This place is soooooo good. All of their food is super flavorful, and you can pick your spice level which is super nice for people who don't like spicy. Even the dessert was incredibly flavorful. The service was good too. The bathrooms were clean, and it is wheelchair accessible. Was looking for a good Indian restaurant in Tempe and this turned out to be a great find. Right when I walked in, I could tell this was the real deal. The service was really good, the waiter was very attentive and helpful. We got samosas to start which were really good. I loved the sauces that they served with them (can't remember what they're called). The chicken biryani had lots of chicken in it and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The chicken tikka masala could've used a little more chicken, but what we did get was really good. The only other critique I have for the tikka masala is that I did have a couple pieces of chicken that were a little overcooked, but the rest of the pieces were cooked perfectly. We also got the garlic naan which was so flavorful and clearly freshly made. The basmati rice was tasty as well. I've eaten at a lot of very good Indian restaurants back in Connecticut and elsewhere, so I'd say my opinion is pretty reliable. The prices for all of the food were very reasonable. So after going on Yelp yesterday to look and review my recent posts. I found this place in my suggestions. I had not found a good Indian restaurant in Phoenix and low and behold I decide to give this place a try. As soon as I walked in I noticed how clean and nice this place was. I was not expecting it at all. My Gf and I decided to order Chicken Vindaloo as well as the chicken curry with the garlic Naan. The food and service where amazing. The food came out quite quickly and was very fresh. I have included some pictures below to show you guys how fast it all went and how almost no food was left over. I had hoped this would be our new "go to" Indian dinner buffet since it is much closer than driving to our favorite spot in Gilbert. And, Indian dinner buffets are rare, though lunch buffets are common. While there was certainly nothing wrong with this restaurant, it didn't wow or impress us in any way. It was completely middle of the road, uninventive, main stream Indian fare. Here are my impressions... - Atmosphere: The atmosphere is very nice, it's clean and comfortable. The tables are set nicely with tablecloth's, silverware and glassware. The bar is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The buffet is very clean and well laid out. It's relatively quiet inside and overall very comfortable. I rate atmosphere 4 out of 5. - Service: The young lady who greeted us and sat us was very nice and personable. But that interaction was only about 30 seconds long. For the next 90 minutes, the server did his job. He wasn't overly friendly, not overly attentive, just kind of "there." No real complaints with the service and nothing special to speak of. I rate service a 3 out of 5. - Food: The food here was generally unremarkable. There was nothing on the buffet that isn't at our other favorite Indian dinner buffet, so I have experience with it all and love it all when done well,... nothing here was as good as I've had elsewhere. Now, this isn't a direct comparison to the other place, or my favorite lunch buffet, it's an objective review based on experience. And my experience with the food here tonight was that no buffet item "took a chance", nothing had that good, home cooked, grandma-made, full spice, Indian flavor that I love. It was decent, just very main stream and bland with no excitement. Quality seemed decent, temperatures were fair, not quite warm enough, but not cold. The biryani was the most bland and one of my least favorites I've ever had, I took a couple bites and left the rest. The chicken tiki masala was decent, again somewhat bland. The curry chicken was bland, boring and had bones which was unappealing. However, the Saag Paneer was very good, creamy with the right amount of spice and lots of cheese. Overall, I rate the food a 3 out of 5. - Conclusion: as they say "meh!" A clean, comfortable place with decent service and a reasonable selection of main stream tasting, not terribly exciting, food. My guest and I both agreed early on in this meal that driving to Gilbert to our favorite Indian dinner buffet as we have for many years is still the right thing to do as the food and service are far better. I had really hoped this would be our new dinner buffet choice, but it was not to be. Where to begin with this restaurant! I found this gem a few months ago because the had raging reviews. Indian food is one of those hit or miss and when I moved to the valley a year ago I couldn't find anyone that was doing it right... until India's flame!! It's a little family owned restaurant that is killing it with the flavor! I now live in Gilbert and will make the 30min drive for this place.. yes that is how good it is. They have an amazing buffet all day long!!! Great prices! My favorite dish is the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan.. yum! The food options were alright and the buffet menu is like any Indian restaurant. The plus side and the best of their food was the mango lassi, garlic naan and the rice pudding. Apart from that the rest was a mere alright. I was not impressed on the dessert side, they hardly had any dessert. Also, it's a fairly new restaurant offering buffet for lunch as well as dinner which is great as most Indian restaurants only do lunch buffets. Buffet pricing lunch is $9.99 and dinner is $13.99 They have a Salad Bar, 4 Non Veg Items, 4 Veg items, Desserts, & Fresh Naan (Plain/Garlic) the selection is not as extensive as other places but the quality is so much better. You can also order from the menu ~Chicken Biriyani $ 10.99 ~Chili chicken $10.99 ~Chicken tikka Naan $3.99 The chicken was succulent and fresh five stars for quality taste wise the dishes are good the chicken tikka naan has very little stuffing I hope they pay attention to that next time. Came for lunch and it was buffet self serve. Food selection is typical Indian food. Naan was hot and water refills were frequent. The tandoori chicken was cold, dry and tough. The temperature was well below the food safety threshold of 140 degrees. When I mentioned to the server he responded they lowered the temperature. Went for dinner and order their tandoori chicken. The flavor was really good but some pieces of chicken were over cooked/dry. Also ordered the mutton samosas and garlic nan, both were amazing and had great flavor! My friend order the chicken tikamasala at the spiciest level they offered and he didn't break a sweat haha. We happened to be in the Tempe area and made a last minute decision to try this place out. We walked in around 5pm and were pleasantly greeted by the host. We were happy to discover they had a dinner buffet (since most Indian restaurants only do lunch). The buffet included selections like chicken masala curry, saag paneer, tandoor chicken, Chana masala, vegetable pakoras, pakora curry, and a dessert selection including rice pudding (Kheer). There were a few other dishes that I can't remember. We were served a basket of naan. The buffet also included Mango Lassi which was delicious. I noticed that the spice level on most of the dishes was quite mild which I like. However, if you're looking for real heat, then the buffet might not be your best option. The food was delicious and rich. I forgot to ask them if they had menu items to order separately, but I was quite content with the selection they already had in the buffet. The prices for the meal were decent, although I wish there had been a different price for the children since they don't usually eat as much even in a buffet. My boyfriend and I came in for the first time last night and were thoroughly impressed. Everything was amazing! We started off with the chicken pakoras, recommended my our kind waitress. The Taj Mahal beer was very good, served extra cold and big enough for two to share. My boyfriend got a lamb dish which was excellently cooked, and I had the butter chicken-which was hands down the best butter chicken I've ever had! The basmati rice was delicious as well as the garlic naan. We enjoyed every single bite. Our waitress was the sweetest person and very willing to answer our questions about the food as we are pretty new to the cuisine. We had a wonderful time and will be coming back and recommending this place to all friends and family. Great job! read more

Don't be fooled by the location - it is in a strip mall like many other restaurants in the area, but the inside was really nice - comfortable, cute, and clean. It's casual, but still nice enough to have cloth napkins. The service was great. The server was attentive and the food came out promptly. And everything was delicious!! We ordered 2 dishes to share + an appetizer and some naan. It was plenty of food - we got full and took food home for lunch the next day. Their heat scale is 1-10. We ordered a vindaloo dish at a 7 and it was pretty spicy, but just enough to warm up your face while still being pleasant to eat. We also ordered a korma at a 5, and it didn't seem to have much spice at all. They also have a full bar (score!). I had a white wine that was tasty. They had 3 vegan entrees plus rice as well as their salad bar and fruit. They also offer vegan roti as an alternative to their naan bread. The food was hot and delicious. Not too over spiced or oily. Excellent new Indian restaurant in Tempe! I met up with some wonderful ladies for their dinner buffet, which runs for $12.99, a good deal. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with wood paneling, giving it a classy and home-y vibe. The bathroom was clean and had a gorgeous sink. Service was very attentive from the beginning with our waters being refilled and plates being cleared. We chose garlic naan for our table as we got up to the buffet. The buffet had a variety of dishes and offerings: mango lassi and chai to drink, raita, sauce bar, salad, desserts and 8 or so entrees. I pretty much tried them all: palak (spinach), daal, chicken tandoori, chicken tikka, lamb, chicken biryani, white rice, aloo gobi, curry, and a fried dumpling-like dish. Something had a kick of spice to it, but otherwise everything was medium. I only had one plate but could've gone for seconds, I just needed to remember what I liked best so I could get that again. The aloo gobi was on the cold side and lacked substantial flavor, and I didn't personally care for the mango lassi, but everything else was delicious. Forgot to order papadum, one of my favorite items at Indian restaurants, so will have to do that next time. I didn't try any of the desserts but we asked about their gulab jamun and the kind waiter got us two bowls to share, top-notch service right there. Lots of food for a very reasonable price, and there is a 10% off deal for checking in. It seems to be in a good location and I wish the family running it lots of success. I'd come back! read more

On my visit I order a few a la carte items along with the buffet. I love Indian cuisine restaurants that offer a buffet. The reason being, it allows you to try dishes you would not necessary be compelled to order. I am usually anti-buffet, simply because the waste at typical buffet restaurants is depressing. However, this restaurant seems to keep the loss at a minimum. The onion bhajis and bhatura are delicious. Wished that the bhajis were a bit more crisp, but excellent flavor. However, they were not served with the typical sauces, and were missed. Also, I wished the table was brought the papadum pepper crackers. Maybe these were something you only get when ordering from the menu, as the table next to ours had them. The food from the buffet was delicious, fresh, and hot. Very good variety, vegetarians vs non-vegetarian, etc. I know that Curry is generally cooked bone in, but I wished they pulled the meat from the bones when putting it on the buffet. Some pieces were very small and I had thought did not have bones after poking around with my knife, but almost became a unpleasant surprise. All in all, I would go back as the food was great and well priced. It seemed to be a family business and everyone one was kind and pleasant. read more

Service was great, everything out raita way. Ambience was pleasant, good place to chaat with some friends. Food was really satisfying, felt healthy and didn't immediately put me in a food korma. Are you veg or non-veg? Either way, doesn't mattar, all the options are great. Lassi if they can keep the quality consistent over time and the prices competitive--if they do I can imagine this place will become super popular and they could develop a loyal customer base.
