We came here on Fathers Day when they had a delicious looking buffet; however, we decided to order off the menu because I've had Inchin's bookmarked for toooo long not to order the foods exactly what I wanted. We had the tandoori momos, papdi chaat, and paneer tacos for appetizers. The tandoori momos were simple on the inside - just paneer, but the tandoori coating was highly flavorful! The papdi chaat hit the spot on a hot day - you know they're doing it right when the potato to papdi ratio is just perfect. Our favorite was the tacos - the paneer was packed with flavor. It was one of those apps where you take one bite and you're just amazed - crunchy, soft, zesty perfection. For entree we shared the paneer tikka baked in the clay oven. This came hot in a sizzler with onions, green peppers on a bed of charred cabbage (who knew but - woah!). We paired this with some cilantro and tamarind chutney and butter naan - absolutely delightful. The kids also had a cheesy naan with fries (kids meal) which they enjoyed! Lastly, for dessert we had to try one of their unique sweet treats and opt for the date wontons with ice cream. It was a cool concept but not something I'd get again. There are many other desserts on the menu that look great though! Cherry on top of the appetizing food was the kind service. With 3 little ones, I'm always stressed going out to eat at these types of restaurants, but they were very accommodating and welcoming of my family... made my experience that much better. Went to Inchin's Bamboo Garden for dinner. The décor was nice and the place had a good ambiance. We started with Manchow soup, which was decent. For the main course, we ordered chilli garlic noodles and Schezwan in sauce. The chilli garlic noodles were average, but the Schezwan was below average and had an odd essence-like smell. The server was polite and offered to replace the dish, so we tried paneer Manchurian, but unfortunately that was below average as well. Service was fast and the staff was responsive, which we appreciated. One of the best indo chinese place in NJ. We started off with mocktails - most of our group ordered the one based of Ashwagandha and other one was jalapeño, cilantro, lemon based. Both the drinks were quite unique and creative - they tasted amazing!! In appetizers, we went with paneer taco and hot pot vegetable dumplings - both of these were out of the world! I absolutely love the hot pot dumplings - the sauce has the sichuanese peppercorn flavor and it had a nice kick! Mains we ordered burnt garlic chili friend rice, vegetable Manchurian and Hakka noodles - the classic indo chinese order. All of these were great, sumptuous and did satiate the craving. Date wontons with ice cream was an absolute delight to finish off our dinner. The service was great overall - courteous, quick and friendly. Overall the ambiance is nice as well. Lived the ambience and service here. Very polite staff, quick and attentive servers. The food was quite good too, I tried the achari paneer tikka appetizer, American chopsoey and rasmalai tres leches for dessert. The rasmalai tres leches was absolutely yummylicious. One thing I did not like as much were the Indian themed cocktails. I was excited to try these cocktails that included various Indian flavors and spices like kokam, black salt, turmeric, ginger etc wondering how it would taste and unfortunately, they lacked balance making the drinks too much of everything. We went to bamboo garden. Our server was phenomenal and actually recommended a few different Indian restaurants for us to try. Butter Chicken was extremely delicious and the naan was fantastic. Also had really good dumplings. My boyfriend got spicy fried rice he loved. Too spicy for me. I'm pretty sure the Lamb Rogan josh was beef but it was still tasty. I do think it was more and of "Americanized" version of the cuisine but good vibes inside and would absolutely go back! read more

5 STARS! Okay, seriously--how on earth did I miss this place all these years while stuffing my face all over Edison?! It took my cousin flying in from Seattle (yes, the land of coffee and rain) to drag me to Ichings Indo-Chinese in Piscataway. Bless that cousin, because this was one epic recommendation. First off, the location is spot on--right on Stelton Road, surrounded by other shops and restaurants, so you can basically make a day of eating and shopping until you drop. And there's loads of parking, which in Jersey is basically the eighth wonder of the world. The vibe inside? Super cool! Nicely done interiors, comfy seating, and the kind of ambience that makes you feel fancy but not in the "I-need-to-wear-a-suit" way. And let's talk about the bar. OH. MY. GOODNESS. They have Blue Moon on tap that actually tastes like Blue Moon (unlike some places that shall remain nameless... cough Chili's cough). Plus, other great beers if you're feeling adventurous. The bartender deserves his own fan club--super quick, friendly, and always smiling. Now, the food--YUM. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but totally worth it for a "treat yourself" meal. And hey, they've got lunch specials on weekdays if you're ballin' on a budget. I tried some Indian-style chicken dishes, and let me just say, the Chicken 65 was so good it could bring a tear to your eye. Spicy, crispy, and perfect. Connected to the Holiday Inn, but with its own entrance, Inchin's Bamboo Garden was a delight. It's decorated with a relaxing feel. The food was delicious and they were able to modify the sauces for our taste. The service was great. It's next to a Holiday Inn so there's tons of parking. This is my first time having indo Chinese food but the quality of the food is definitely good. I got karahi with garlic naan and it was so good. It's been a while since I've had a karahi that's spicy and flavorful enough to hit the spot. It's made boneless, which wasn't bad for me because I didn't rly feel like picking bones at the time. The garlic naan was also very good and went perfectly with the karahi. We also got orange chicken which was decent but way too orangey. I think if they hadn't added the extra oranges which we picked out it would've been good but it was way too orangey. It was a cute restaurant but the tables and menus were so sticky. For the price of the food, I would expect the menus to at least not have food stuck on them. read more

My wife and I visited Inchin's Bamboo Garden for the first time and were so impressed. I'll be honest -- from the outside, I wasn't sure what to expect (you know how some spots don't give away the experience from the exterior), but the moment we walked in, the whole vibe shifted. The décor is beautiful, modern, and instantly sets the tone for a great dining experience. The cocktails were outstanding and clearly crafted with intention. I tried one topped with a wasabi/ginger foam (wish I remembered the name!) and the Hazy Tea cocktail that comes in a kettle -- both were fantastic. My wife ordered the Lavender Martini and loved it so much she got it twice. Now the food... amazing. We ordered the paneer dumplings, and I genuinely could have ordered them three more times. They were THAT good. The steamed dumplings were solid too. I got the Lamb Roganjosh, which was flavorful and came in a generous portion. My wife ordered the Side Chicken -- which I happily helped her with -- and the Chicken Biryani, which she enjoyed (a little spicy, but delicious). For dessert, we tried the tres leches and the Indian Neapolitan ice cream. The ice cream, especially the pistachio flavor, was incredible -- rich, creamy, and so unique. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. The ambiance, the drinks, the food, the portions -- everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back! Justin & Vikas waited on our table and won us over with their patient and attentive service and the right food recommendations. Yesterday I went to this place and ordered few indo Chinese items along with Chinese bhel and veg manchow soup. I did tell the staff to add any MSG in any of the dishes. When the dishes came out the manchow soup lacked flavor. It was bland and seemed missing a lot of stuff. The Chinese bhel was just fried noodles with few veggies and lots of tomato sauce/ ketchup. Very sweet and overpowering all other dishes. Definitely a no from our party. I did report this to the person who was serving us and the reply I got was " you said no MSG" so there would be no taste. This response was not at all expected and instead he should have been cordial enough to not justify the MSG. read more

Visited this fusion spot recently and loved the classy atmosphere. They have an impressive sauce selection and a very extensive menu, though it was a bit confusing when we were given multiple menus with some overlap. The cocktail list is elevated and unique. Service was pretty good. The Chicken 65 was absolutely delicious and stole the show. We highly enjoyed all of our apps and drinks. Unfortunately, the noodles we tried were so salty that we couldn't finish them, but we're definitely interested in coming back to explore more of the menu! I suspect they are either sorurcing their chicken from a very cheap supplier and compromising on quality, or the chef overcooked the chicken to the point that it was chewy and tasted like some other meat. The place just opened and I have already been here twice. Very good food and drinks. We had the tandoori achari Chicken, chicken Hariyali and Tandoori Shrimp. All perfectly cooked and tender. We also tried the Rogan Josh, Chili Garlic Noodle and Mustard chili fish. Every food item was made with love and tastes very very good. Would give it 3.5 stars if Yelp allowed half stars. Food was really good. The menu is very expansive between all the Indian and pan-Asian options. Sev Puri ($9) was very tasty and had a little bit of a kick to it. Thai Yellow Curry ($19 with $1 white meat chicken upcharge) was very good and had a nice mix of veggies. The flavor was layered, complex, and executed very well. We enjoyed that it came in a warming dish to keep it nice and hot. Paneer Makhani ($18) was solid, very tasty and a good portion size. We were told rice was extra, so we ordered one "Chinese" rice and one basmati rice and was charged $3 for 'Steamed Rice' and $5 for 'white Basmati Rice' despite them both on the menu for $3. The Indian food menu has a basmati rice for $5 but it's supposed to come with butter and cumin seeds. Overall it was a good experience. Just had a pretty bad experience at Inchin's south Plainfield, NJ location. We had reservation for 8:15 and got seated at 8:39. Food was absolutely average. We ordered lattice wrap but they gave us the center of lattuce and then changed upon asking. Throughout meal not one time server came and checked on us about food quality or if all good or if we would like to have some thing else. The food was manageable but service killed the experience. Really beautiful place with a broad and fun menu. They have lots of creative dishes-like paneer tacos. I enjoyed the tacos and my chili garlic noodles were full of flavor!
