I can certainly see why Parker residents appreciate this restaurant as an alternative to the chain places that abound in this area, but when compared to Indian restaurants I've dined in elsewhere, this place disappoints. I came in for their lunch buffet, as this is a great way to sample lots of items for a great price! I was so bummed that my favorites, saag and chicken makhani were bad. As in, I left them on my plate bad (and I'm always a member of the clean plate club). I did find some items that were okay, but nothing was great. The meatballs ranked at the top, the chicken kabob and chicken madras were okay, too. Most of the chicken was dry, and some of it looked like the frozen precooked stuff (you know, with the little "grill" lines) that you get at Costco. Even the rice (which tasted a bit like plastic) and naan were meh. I did like my mango lassi drink. Servers were extremely welcoming and the space is cozy and decorated beautifully. However, I won't be seeking to fulfill my Indian food cravings here again. read more

I often order delivery from here using grub hub. The garlic naan and butter chicken are the two clear winners as far as I'm concerned, but I've yet to have a bad dish from them. I've heard the buffet is great, too, but I prefer to cram na'an and cream sauce down my craw in front of my tv, in my pajamas whenever possible. read more

I live in Colorado Springs and I drive all the way to India's Kitchen in Parker. No kidding. The food is that good. I've eaten at all the Spring's Indian/Nepali restaurants and none compare to this place. I only wish they had a location closer to me. Truth be told, at this point, I have not eaten Indian in the Springs for at least three years. (Btw, I used to live in India.) Lots of veg items and frequently even vegan options. I only eat veg, buy my Indian friend swears by any of the lobster, fish and shrimp dishes, as well. Naan always good. Love the broccoli, daal fry, mushroom masala and all the other usual veg suspects. The food is great! Love it.. however, I give the restaurant a 3 star review because the service was terrible and they charge 2 year olds $3.99 for the lunch buffet! Am I the only mom that thinks they shouldn't charge under 4 year olds? My 2 year old took a bite of food and didn't want anymore so he had his toddler fruit and veggie pouch at the restaurant. I say the service is terrible because we asked for more naan bread twice and never received any and we also asked for refills on our waters and that never happened either.. I'm pretty sure the owners are the same as the restaurant on County Line and Holly and we've never had to pay for our 2 year old there. I don't mind paying if he would eat but 2 year olds are so unpredictable when it comes to food. Just my opinion though. I will be back one day and hope to update this review because we loved the County Line and Holly location so much we would love to love this location as well. read more

After my previous low review the owner contacted me and offered a gift certificate and was very responsive. I never ended up using the certificate but I have been back to India's kitchen for carryout twice since my first experience and I can now say that I endorse their food. The staff is friendly and you can order online which is a bonus. The chicken madras (extra hot) is very good and just hot enough. We moved to Parker from the city recently and a server at another local restaurant recommended India's Kitchen as the best local Indian food in town. He was right! We loved everything we ordered--Chana masala, saag paneer and tandoori chicken. Lots of naan options (we chose original but want to try the other flavors) and the rice pudding dessert was great. Good prices on wine and loved the decor. Can't wait to come back and try the lunch buffet. Also great service--we came in on the later side on a cold night last month and were one of the last dining groups but the service was awesome. Can't wait to come back! read more

Let me preface that if there was an option for ZERO stars, they would have gotten it. On September 11, 2012 around 6:00 pm, my son and I went to India's Kitchen to pick up some food for dinner. When we arrived there, we were quoted an approximate 20 minute wait for our food. The hostess said that they were understaffed so the owner/manager was in the kitchen cooking all of the food because there was no chef. At this point, my son and I sat at the bar and ordered dinner for the family. The 20 minute wait turned out to be more like ONE AND A HALF hours!!! Nobody checked on us to even offer us water or even tell us how longer the food would take to prepare. When it was time to pay, I noticed that the bill was incorrect and I was overcharged on the Channa Masala by $5. I told the waitress/bartender and she informed me that there was nothing that she could do about it because the owner/manager was cooking in the kitchen and she didn't have the capability of adjusting the ticket. Rather than making a commotion and waiting EVEN LONGER than we already had, I decided not to do anything about it and just paid the additional $5, even though even the bartender/waitress I was clearly being overcharged. When we brought the food home, we were ravished and started eating. Soon, we noticed that my husband and son's chicken was completely raw in the middle. COMPLETELY RAW. When this happened, I immediately pulled the receipt out and called India's Kitchen. A male answered the phone and I immediately told him that I want to speak with the owner or manager of the restaurant. He identified himself as Ashok and said that he was the owner AND manager of the business. I told him that I had been waiting for an hour and a half for our food to be cooked and then when we received it, the chicken was completely raw in the middle. Surprisingly, Ashok did not apologize but instead, said that, "Yeah, sometimes that happens. What do you want me to do about it"? I was completely appalled at what he said. I told him that #1, I wanted my money back that I spent on the meal. #2, if my son or husband got food poisoning, I want the company to pay for the bill associated with it. He said, "Absolutely, that's fine". But then, just as quickly as he agreed, he then backtracked and said that it's Indian people like me that give Indian restaurant's a bad name and that I didn't DESERVE any type of reimbursement. (Whatever that means.) Then, the conversation took another strange track and Ashok said that anytime in the future, he would give me an exact duplicate of the meal that we had gotten this evening and we would not be charged for it whatsoever. I informed Ashok that we would never again be dining in his restaurant again and that I wanted my money back. He then told me again, "that's not my problem" and then hung up the phone while I was in the middle of speaking. At this point, I thought that there was a bad connection and tried calling back 3 more times to the restaurant. All 3 times that I called, I heard somebody pick up the phone, heard the background noise of a restaurant and then another dial tone. I then realized that Ashok actually had the audacity to HANG UP on a paying customer. By this time, I am completely infuriated and get my keys and drive to India's Kitchen with the raw chicken that I was given to eat in a clear, plastic ziplock bag. Upon arriving to India's Kitchen, I told Ashok that I wanted my money put back on my Discover credit card. He then told me that he is very proud of what he did and that he did nothing wrong. I asked him again to give me back the money that I spent on this meal and the second time I asked him, he then gave me a receipt that said that the money I had spent on the meal was credited to my account. It should be noted that while my son and I were sitting at the bar for an hour and half waiting for our food, we had nothing but time to watch the staff at work. While we waited, I noticed that all of the free starters (appetizers) that people were being "recycled" and whatever Table #1 didn't eat, the same food was given to the Table #2. This includes tamarind chutney, mint chutney, papur, etc. Furthermore, apparently, they ran out of glasses because they were so busy. So, they took a couple of dirty glasses from the rubber basket of dirty dishes, rinsed them off with water AND NO SOAP and used them to give to people who just arrived at the restaurant. This is completely unacceptable behavior, especially coming from the OWNER of the business. It is reprehensible and inexcusable. If a business is like this in our hometown, they need to be shut down. read more

This is possibly some of the best Indian Food in the greater Denver Area. Had the Lunch Buffet on Saturday. 2 ppl = $17 total. The food was DELICIOUS. Flavorful, rich, a lot of variety. They bring a basket of fresh naan to your table. The house hot sauce is stupid good. Lots of vegetarian options. The buffet was constantly being restocked, contrary to an earlier review. Went with my vegetarian friend and he was flippin thrilled. We both left super satisfied and stuffed. I have had a couple of issues here in the past couple of months and I will think long and hard before I go again. Sadly, as they got busier quality has suffered and is very inconsistent. If you order ANY version of chicken, be very careful that it is cooked thoroughly. We got some TWICE that was raw in the middle. Unfortunately, we had takeout, so couldn't simply send it back. I called about it on the second occasion and was told "sorry" by the manager but nothing was offered to make it right and we have been regulars for a long time and have sent people there (won't be likely to do that again, though, since I like my friends). Second thing you should know, according to India's Kitchen, Tandoori chicken at lunch is not the same thing (or even close) to Tandoori chicken at dinner. VERY CONFUSING. Even worse, if you order Tandoori murg (Hindi word for chicken), that is yet a third thing. The one at lunch is leathery and flavorless and one of the dinner ones is OK (can't remember which is which) but again that raw chicken is unsafe. Will be sticking to veggie if/when we go again. read more

They have an excellent assortment of wine, and I like their cocktails. If you haven't already, try the Taj Mahal beer, its goes very well with spicy food. Now, about the restaurant. It a quaint little place, and I like the ambience, but the entre courses are just meh. The flavors are waay too mild, and doesn't pack a punch. Here's another part about the briyani's: Mushrooms are not native to India, and so it really isn't part of the Indian cuisine, and their briyani is full of mushrooms. I love Indian food. Before we moved out here I'd probably eat it 3 times a month at different restaurants in the area we lived. Since we moved out here we've been looking for a new favorite Indian place. This is not it. Food was all bland, and some of it was under cooked. We ordered Sag Choley, two orders of Chicken Tikka Masala (one hot, one mild) and some Naan. The Chicken Tikka Masalas were both seriously lacking in any flavor at all. The pieces of chicken weren't very tender either, like you'd expect from marinating in yogurt all night. The Sag Choley tasted like it didn't even have any salt in it. Again it had no flavor. The chick peas were also totally undercooked--they crunched almost like peanuts as we ate them. The Naan was super dry. I've gotten better Naan from the grocery store. Bottom line is they no flavor, and they can't even cook a bean correct. Skip this place. read more

I'm a huge fan of Butter Chicken, but not all Indian restaurants make it good. India's Kitchen does! Their happy hour special on Sunday is a great deal too. Two beers for $5 (Singha or Tiger). Also, receive 25% off your entire check from the Entertainment Book. The service was well above average and the ambiance was on par with most Indian restaurants: very Indian. This is a location that gives you their crackers and three sauces (two sweets and one savory) as a bread course. I can't remember what they call this, but it's good. I can't give this place 5 stars, because that would be to go against another Indian restaurant called Taj Mahal in Hawaii which, if you compared the two, it would blow this place out of the water and is truly a 5 star place. We settled in to a nice ambient dining experience with excellent servers who were helpful and courtesy. We ordered three entrees, with me ordering the saag paneer with a side of onion kulchas. The saag was prepared well as it had the creamy density and perfect texture. The onion kulcha was excellent as well and went well with the saag paneer. Overall it was a great dining experience with the food coming out fast and we had no waiting time. I really liked the decorations as well since they fit in perfectly with ambience. We loved the food and are really excited to have local Indian restaurant. As San Francisco Bay area transplants one of the this things my husdabnd and I miss the most is the varitey of cuisines and this restaurant is just as good as most Indian restaurants we used to order from there. I got the lamb vindaloo and Ted ordered the chicken jelfrezi. The lamb was a little tough but the sauce was very flavorful and I used the very delicious naan to eat every last drop. However the chicken jelfrezi knocked the pants off the vindaloo and I spent most of the dinner looking longingly over at Ted's side of the table. The drink special that night was a beer we hadn't tried before and it was delicious. At this price (2 meals plus drinks I thinks put us out about $$40 before tip) made this a win win dinner. Why 4 stars then instead of 5??? Welll the dinner tooook foreeevvvverrr. We went midweek and when we arrived the place wasn't crowded. We wanted to catch a movie after dinner but the service was soooo slllooowww that we missed it. Big bummer. However our waitress looked new and the manager noticed and really did her best to remedy the situation so perhaps it was just a fluke. Wow, so impressed by India's Kitchen! My husband and I went with some of our best friends last weekend and absolutely loved it. None of us have had much Indian food before but were excited to dive in and try some new things. First, the atmosphere and service are fantastic and our sweet waiter gave us great recommendations. After the complimentary crackers and sauces (which were great), we started with the fried onion chickpeas and cheese naan. Both were awesome - the chickpeas tasted like onion rings and we loved them! My husband and I shared the chicken tikka masala and lamb boti kebabs and really loved both. They were flavorful and spiced well (we tried the medium and very hot levels of heat and I think hot would be perfect next time). We tried our friend's rogan josh dish which was also delicious. The guys tried a few Indian beers which they liked and hadn't had before and I had the tamarind margarita which was really tasty and different. An added bonus was that many items on the menu were already gluten free (really important to one of our friends) and there were homemade yogurts and cheeses on the menu as well which is awesome. This is one of the newest restaurants in Parker and FINALLY we have Indian food! I love, love, love indian food and this restaurant didn't disappoint. I went by myself one afternoon for lunch and for about $12.00 I got their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, including all I could eat Naan (YUM!) and an iced tea. I am so glad that Parker's 1st Indian restaurant is not a total bust. I left so happy! I will definitely be back! Been here many times, always liked the food, and after tonight will never go back. Stood outside to wait for my food after I was shown the ticket (so obviously she knew who I was and what my order was) then drove 25 minutes home only to discover that I had been given a completely wrong order. Called the restaurant and was actually yelled at by the same person and told that I had "taken the wrong food". No, you knew exactly who I was yet handed me the wrong order - and you were dead slow, that was the only order brought out the entire time I waited. So I got yelled at and told it was my fault instead. Makes total sense. Especially after I put a $20.00 tip on a $45.00 order. Yeah, I'll be getting this charge reversed off my credit card and we'll be finding a new Indian restaurant. read more
