamps)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you don't like the smell, the people smoking hookah is not bothersome at all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was fabulous. I wish I remembered her name. Super attentive and sweet. We ordered the calamari and stuffed shrimp to start. The shrimp was sooo good. Delicious. Calamari was your regular calamari. Entrees are limited. Most of the table got the shrimp tacos and the lobster roll. Both were very good. The waffle fries that it comes with is perfectly crispy. Cocktails were amazing. We got the lychee martinis and the divorce papers (I got it with vodka instead) For dessert we got the combo. All were surprisingly good.

Fun ambiance for late night cocktails and hookah. There is a DJ in the center of the lounge playing both ambiance and dance music. There were parties celebrating birthdays at the same time, welcoming and open environment.

I live next door and have been coming for 10 years. Always left positive reviews even though it has changed over time. Simply ordered charcuterie and got Lunchable colby jack squares and salami buried in fruit to hide the low quality ingredients you're paying high prices for. Never seen them attempt this before. Ugh..how disappointing. As if this neighborhood wasn't competitive enough. I'll come back because the place is constantly changing, but this was almost comical. Waiter offered a refund, but I declined because this is what they chose to put out.

It's a restaurant with an overall speakeasy vibe BUT is not dark and foreboding. Rather, its high ceilings, well spaced out tables, and appropriately lit dining/bar space has a welcoming, cool vibe! And the music to fill the space before the live music was well, my kinda music - vibey 80s/90s hip hop. On top of that, the STAFF - the folks we met on a Monday (senior citizen hour) night were incredibly kind and attentive. We did stay through the first set of musicians that performed and it was great. Loud, but not loud enough that me and my friend couldn't still talk. Now onto the food. A nice surprise, considering this is a music joint! That bread was solid. The side portions decent - mushrooms and broccoli were fine. The steak was a generous size, cooked appropriately medium rare, and came with a unique side of bone marrow salsa. That was a nice, interesting touch. Was it the BEST food I've ever had? Not exactly, BUT it was the best food as part of a music joint, in the Valley. So the 5 star rating is really for the OVERALL experience.

We came in at 7:30pm on Wed. 7/10/26 and they were having a special collaboration prefix dinner between Chef Oscar Torres and Chef Joe Garcia. Normally this is an à la carte restaurant, but tonight was a special event. They offer valet parking or you can park at a meter on Lankershim. You would never even guess there is a restaurant here when you look at the building from the outside. The name of the restaurant isn't even visible anywhere. Once you walk in, it's like you are transported to another world. The place was packed and the music was bumping. The vibes were immediately great and the moody lighting made for some cool ambience. We were seated immediately and our table happened to be right in front of the band stand. They were absolutely OUTSTANDING and the highlight of the evening! You could tell every single person in the quartet really felt every note they were playing in their soul. The harpist was exceptionally good. It was such a joy to listen to them while we ate our meal. Speaking of our meal, it was 7 courses with each chef using the same ingredients to create completely different dishes. It was a cool concept and everything tasted very good. Very fresh and excellent quality ingredients in every dish. The meal had 2 downsides for me and one of them was the dessert. It was a coconut pudding with some sort of fruit granita on top, with a slice of melon on ice. It felt cheap, almost as if there wasn't even any effort in coming up with something substantial and decent. The pudding itself was grainy, and the granita was already melted when it came to the table. For me, it didn't taste good and it didn't work. The other downside was the wait time between the risotto course and the fish course. Our server told us "they're super backed up with the Halibut in the kitchen", so I'm not sure what happened. It was about a 30 minute wait before we got the fish, but I will say it was cooked to perfection. I really liked this place and would like to try it again under regular circumstances. I've heard a lot of good things about their food and I'd like to try things from their actual menu. This experience was a 4-star, but maybe next time it will be a 5-star.
