I crave this place every week but I try and only beg my family to come here at least once every two weeks. I love the buffet, the waitstaff are so kind and friendly and the food is always fresh and kept a close eye on. So many different rice dishes to choose from and the naan is to die for. It's perfect. They have a lot of vegetarian options and the desserts are yummy and sweet. My favorite Indian kitchen currently! Thank you for providing such a pleasant dining experience. read more

So we ordered a take out from this place as we are craving for Indian food. It s our first time to order from this place. What a disappointment. Two stars is actually being generous. the lamb kebab was dry and was way way too salty. i was only able to eat two pieces of it and threw the rest. i even asked my wife to taste it and she agreed. there must have been a mistake in the saltiness as there is no way this is the regular taste. i also ordered 2 garlic naan but only got one. It was tasty though. I would not order feom this place again. read more

Today, I went with my wife to eat Easter Sunday lunch buffet and it was great! The food was great and authentic. The service was very friendly and helpful. It reminded me of the Indian food I would eat in New Jersey. I highly recommend eating here. You will get your money's worth. read more

Best meal I've had in a long time. Lamb tikka masala, chicken biyrani, and the house recommended chili chicken. Don't let the empty place fool you they had a lot of takeout while I was waiting for my order (covid is taking a hit on a lot of restaurants) just go. Support this place. I will be back! read more

Food was delicious and authentic. Mango lassi tasted good, but like a McDonald's mango smoothie. I didn't taste any yogurt. They insisted it had yogurt, but I couldn't see any evidence of that. I would have liked the food on a regular plate, but it was okay. read more

The one time I try a new place. Sooo disappointing. There is no taste in this bread hut flour and raw dough. My daughter ate a piece and literally ran to the restroom and was gagging almost throwing up. She's six and can eat garlic naan like it's ice cream. We lived in China and ate Indian food 4 nights a week and never tasted crap like this. It's literally disgusting. We tried to call and the guy said his chef had been cooking for 25 years. It's been a while since I've dined in but I have gotten food to-go a few times since my initial review. I came in for the Sunday dinner buffet this past weekend and everything was very delicious! I was pleasantly surprised to see chicken biryani on the buffet. It was perfectly cooked with enough heat to get me sniffling but still enjoyable to eat. Now that's the biryani I've been missing! The gulab jamun was very good but the kheer had a thin consistency. They bring out fresh naan to your table instead of leaving it out on the buffet. Thumbs up! Used Uber Eats to have food delivered , it was horrible The Samosas looked and tasted like they're day old The kebabs also seemed they'd been cooked a day before or so The food presentation was not good. I ordered food through Uber eats. Food was on time but taste is disgusting. Food ordered 1) Chicken fried rice - received with no salt and no taste. Felt chicken was stale. I felt sick after having this. Smells like old food. 2) Chicken vindaloo - Curry was very spicy and had too much of color. Even in this they had raw masala in it . It need some time to cook. Same chicken used in this. Not recommend and not worth the taste. This is not typical Indian food taste like. I was not even ready to give one start too read more

Came here for lunch buffet. A cost of $10.99. They have a variety of vegetarian and meat dishes. All were really good. The only exception was the service, I believe he was the owner. He did a good job of maintaining service by himself, I give him props. The only thing was that he served us like he didn't want to bring us extra Naan and when we went to pay he threw the receipt on the counter... Hmm I don't appreciate that. read more

Pretty decent Indian food. Expensive and I'm not sure the cost is 100% worth it. We got lamb curry, butter chicken curry and chicken biryani. The sizes weren't what we expected. Steamed rice comes with it. I feel the flavors could have been much more but the spice level (we got medium) was right on par. read more

I had a huge craving for Indian food so Ordered delivery with this restaurant tonight. Was Very very good. I definitely over ordered but glad I ordered such a variety so I could sample all of them. Ordered naan, Aloo paratha, chicken shahi korma,lamb curry, Aloo Gobi, and Aloo matter. Needless to say I am stuffed. My personal favorite is the chicken shahi korma and the Aloo matter and the Aloo gobi. Basically everything ordered was delicious. Highly recommend trying this place. read more

So so so good! We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Butter chicken and the palak paneer, each main dish comes with either rice or naan bread! Our server/owner was very nice he recommended we try their bread as well as an appetizer, he didn't let us choose he walked off and chose it himself. Both of those items were tallied on the bill even though he added them! He was great, extremely happy, great communication and conversation but halfway through meal got extremely rude (assumption that he got upset with one of his coworkers). Overall really great food, would definitely order again and go back multiple times, EXTREMELY fresh and authentic! Would be 5 stars for the food but 4 for the awkward service at the end and the items on the bill! read more

Ordered all the standard indian foods with a high heat level. Not one item tasted bad . It all tasted very high quality type of food. It was some of the best goat meat I have had at an Indian restaurant. The lamb was also very tender , not over cooked and I got a high portion of meat. Also the rice and noodle had a great texture and were cooked perfectly. This place also hAs some of the best naan bread. My favorite was the garlic basin. This is now my number 1 Indian place, for quality Authentic IndiN food. read more

Everything was yummy at the buffet; I recommend the buffet because you get to try a little bit of everything. The host was very polite, and friendly. Their naan was yummy! Not quite roti, but not bad at all. I left my wallet, and was able to retrieve it the next day in the exact same state I left it, so they are honest, too. read more

Updated from 3 stars to 1... Second try with pick up. I'm sick and my close by Indian choices are limited. I ordered pick up thru Yelp. Husband goes to get it. They again are horribly rude. Who are these people? Why are they so mean to their customers?! They have no idea who I am where my order is. They throw somethings from the buffet in a box while he watches. He finally gets out of there and home and I'm missing two items, the chicken they threw in the box is unseasoned and dry. Disgusting. I ordered tandoori chx, tiki chx, garlic naan and gulab. Grub hub refunded the missing items but I really should've pressed the whole thing... definitely will not be back: once again should've gone somewhere else. Hopefully a new Indian restaurant will come close by! Very rude during pick up. Thought I was an uber eats driver. Clarified I was there for pick up- felt like I was an inconvenience and despite not hearing me say the mango lassi was mine, proceeded to say "that's what I asked you" once someone else confirmed the order was mine. I had a baby in my arms- should've just gotten fast food and not had to take her in. I may update when I get home and try it, but not interested in returning it dining in person as of right now. read more

I live in an area where there are not many authentic Indian cuisine around. I saw the reviews from fellow yelpers and decided to drive 40ish minutes to try them out. They serve a variety of dishes during their Lunch Buffet. They certainly did not disappoint either! My personal favorite ones were the flavorful Chicken Tikka Masala and Kadahi Paneer of which went beautifully with their fresh, light and fluffy naan. The owners came around and offered great service! They were so friendly and kind to us the whole time. Definitely will come back again during dinner time to eat even more of their awesome dishes. read more

The lentil tasted like the Dead Sea because of how salty it was. My meal was under portioned, under spiced and overpriced. Nan was burned, best part of our meal was the veggie samosas. I should of known from the haunted house look on the outside of the building. read more

We LOVED this restaurant!! We are white and have NO IDEA what we are doing when it comes to Indian food, but the manager, Vic, walked us through the menu and answered our questions. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bread was to die for!!! I totally recommend this place!!! Oh!! A table of 4 went across the street and purchased 2, 6 packs of beer to drink w hi ile having dinner. BYOB!!! read more

Everything was very good. We started w samosas, lamb and vegetable. The crust was light and flakey. They were really tasty. We also ordered buttered chicken, palak paneer, goat masala and dal tarka. The meats were all very good, flavored and cooked. The naan was exceptional. The garlic one has slivers of garlic. If you like garlic, you must order. The amount of rice given is ample, which isn't always the case. Vic our server, was friendly- after we started talking and ordering. I would absolutely come here again. read more

I'm on the fence on this restaurant. The food is delicious, the desserts, and so is the mango lassi. However, the cleanliness and service need some major improvement. Sometimes you don't get naan, sometimes you go without water. As far as cleanliness is concerned, this restaurant is in dire need of an audit. The kitchen door was left open, and I've seen snot on the walls, or dried rotten food. With this being said, the temperature seems to be appropriate for the food. I would say if that doesn't bother you and have a stomach of steel, then try it. Otherwise, I don't recommend it. read more

My wife and I were extremely excited to find out about Indian Kitchen and we were not disappointed. We had a very good meal and excellent customer service. We really enjoy Indian cuisine and this is easily the best place in the area. We had Chicken Pakora as an appetizer - I have never seen it presented the way they present it, but it was very good. My wife had Chicken Tikka Masala which was bursting with flavor. Highly recommended. I go for the spiciest thing on the menu and I was told to get the Chicken Vindaloo which I've had at many restaurants. While it was spicy, I could always do more. The flavor was very good and something that I would definitely go back to. Just to try something different, I will be trying to Chicken Madras next (which at other restaurants, is the spicier meal) so I'll be able to compare the spiciness and report back. Ok we tried this place because my wife and I love Indian food and it's close to our house. When we walked in we weren't sure it was open, we were the only ones in the place. We ordered and within a reasonable amount of time they brought out our meals. If you don't mind eating on paper plates it's probably some of the best we've eaten. The garlic naan bread was the best we've eaten anywhere hands down. We will definitely return. read more

Holy heck o rover! The food was absolutely stunningly beautiful, and tasted amazing. Menu had lots of variety. Dining area was clean and spacious. Staff were delightfully funny and pleasant. This wa about a 25 minutes drive from our hinge, but in just 1 visit had become our go-to place for Indian. Just amazing. We'll be coming back, and we'll be bringing friends!! read more

Saffron basmati rice with marinated herbs and chicken. For desert i got the bengali sweets, which is a selection of 3 sweets of the day (not cakes). One was chickpeas. It was ahhhhhmazing. Not overly sweet....so good.

For the price, the portions were disappointing. Even my Nepalese friend, who usually speaks highly of this place, was surprised by how little we received. I understand the restaurant leans more toward Nepalese specialties than Indian classics, but for what we paid, it just didn't feel worth it. Overall, it's a shame. The food had potential, but the value wasn't there. I really wanted to love this place, but I don't think we'll be back. I can't speak for the interior as it was take out. And I will say despite my food complaint, at pick up, the staff were kind.

The chicken tikka masala was creamy and flavorful and paired well either the warm buttery naan. The spice level wasn't as hot as I thought, so I'll get hot level next time. The prices are comparable with local Indian restaurants. Since Palate is located in a shopping center, parking can be limited, however there are plenty of places to park. We enjoyed our food and time here and look forward to returning.
