Really enjoy their suits, how they fit and their price point. That being said the customer service here really takes away from the overall experience. I have gone in on a handful of occasions (both with an appointment and without one just to browse) and initially their reps are very cold towards you. Rather than greeting guests, they will avoid connecting with you. Every time I have had to initiate the conversation and felt very unwelcome. The one exception to the service is Maddie! My partner was in the market for new suits so we decided to check out Indochino (inside UTC mall). The first time we went we got there right when they opened and the salesperson opened the door but no greeting. We walked around the store to get an idea of the process and the salesperson never approached us, we had to approach him and in a very non-welcoming way he said we need to make an appointment. Second time we had an appointment, we walked in, no greeting by the two people there (they definitely saw us) and we had to eventually mention we had an appointment. We ended up being seen 30 min past our appointment. The process of customizing the suit was straightforward and he got the suit in a few weeks which was nice and suit was exactly what he wanted. My partner wanted to get two more suits (there was a discount if you bought two) and when we walked in for our appointment Maddie greeted us immediately and helped us out. That was the best experience from start to finish. Suits have been great, customer service overall outside of Maddie (sp?) lowers the experience satisfaction. read more

I have been purchasing Indochino suits since 2009 and this has been the worst experience by far-I have been close to asking for a refund before and I had to for 2 different orders. First order-saw they now offered suits for my wife, so I recommended she get one here for an upcoming work event. She ordered the suit towards the beginning of October, it came in 2 weeks, she went in for a final fitting and it fit horribly. The first style guide wasn't comfortable working with a woman so we had to wait for him to find someone who worked there who knew how a woman's suit should fit. I understand they are primarily geared towards men's suits, but there are many ads for their women's lines with female mannequins so you would imagine they would've trained their staff properly. Finally someone helps us, and tells us the suit will be ready in 2 weeks. Two weeks comes and goes with no call saying it's ready. At 3 weeks I call to check, no one answers the phone. I call multiple times a days for several days, leave messages, send emails, no reply. Finally I get someone to answer the phone and they say they were busy due to Black Friday sales but they are looking at the suit and that it is ready. We go to pick up the suit and the staff member spends 10 minutes searching for it, coming back multiple times to check the name, color, etc, as he can't find it. Finally he finds it not on the ready rack. The bag had NEVER BEEN OPENED. This should've been a red flag that we should've asked for a refund. The tailor came out and explained that he never opened the bag because he knew there wasn't enough fabric to lengthen the sleeves the amount they needed to be changed, and some of the other changes were too much for tailoring as well and would require a remake. Apparently this store has been without a manager for months and because of this no one there had the authority to approve a remake so the suit just sat there. So $900+ later she had two suits that had to be remade and a work event less than a week away. She walked across the mall to WHBM and the first blazer they gave her to try on, off the rack, fit perfectly-what she had been imagining Indochino was going to turn out like. During this time there was the Black Friday sale on 3-bundle of shirts and so I bought 6. They arrived a couple weeks later and are HUGE. Literally fit like a bathrobe, a good 12+ inches of extra material in the chest even though these are Indochino-taken measurements. I go to the showroom for a fitting and told they would have to be remade. Understandable, so I wait a few weeks for new shirts-these are still too big, maybe 6 inches now. I go to get them tailored and am told 2 weeks. Once again 2 weeks come and go and no call. 3 weeks I call and no one answers the phone. Eventually a few days later I get someone on the phone. Apparently "one of the shirts had thick fabric and so they had to order a special needle, it would be ready in 2 days". I go to the showroom to pick up the shirts. In this time my wife's remade suits also arrived, she went in for tailoring and has been waiting weeks for fixed garments. We walk in and the staff member is able to find her suits. She tries them on and they still don't fit correctly, the armholes are off and the waist is awkwardly pinched. He can't find my shirts on the rack though. That is because they aren't ready, they are still being worked on, because the store has been out of many colors of thread for at least 6 weeks according to the tailor. It is one thing if my order was delayed and someone called to tell me that, but no one ever reached out to me even though there was a note in my file to do so because I had called to check the status of my order. It is another to be completely silent hoping I wouldn't notice or care that they blew past the promised 2-week delivery timeline. What makes me especially disappointed in Indochino is that on *multiple* occasions someone flat out lied to me-telling me that my order was ready when they knew for a fact that it wasn't or that it would be impossible to do so. The tailor there has been as helpful as he can be, but says that his hands are tied on things like ordering a remake because the store is without a permanent manager who is the only one who can? But then the only way to get a remake done is to show up to the showroom and demand one. I have asked for a refund on both my wife's suits [4 months since ordering] and my shirts [2 months since ordering] because I do not have faith that they will ever be able to make the orders right anytime soon. read more

Still don't have my suits after multiple rounds of fitting, shipping and alterations. Michael was the best person to work with personally but by the time he got a chance I was burned out on the process. It takes 1 hour for sizing, 10-20 days for them to make it, 4-7 days for it to make it to your house, another hour for final fitting then 10 business days for alterations. I did this THREE times and still no suits worked out for me. Started September 9th with this process an it's the end of November and I don't have my product. I spent 1600 total. Ended up asking my bank for a reversal and Indochino provided an outdated tracking to get the money back from the bank. So now I don't have the money or the suits that I paid for. All out of options. If you get to work with Michael he will probably get it done right the first time. Otherwise just go to a good local tailor or maybe SuitSupply. read more

I've been buying Indochino suits since they came out. At first it was great quality, then I saw a dip both in quality and presentation. And now, they seem to have come back swinging. Like better quality then ever. First of all, I was just wandering and saw this particular store in La Jolla. I thought, why not have my measurements done by them now (7-8 years after my initial measurements). So I walked in and requested. 5 minutes later, Grant proceeded to do the most thorough measuring I could ask for. He made the sample suit fit perfectly. I think the measurements took at least 45 minutes, really taking his time to get it perfect. Rad. So I ordered a shirt. Shirt came, its perfect, wore it to a wedding. Fit so well, felt so good, I ordered a new suit. Suit came. It's perfect. I know I can rely on those measurements to get me a perfect fit on whatever I order. So I just ordered a 5 pack of shirts (Black friday deal is goood). Anyway, im off the fence, Indochino is back in full force. read more

Not happy with the service, product, and experience with Indochino. I am getting married next Saturday with nothing to wear!!! In January, I purchased 2 tuxedos from the UTC location. One for brother and one for me. In February we received them and his fits, mine was a lot off. I went back for the final look retouch Monday last week and requested a rush as my wedding is in 3 weeks. I called this Wednesday and was told to come today after 6:30 as the tux will be ready for pick up. I came and the tux has not even been worked on. Ruben, the employee had to look for it only to find it was not even started on yet. (Ruben is also the person that did the initial measurements, final look measurements, and who spoke to me tonight). Both him and his manager Kai were rude and not helpful at all. All they kept saying, "leave it here and it will be ready". Some of the worst customer service I've received at any store. My father and I had a scheduled appointment this past Saturday. We had 2 different associates helping us that weren't very helpful throughout the suit customization process. It was our first time visiting this store and our first time customizing a suit so we were expecting to be ushered through the process. We weren't offered much advice throughout the process in choosing certain options - and there are tons of options to choose from. The worst part of this experience occurred when checking out. We had a discount code for $50 that was to be applied to our purchase but there was a 15% off Spring sale going on. My fathers associate applied the 15% off (which was the better deal). I had completed my checkout with my associate and wasn't aware of this discount until my father came over to ask me if it had been applied instead of the $50. My associate said that the credit card had already been charged and wasn't going to be able to adjust the pricing anymore. His words were..."I could give you the $15 out of my pocket if you really need it." We were SHOCKED to say the least and did not know what to say immediately. This has to be one of the worst and most unprofessional customer service experiences that my father and I have had. Customers should expect to be treated with respect and be ushered through this customization process especially when spending so much money there. read more

I had a pretty bad experience here. I think it possibly may have been due to my incorrect choice for my visit, but when I arrived to my appointment I was pretty embarrassed by the greeting. I had my mom and my fiancé with me. BTW my mom was visiting from Georgia, and really wanted to be a part of the process. It meant a lot to me too. My dad isn't around, and her opinion means a lot. We were hoping to pick some fabrics and get the process started to get the perfect wedding suit. I was turned away immediately. I was told that I should come back 60 days from the wedding. I'm sorry, but I don't feel comfortable showing up two months out expecting to make all of my decisions and get everything correct within that timeline. I understand wanting everything custom to where your body is in that time, but I do feel if I were guided and bit to make some earlier decisions and come up with a timeline that I was comfortable with I could have really loved my experience. Overall it felt very impersonal, and even though I had made my decision on where I wanted to buy my suit. I don't want to go back and face that rejection over picking the wrong appointment. It felt terrible. I am trying to find other options after placing my bets on them being "My" craftsmen. I would never send anyone to this business. It was so disheartening. I think these "custom" suit makers should treat the men like they are getting ready for the most important day of their lives. I definitely felt the opposite of that. From start to finish, the experience at Indochino has been nothing but a disaster. Ordered suit June 16 for an upcoming wedding in Oct 14. End result: receive all but 1 of the necessary items for the wedding. With close to 4 months lead time, I did not receive all required items for my wedding causing me unnecessary stress and headache to finding the remaining item for the wedding. To this day, I still don't have the last item(undershirt) from the company(Oct 20,2023) where I have requested a refund from the company of $99.xx. Going in order of dates: Ordered suit on June 16,2023 - Waited 10 minutes before anyone came and offered me any service. I had an appointment as well for suit fitting and setting up the order. There was no other customers so it was strange why I had to wait over 10 minutes. It was also unprofessional as the employees were arguing among themselves as there later on were other customers in the store. Received suit on July 1,2023 - 2 week lead time. Suit came back where both the shirt, pants and undershirt did not fit at all. Shirt was too long, pants were too loose and undershirt was too loose. Clearly the suit fitting done in the store was not done well/ alteration service used by this company does not work well together to get a good fit the first time around. Dropped off suit for #1 alterations on Aug 3,2023 - Service was sub-par, waited 10 minutes before anyone came and offered me any service. I had an appointment as well. Took about 20 mins to resize again and off it went to the tailors. Receive pickup notification on Aug 17,2023 - Came back to the store to pick up the suit. Everything(suit, pants) but the undershirt came back in an acceptable fit. The undershirt was cut way too short on the bicep and needed to be re-done. Had the undershirt shipped back to the tailor for #2 alterations. I was provided communication that this would take 2-3 weeks. From Aug 31- September 19, I reached out via phone to get an update on my order until finally 5 weeks later I get an update that the order was lost. September 19 - Five weeks later after calling multiple times,an employee finally confirms that the order was actually lost and I would need to come in and do a refitting. This was unacceptable , wedding was within a few weeks and I couldn't depend on this company to get what I needed within the time frame at this point and get a proper fitting, so I kindly ask for a refund. Fast track to this month, Oct - No response from Indochino in regards to a refund nor any type of compensation for my lost undershirt order which I still do not have in my possession. I have tried multiple forms of communications to this company , over the phone, email and in person and no actionable course of action from this company to make right on their end on receiving my product. At this point, this company is practically a scam in my book in terms of whether or not you'll receive your product in an acceptable state. read more

I walked in the other day and was approached by some KOOK who talked down to me like I had never worn a suit before. Literally everything he said was condescending. The icing on the cake was when he started showing off his own suit, which looked like something a teenager put together, as if it was supposed to impress me. After less than a minute of talking to this DOUCHE, I walked out. The kid had a scab on his nose, like maybe someone had kicked the sh*t kicked out him recently. No surprise there I guess...
