This is one of the newest restaurants in Parker and FINALLY we have Indian food! I love, love, love indian food and this restaurant didn't disappoint. I went by myself one afternoon for lunch and for about $12.00 I got their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet, including all I could eat Naan (YUM!) and an iced tea. I am so glad that Parker's 1st Indian restaurant is not a total bust. I left so happy! I will definitely be back! We came to this restaurant after a morning of hiking. Sure, we were a bit sweaty, but didn't think our outdoorsy appearance warranted the sort of disgust displayed on the host's faces. We honestly weren't sure we would be seated. The underwhelming welcome aside, the food was average. Their naan was tasty, but the buffet lacked in variety. Seasoning in the dishes could have been kicked up a notch. The service was average to slow on beverage refills. There wasn't a very nice vibe in this restaurant. Last night my husband and I stopped in for dinner and very much enjoyed our meal. The service was great. We wanted to split an entree and our waiter suggested the tandoori grill which more than enough for us both and was extremely well spiced. The wine list is short, but has a nice range of choices. I could not have been more excited about an Indian restaurant opening in Parker but I was disappointed with India's Kitchen. I've been only once, for their lunch buffet, and it was just okay. It's $7.95 per person and not crowded at all at lunchtime, so a good way to grab a quick lunch. That being said, I was there catching up with a friend for 2 hours and they didn't shoo us out so that's a plus.. I'm not a big lover of buffets in general and have found that I'm usually so-so with Indian buffets so maybe I am being too harsh. I'll give it another try for dinner but sans kids. With entrees running an average of $15 or so, this would make an expensive "casual" meal for 5. read more

Fabulous! Great tasting food, great service, and a nice atmosphere. Even the music was more appealing than what you typically hear in an Indian restaurant. I had the seekh kabobs with the garlic cheese naan. It was plentiful and ridiculously good. I am leaving quite satisfied. My boys shared the $9.99 kids' delight which provided them with a smoothie and they were quite content. Wife and I get this to-go about once a month, it's excellent food! I've had a wide-selection of the menu. Generally great but have had a couple dish that weren't the best. First time here my wife got the Lamb Saag and gets it every time now. My favorite is the Madras Chicken. The spices are excellent, I like hot spices and they do a great job. Went in on Friday, January 29. We were seated immediately, the restaurant had three other tables each with 2-3 people. We were given water and papadom and ignored for 20 minutes. Then, our order was taken; the food did not arrive for 30 more minutes. The food tasted good, but the wait was ridiculous and no one checks on you to see if you need refills on water or drinks. Since we waited so long, I assumed our food would be piping hot, it wasn't If you like to wait, the food is fairly good. Went there on a Sunday for the buffet. The place is very nicely put together and the staff was very friendly and courteous. But the star of the day was the food. This has to be some of the best authentic Indian food I had had in a long while. The buffet was freshly stocked and well maintained, the meats we tender, and the sauces will make you drool by just smelling them. I last tried this place a couple years ago and decided to give it another try during the lunch buffet. The food was pretty bland and not hot (more like room temperature or cold) which I don't get because the buffet was turned on and seemed hot but the food temp was not hot. I just live this place. Consistently well prepared food and I love a place that makes it hot when I order hot!! Standouts: goat biryanis, malai koftai, and anything madras. The buffet is great, not spicy at all but they have a chili sauce so you can spice it up. The meatballs are so good! All day happy hour on Sundays. My barometer for Indian food is saag lamb. Saag has to be creamy and the spinach soft. The lamb pieces have to be tender. I can't usually stand heat in my curry, either, so it has to be mild and yet still tasty. India Kitchen knocked it out of the ballpark. One bite, and I just couldn't help the moan that escaped my lips. Throughout dinner I made little sounds of pleasure and I ate every single scrap of curry on my plate. The bowl, I scraped clean. This was a mistake, because I am now nursing a distended belly and regretting eating so much food, but it was so good I just couldn't stop. Absolutely fantastic saag lamb. Since my last review, I have returned once (courtesy of the owner) and it was a better experience. The food tasted better, but something the owner said in his message bothered me. He said that he couldn't keep the Gulab Jamun b/c it wasn't doing so well in the buffet and that the health department required the cold table (where the gulab was sitting) to be below 41 degrees. Well yeah, when you serve something meant to be warm, cold and frozen it's not going to taste good. Who said that it had to be kept in the cold table? Why not put it in the warm side of the buffet tables?!?! I've been to multiple indian buffets where the gulab jamun is served warm. Just saying. I think they should consider putting it back on the buffet, but served warm. I'm sure other lovers of gulab jamun would be more apt to return. I went to India's Kitchen in December 2012 for dinner (not the buffet). Overall I was pleased; outside of Downtown Denver I feel there is a lack of good Indian food, so it's nice to have this place nearby. I ordered vegetable samosas and chana masala. I asked for the chana masala spicy, but I would say it was at most medium spicy. This could just be personal preference (I like things hot!) but I would ask for slightly spicier than you would like. Overall I was satisfied with the food and the service. Nothing incredible, but nothing was wrong with the place so it's a solid four star restaurant. read more
