One of my favorite coffeeshops in SA hands down. I've been to pretty much every single shop in SA and this ranks in my top - a different decor from most and a more chill vibe I would say. It's located near UTSA so you'll see a lot of UTSA students coming in and out. OUTLETS/TABLES: All of this is super important to me since every time I get to a coffeeshop, I'm there to study! It's a rare day (never) when I'm not studying haha. So this place has about 4-5 tables with plenty of outlets next to each table. Each table holds 4 stools and then there's a nice couch seating area in the back as well! There's also plenty of outside seating if the weather is nice. The music is low key and the whole atmosphere is perfect for getting stuff done! WiFi connection is always strong. COFFEE/FOOD: So I am in love with the lattes here. They are quite different from most coffeeshops because they have a secret menu which is available on certain days and runs out pretty fast as the day goes on so get there early to grab a cup of it! Their specials can be seen on their instagram and they're usually - cereal milk, maple syrup, cinnamon toast crunch, fruit loop, fruity pebbles - really unique stuff they're doing with the coffee. I've only had their CEREAL MILK LATTE and it's divine! Also if you're a sucker for green tea, the GREEN TEA LATTE is fantastic here - one of the best I've had.

As for FOOD, they have an assortment of donuts and I heard their breakfast tacos are pretty good but they run out early in the morning so you'll have to get there early to try it. PARKING: Plenty of street parking around the shop...

and also apparently the parking garage behind the shop is free (which I didn't know!) HOURS: And unlike a lot of shops in SA, this one is actually OPEN LATE! Woo! Great for students. CONS: I think the secret menu of different coffee flavors is a genius idea but I do wish all the options for the day were on a chalkboard near the actual menu. I think it would be great for them to have a daily menu and then just cross out what flavors have already run out. Because now, you just have to ask the front what their specials are for the day. Can't wait to come back again and try their other flavors and food!!

The perfect chill with friends, relax with a book, enjoy a cup of coffee type of coffee shop. Indy has been a staple in my life for the last few years and I will forever appreciate the quality coffee, the calm vibes and the kind souls that work here. The service is always on point and the products they serve are always superb. Easily a top 5 coffee shop in San Antonio.

It is a peaceful environment with friendly faces. The matcha latte and the Americano is the best we had ever had that we had to order a second cup! We had the avocado toast and sausage croissant that was decent. Did I mention how much we enjoyed the drinks! Definitely going to come back for the drinks!

came on a sunday, there was a collab happening! delicious el paso style burritos and then went inside for a coffee. i had a coconut vanilla oatmilk latte, it was absolutely delicious! i love how strong the coconut flavor was, very natural tasting and was not sweet at all. limited seating but its a small coffee shop so of course i sat outside with the beautiful weather we've been having. great service as well!

Their cups and inside are so cute! They have a rotating cereal milk latte with different cereal and this time they had strawberry frosted flakes which was so good in the latte! The drinks weren't too too sweet and I also got to try the cookie. I had better cookies before but I would go back for the latte. There is limited seating inside and the tables are quite small so it might not be the best place if you are looking to work with a lot of room. But it's great for hanging out and the workers are friendly.

Ordered ahead online since I was next-door eating breakfast. This was my first time ordering from this place. Since the order information said, I was going to get text updates, I waited until the estimated time to go check on my order. I walk over and don't see any cups that look ready for a to go order. Eventually, I ask them about it since it's been quite a while and they say that they don't finish the order until you arrive for it. I wish I would have known that because I did wait a long time and even finished my breakfast before I could get my order. Otherwise, everyone was nice and my drink was good. I tried the hojicha latte. It is an urn roasted green tea. I have never had it. It was pretty good. It wasn't overly sweet. You can customize your order. The coffee shop is cute and has seating inside and outside. There's parking available for free behind the coffee shop in the parking garage. They also sell food, but I didn't get to try it

Earlier today, I visited @indycoffeeclub for coffee and more before I went to Costco for gas. I had the Vanilla Cold Brew with lactose free milk. There were several breakfast options. I bought a strawberry and a blueberry cake donuts, and a ham and cheese croissant all to go. It was all very good. @indycoffeeclub is a participating business with the AAPI Month Passport. I got the hojicha latte($6)! It had a really nice earthy, roasted flavor. It is comparable to the hojicha lattes I tried in Japan! There are a few high table top seating and some couches in the back. I think if you go during peak study hours, it would be hard to find a seat! You can buy the Matcha that they use in the store, but they do not sell the hojicha powder.

This is an updated review. *Post covid era* Yhis place has seemed to slow down and with that has perfected its signature lattes like the cereal ones. They have also seemed to change up their beans however this is only based on what I remember how hardcore it used to taste. They seem to have adapted to the college students taste here next to UTSA. The insides of the same as it was back in 2018 or so but the flavors are more fun now while still having coffee good enough for their original clientele. Over a good balance of niche and mainstream flavors profiles. Would give it a 4.5 now however since no .5 can be added I'll update it to 4 start from a 3 (3.5).

small but very cozy! such a vibey place !! across from UTSA which is a plus when you need a study break (they do close at 3pm though) I had a latte with their fruity pebbles milk and it was unexpectedly Amazing ! Well balanced between sweetness and coffee taste ! Also had their matcha and it was a little too powdery but good! The guy who helped & recommended me the fruity pebbles milk latte was such a cool & nice guy! The parking was not the best and it was kind of hard. Great little study/coffee place ! Somewhat busy on a Sunday at 9 am. I was promptly attended to, when I got there. I ordered a mocha and an oatmeal. My friend got some kind of black tea and avocado toast. I absolutely love this place. I am here almost everyday to fulfill my never ending need for coffee. The owners and all of the staff are as nice as can be, and always bring my coffee out to wherever I am sitting, even when it's really busy! I highly recommend getting the cereal milk latte, or the Sean Pecan-ery if they are currently making them that day! Definitely a different take on a latte, which I love! And if you are a fan of iced cold brew coffee, get the dirty brown. It is always my go to drink if I am not sure what I want, AND it has their homemade vanilla in it too! I am VERY happy that I have found my go-to coffee shop in San Antonio. Finally a coffee shop that is not located in the downtown area! read more

Their new brick and mortar space is dope. The coffee is even better than what they used to serve in the truck. It's out of the way for most folks but it's definitely worth the trip. Local kinda fell off when they started using their in-house roasted beans so this place is the best bet right now. They brew Parlor. It's a very well renowned coffee shop / roastery from NY. 1) It's hard to find. It's in a newly built off-campus student housing complex on UTSA blvd. It's on the bottom floor of a building that's trying to be a work (or study)-live-play complex. You need to park in the apartment's building's parking garage and walk over. 2) Pastries are ok. Sorry I didn't try them but they are from La Panaderia, not Lorraine. It's just the matter of personal preference 3) Non-stardard drink names. They list Cortado as Gibraltar. I've seen this overseas but not much in the US. If you are looking for flavored drinks ala PSL, this is probably not the best place. A gibraltar with double shot runs 3.75. 4) This place is NOT hipster. It's an authentic coffee shop that shows dedication to serving good coffee. Why does everyone in this town call everything new and quality hipster? C'mon, this is 2015. Probably better than Figure 8. Fairly comparable to Flat Track. Five stars in comparison to other shops in town. Def. one step down from spots like Heart, Sightglass, and Verve. read more

So I don't know how limited Indy's menu actually is. I think they are actually making a lot of other drinks and keeping them on the down low. I hear about the fruity pebbles infused cappuccino and the coco loco. Today I ordered a pecan pie latte which was just as delicious as all the other drinks I've tried. None of these drinks are on their standard menu. I can't handle this secret menu stuff!! They seem to offer a lot of drinks here, I just wish they were more obvious about that. I think it would be cool if they at least had a chalkboard with new drinks they are concocting or drink specials/ suggestions with these drinks that aren't up on the standard menu so people know about them. I guess for now I'll just have to ask if they have a drink like so and so. read more

I have been here twice and have loved it each time. Their coffee is amazing!! I love how fresh the taste is. The menu is not to over powering it's nice and simple. Staff was super friendly! The barista recommended the dirty brown and it was phenomenal! I love that is super close to school and home. It is definitely a great study spot. I will definitely be coming back for more coffee it is much more worth it than Starbucks or any other coffee shop!! read more

Love Indy coffee so much! The staff is so friendly and the coffee is delicious. The only downside is the location. They moved from a food truck to a store front at UTSA. so you have to fight the college crowd traffic if you want a cup of this coffee in the morning. read more

Definitely a place for the local hipster to go get coffee from. The atmosphere is really relaxing and "chill". But the house brew coffee tasted like hippy took his or her dirty feet and stuck it into water and heated it up. So note to everyone, unless you dress your coffee with sugar&creamer. I recommend trying something different. read more

Vibe: The gaggle and I first walked in and felt welcome with open arms by the Barista (long hair dude, pretty cool). Music didn't really seem to fit the crowd that was in there and was also a tad bit loud. This is very much a college student destination as it is right outside of UTSA. Overall the feeling is comfortable but quite. Friendliness: Barista was a very cool guy, seemed stoked to get me my cup of coffee. Coffee: Pretty good cup of joe. We got the house blend and the "Dirty Brown". Kinda crazy as that was my nickname in highschool. Price: Prices were very fair, $3.25 for a decent size of good black coffee. Showed up 5 mins before closing because we didn't want to go to a Starbucks and the baristas were totally chill about it. We ordered a bunch of hot chocolates for the kids and they loved it - especially the steamed milk artwork on top! Excellent cafe with a really good college vibe. read more

Coffee it's pretty good. Didn't like the food. Tried couple things. But I should have known it's food that goes with coffee. Not actual restaurant. I was looking for more "egg and i" place. Little expensive but very convenient since it's close to UTSA. UTSA only have fast food during summer. Would come back for coffee. Not food. read more

YAYS: -Atmosphere. This place is very trendy, hip, and reminds me of the coffee shops in Austin. -Seating. Enough space to come in groups, but since it's near UTSA I wouldn't recommend coming here at night bc it'll most likely be packed with studying students. -Wifi is available. -Parking. Lots of parking behind the building in a garage. -Drinks are unique but you'll probably end up having to ask what half the menu is.. The menu is on the wall with just the names of the drink and no descriptions. NAYS: -Pricey. Drinks were definitely on the higher end.. If it wasn't for the Cereal Milk Latte (only served weekends) I wouldn't splurge. -Merch. I love their merchandise, but $60 for a sweater? :( read more

This place is seriously one of my favorite coffee shops I've ever been to. The drinks are awesome, the atmosphere is very mellow, and the people that work there are super friendly and know their stuff. Having just moved from the east coast where most of my options include Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, and more Dunkin Donuts, it's great to have a new *local* favorite. Thanks guys. read more

For sure my FAVORITE hangout spot. i love how chill it is, it's perfect for going and hanging out with friends or sitting and writing a 5 page paper. the entire staff is super nice and friendly, the coffee is probably some of the best i've had in SA, (i drink a lot of coffee) and last but def not least, the food, from the savory to the sweet, i have yet to try a single item from the menu that i don't like!! Overall an awesome place, if you're thinking of trying it you definitely should. 10/10 would recommend read more

Great drip coffee and the biscuits & gravy on the weekend brunch menu are worth the trip too! Never had cilantro and peppers on b&g, but it works well on the homemade biscuits. My wife had the avocado toast which was delicious too. Lots of toppings. read more

The staff were quiet and not very engaging, but the quality of the coffee and food was excellent, which is why I chose to try the place. I highly recommend the avocado toast as it was one of the most flavorful I've had The blueberry pancakes with a touch of cinnamon were excellent as well. The latte with an extra shot had a wonderful flavor. I will definitely return. read more

Loved this place when they were in their coffee truck and love this place now! This coffee beats Starbucks and Local any day of the week. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five, is due to the hours of operation. I'd love to have a dirty brown before heading to work. Hours of operation are Mon-Sun 0800-2000. read more

I've been looking for a place like this for a long time. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome food and even better desserts. Even the apple juice is cute! I'm so sad that I found this place one month before I move to Ohio but I will be here every time I visit home. The only complaint that I had was that there wasn't enough "hash" on my plate but Texas sized portions should be blamed for that. Don't miss out! read more

Indy Coffee is a unique hipster coffee shop that offers friendly employees and a nice cold brew. Since the area is really close to UTSA, a lot of college students do frequent the establishment, making it feel small. The layout could be re-worked to make better efficiency of the space. The beverages are decent and come in a unique ceramic cup. The price range is moderate, making it affordable for the area. read more

Love the atmosphere of this coffee shop! I ordered a double shot almond milk latte. I find most shops steam almond milk at too high of a temperature, but not this place! I was in an out, but I would recommend this place to come study and chat with friends. Great customer service. I plan on returning again! read more

So this place was pretty legit. We ordered their vanilla lattes and they were warm and tasty. I also order their avocado toast which was very satisfying and my bf ordered their pear scone which had just the right amount of sweetness to it! Highly recommend this place! read more
