Volcano Nachos (chili on the side)
    Aimee C.

First timer at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville & it was an awesome time! This restaurant has a fun, carefree, summer vacation energy, the whole place leans into tropical vibes - palm trees, bright colors, and summery music, it's slightly cheesy but in a good way. All the food & drinks we tried were fun & festive. The Ahi Tuna Poke Nachos were surprisingly delicious & tasty, the tuna was very fresh. As someone who isn't crazy about alcoholic beverages, I have to say all the drinks we tried were actually good & fun to sip on with our meals! I felt it would be wrong to visit margaritaville & not get a margarita, my favorite was the blue lagoon, it wasn't overly sweet as some cocktails can be. I have to mention the amazing service provided to us by our waiter Ben. Ben was kind, fun, interactive & brought the best energy. I feel so lucky that we got to have him as our waiter. I only docked a star because we experienced some mixups with our orders & they had to remake a few thins which kept us waiting. The food runners seemed a bit bothered by the mixup but we got it under control in the end so no worries, it happens. Overall, I had a very fun time & would love to visit again!

Beyond Burger Paradise, cut in half with pickles and tomatoes on the side

Had the most wonderful and fun dining experience at Margaritaville, especially due to the great service from our server Ben! His enthusiasm and energy were so uplifting and I'm so glad we had the chance to meet him. This was my first time dining here and I left the restaurant already wanting to plan my next visit. I'll admit, I'm generally a sucker for a themed restaurant, and the ambience at Margaritaville was pure tropical and island fun. The decor was spot on and I felt transported to a kitschy (in the best way!) resort. It was a little slower as we went on a Tuesday night, but definitely still lively. For drinks, I sampled the Blue Lagoon, the Green Iguana, and the Lava Flow. Out of these three, I enjoyed the Lava Flow the most as I tend to prefer a milder alcohol taste. Food wise, I was able to try the Volcano Nachos, Ahi Poke Nachos, Beyond Burger Paradise, Cheeseburger in Paradise, and Cheesy Garlic Bread. Everything was absolutely delicious, though I will say there was a bit of a mix up in the kitchen and some of the modifications we had requested were not fulfilled. Still, these were promptly corrected when brought to the attention of the food runners, and everyone was content with their meals in the end. My favorite bites were definitely the Ahi Poke Nachos, which were so fresh and had a great flavor/texture to them, and the Beyond Burger, which was delicious paired with french fries and ranch! As we were celebrating a birthday, Ben brought out a cute little sundae and some extra cherries for the table, which I thought was very sweet and much appreciated. Overall, given the great food and even better service, I give Margaritaville 5 stars and look forward to my next visit!

    Dangerously good. Cadillac margarita.

Time to Margaritaville with a Cadillac margarita. This was an impromptu visit here. The wait on a Saturday night around 7 PM was only about 25 minutes, but we decided to sit at the bar. The bar area was full, but that area also includes the outdoor patio, which is where we sat. The wait and service was a bit slow in that back area, so I ended up going to the bar myself to order drinks and food. All great from that point on. We we're presently surprised how good every thing was as far as the food goes. The fish and chips - fish was meaty and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. The batter to the fish was not thick at all, which is what I prefer. The buttery garlic bread was good as well and not oily at all with a side of the marinara sauce. Excellent. I thought the house salad on the side was a little lacking. It had mostly white parts of the lettuce and no croutons. And the star being the Cadillac, Margarita was an A+. This was almost identical to Cabo Wabo's Cadillac margarita which we can never seem to find that same. Taste anywhere else. Bravo on this Margaritaville! There is a stage in the restaurant so the music performances probably creates a really vibe here. Will be returning for sure to enjoy more margaritas and food :)

If you are at Universal Studios, this is a great food option on City walk. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing after a long day at the park. Very good vibes. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip appetizer and it was off to a good start. For our entrees, it was 2 cheeseburgers in paradise and salmon. The burgers were delicious as well as the salmon. Overall, a solid meal in a really cool restaurant. One of my favorites in the area.

First time at Margaritaville at Citywalk - I went into the restaurant with zero expectations and I was actually quite pleased with the food. Ambiance was fun and relaxing with tons of props for a tiki tropical vibe. Servers were friendly and checked in on us often. I got the cheeseburger in paradise and shared the ahi tuna nachos with the group. I requested for a plain cheeseburger and it was flavorful and satisfying. The ahi tuna nachos were delicious. Tuna was fresh and had no fishy taste at all. Margarita was refreshing and pretty standard.

    Cheeseburger in Paradise

A quiet Wednesday night even for Universal City Walk. No reservations required, just walked in. Food was good but our server stole the show. Excellent service. Food was pretty good too. Fried pickles were perfect. Not too thick and just enough batter. As other reviews mentioned, the onion rings were ok definitely too much batter. The real gem was the Beach Club sandwich and the Cheeseburger in Paradise! The Cuban sandwich was average and the Veggie Sandwich was a delicious lite option. Buffalo wings were good but portion could have been a little bigger. Cheesy garlic bread was delicious but only enough for two people to share, not 4. The Chocolate Brownie Sundae was a bit disappointing. Very little chocolate sauce over it. Basically a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The Margarita Flight was very watered down with little flavor. Not worth the $25.

    Perfect Margarita.

I love Margaritaville so much. This is the third location I've been to, after the Orlando and New York City outposts, and it's just such a pleasure to hang out within its walls. We showed up around 3:30 on a weekday and the place was far from packed, so we grabbed a spot at the bar and perused the Happy Hour menu. Obviously I had to get the Perfect Margarita ("Margaritaville gold and silver tequila, triple sec, orange curacao, freshly squeezed lime juice, and agave nectar served on the rocks. For margarita aficionados only"), since I've had it before and it's never disappointed. I sure wasn't disappointed this time, either. It really is a perfect margarita; it's got the ideal balance of the sweet and the salty, and it's just such a refreshing beverage. I wound up ordering three and they were all stellar. We also shared an order of the Chips and Salsa ("Fire-roasted tomato salsa and tortilla chips"), and they were terrific. The nachos tasted fresh and weren't too salty, while the salsa was perfectly assembled and contained a good level of heat. Our two servers were excellent, too. Honestly, going to Margaritaville is always a highlight of my trips, so I wish they'd come to Toronto already.

We had our department lunch retreat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville on a Saturday before noon. It was everyone's first time at this restaurant. Reservation was made and as soon as we arrived we were seated. The host was friendly and courteous. As soon as we were seated our waitress Merry came over and welcomed us. Merry was excellent. She provided excellent customer service. She asked if any of us had food allergies so she can inform the kitchen. Love how considerate and aware Merry is of people with food allergies. Thank you so much Merry. She was consistent on stopping by and checking to see if our party was ok and if we needed anything. She also came by to replenish our drinks many times. We were a party of 13 so it was a good size group. I don't remember what everyone ordered however, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast. It was marinated and seasoned with special blend of spices, mango salsa, island coconut rice and fire-roasted corn. It was good and flavorful. The chicken was not overcooked. My friend and co worker ordered the Caribbean Blackened Salmon with mixed greens, avocado, cucumbers, mango, red peppers, queso fresco, crispy tortilla strips, passion fruit vinaigrette. She gave me some as it was plentiful for her. The servings were huge servings. The Caribbean Blackened Salmon was good. I look forward to eating here again to try other food items on their menu. Their menu consists of a mix of Caribbean-inspired and American comfort food, with a focus on fresh seafood and tropical flavors.

We've eaten at almost every restaurant at Universal Citywalk except this one. So glad we finally stopped by. The food and service were great! It was pretty empty when we arrived, but that's fine cuz no wait whatsoever and we got to sit in one of their booths. They're located on the other side of Citywalk past the AMC theater and close to the Curious George parking lot. We ordered the Margaritas Flight, Strawberry Daiquri mocktail, burrito bowl, & shrimp po boy. Also got side orders of potato waffle fries with ranch sauce. Their ranch sauce is delicious! The drinks and food were very tasty. They also have happy hour Monday-Friday at 2-6 pm. It's a really cute and chill spot to dine at. Definitely heading back to try their other menu items.

We were welcomed quite nicely and it was a very tropical ambience with a beautiful display of food and drinks. We were very pleased, especially with the jambalaya which was very authentic. And the service was incredible. Our waitress was above and beyond, Jasmine was great. She even celebrated my birthday thx.

Came to this location before watching a movie. Our mistake was coming here before Halloween Horror Nights- the parking lot was insanely busy. It took about 20 minutes to park and get here but luckily, it was past the crowded time so we were immediately sat. We told our waitress that we had a movie soon and she promptly took our drink and food order. We got the famous margaritas and we were a bit disappointed that we couldn't taste the tequila. I got the poke nachos which were good, I wish they added a bit more avocado and my husband got the fish tacos. Overall, it was a solid outing for a quick bite before a movie. I would probably order another kind of margarita- this one fell short.

Soggy bottom bun from a hamburger. Literally melting from all the water.

I want to say the service was dismal, but they at least did it politely... kinda. Watching the hostesses call a customer a bi$&h after she left should've been a hint, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt since I didn't see the initial incident. I brought my family of five in after the park closed at 20:00. At 20:30 only five or six tables had people seated, and there were twice as many unoccupied tables. We sat for over 30 mins, tired and hungry. No one left the restaurant during this time. Eventually a table that had been sitting empty this entire time, was dressed for dining and we were finally seated. More families came in, and now I watch as they wait. We haven't received our food yet and I already felt prompted to comment. Nearly an hour since I walked in the door, and all we have is ice water so far. We choose Margaritaville pretty often when we travel, and have never felt like we were being ignored before.... Oh great. As I'm writing this review the hostess opened up a huge sliding glass door, immediately adjacent to our table, and cold air is pouring in on us. It's almost 21:30 and now my family is cold. Asking the hostess to close the door got a smug response and she slid it about 1 foot and walked away. Thank god for our server. She understood how we felt and offered us a new table without us requesting. She was really sweet and seemed to care a bit more. Now here for over an hour, have a new table, have a new server, still only have my ice water. I'm banking on past experience that hopefully the food is as remembered. I'll only update this post if the food disappoints. Edit/update: pics for reference. Looks like they rest the burger on a bed of wet lettuce. Couldn't even pick up the burger at first. Server staff was the only great part of this and saved the experience from being ruined.

They refused to add salmon to my pasta. Even though I said I'll pay for it. The atmosphere was just like other Margaritavilles. Honestly, my stomach hurts so bad now. I'm not sure if I have food poisoning, but I cannot stop running to the bathroom throwing up and with diarrhea. The garlic bread was so hard that I couldn't even eat it. The drink I had didn't seem like it had any alcohol in it at all. All in all...1 star.

We grabbed two breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon and one without, and both were standout in their own way. The first thing you notice? These sandwiches come out piping hot, wrapped tight and ready to go. Crack them open and you're hit with perfectly cooked eggs and an almost ridiculous amount of gooey, melted cheese. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside. It holds everything together without getting soggy, even with all that cheese. * The meat version had crispy, flavorful bacon layered just right, salty, smoky, and not overdone. * The meatless one didn't feel like a compromise at all, still rich, filling, and honestly just as indulgent thanks to the cheese and eggs. No frills, no gimmicks, just classic deli breakfast sandwiches executed really well. Bottom line: If you want a hot, cheesy, perfectly toasted breakfast sandwich that actually hits the spot, Paulie's is a win. I can't wait to go back for lunch!

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, although almost all the pastries were already sold out, so I'm guessing the real rush is in the mornings. Overall, I personally wasn't a fan, mainly because the drinks and most of the food felt pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was honestly the most bland matcha I've had, which is surprising considering there was strawberry puree in it. It didn't taste low quality, just very muted and not something I'd order again, especially since I get matcha (and strawberry matcha) pretty often elsewhere. My husband got the pistachio latte and liked it, but mentioned it leaned a bit too sweet for his taste. For food, we tried the breakfast bagel and I genuinely can't believe how bland it was. It had all the components you'd expect, everything bagel, eggs, cheese, aioli, bacon, and more, but somehow it just fell flat. I kept wanting to add salt or some kind of sauce to bring it to life. I actually stopped eating it because it didn't feel worth it to keep going for something so flavorless. The one highlight was the spinach quiche. I really enjoyed it and would come back for that specifically, although it did feel a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't object.

I got myself a Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad & an Impossible burger. Nothing to drink and no fries. They have a lot of options to choose from: Sandwiches, burgers, tater tots, fries, drinks: milkshakes, cold & hot, salads and wraps. Service by Mason was AWESOME! He took my order and the order came out fast & quick. My food was very delicious and fresh. Restaurant was clean, and it is not a big place. Interior was pretty dope, colorful, and upbeat. They were playing great music overhead and I would definitely return to try other options from their extensive menu. Sandwiches were HUGE!! The food was amazing! This time we went for the Rickmas collab. Honestly the smash burger with pickles, fried pickles and pickled flavored ketchup was perfect. Once you got past the top layer they were just fries. We will be back because I want tha Fat Bahn Mi!
