Came in this morning to this little coffee shop for a quick pick me up. Loved the vibe in here. The coffee shop is attached to a local church which I thought was a great idea. One of Best matchas that I've tried in San Antonio! I think about the strawberry matcha often! Service was quick and coffee spot was clean and aesthetic. As all caffeination inspired businesses should, they jumpstarted my day with a little joy. Cute, but simple location. Very clean and calm. For my first visit I started off with a chai latte. Thank you for serving with with whole milk and omg a chai that's actually spicy! So nice I did it twice. Friendly and welcoming staff looks like they're enjoying the community as it wakes. Give them a try. Lord knows there are plenty of us in this area to help them thrive! I scoured review photos until I found a coffee shop that still served in mugs. Please excuse my not aesthetic picture, but this place definitely had the cutest ambiance! I was looking for somewhere local to grab a coffee before I went to get my oil changed, and I saw this spot on google maps. The barista was super friendly, and they made my latte quickly. The latte art was on point! I ordered a Carmel latte with oat milk, and it was the perfect temperature to drink and very well balanced. They only offer whole milk or oak milk, but there's no up-charge for oat which is refreshing! I can't wait to come back here to get some work done- it's the perfect spot to study or do a project. Plus I noticed the wifi password was clearly displayed- which I love! Definitely a hidden gem in this area. read more

If you don't know what you're looking for, you would probably pass up this place. They do have their name at the side of the building, but not the front. This coffee shop is small, but has enough seating for the clientele expected. They have a limited menu, but they do have something for everyone. For those that do not like coffee, they do have tea. They also have baked items. We had our Bookclub meeting here and it was a perfect location. If you are expecting a larger group, this may not be the place for you though. I had the strawberry Matcha. No complaints for me. It was sweet, but not overpowering. My friend had their cinnamon roll and thought it was very delicious. The baristas were super nice. They even brought out one of our drinks. Parking is available on site, but it is shared with the other businesses. I don't foresee any issues finding parking though. Prices are up to par with other coffee shops. read more

Tend Coffee is the coziest coffee shop in Alamo Ranch, serving high quality coffee and ingredients, while handcrafting their own syrups, cold foam, and the like! I love this spot because the coffee is really good & the atmosphere makes you want to cozy up and read a book. It's a place where you can slow down, or get some work done since it's one of the more quieter spaces in the area. The baristas are all super friendly and welcoming and they just add to the place! First time here and it was 1000/10. Drinks were perfect, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the staff provided friendly service! The cortado was smooth and the sweetheart iced latte was my boyfriend and i's favorite drink. They use Minor Figures oat milk which is a personal favorite that I don't see anywhere else. Their coffee is also very high quality- one in which you don't have to go downtown for. They also make their syrups in house which I loved. We can't wait to come back already! A MUST GO TO ! The vibes, the staff, the coffee! Everything was beautiful. Shout out to Natalia for making this experience I got their famous "sweetheart" which is caramel and vanilla cold foam if I'm not wrong and I added honey and let me tell you IT WAS GOOD! If you're on the sweater side I definitely recommend. I was a little confused at first because it was inside a church but it's at the corner building when you get there. This is a hidden gem I am so happy to have found this spot, it's amazing! They have the best matcha in San Antonio and the staff here is so sweet. I love that they make matcha the traditional way and it's delicious. They also make the syrups in house and it makes such a big difference. They have pastries too, I got an almond croissants. Came a couple Saturdays ago around 9:30 AM. The barista was super nice, asked for my name and how my day was going. The coffee was so.good. It is located inside/ shares space with a non-denominational church which I believe the coffee shop is a part of (baristas, employees, owners are from the church). The area for the coffee shop itself is nice and clean and aesthetic looking. One long community table and some side tables as well. I would come again! read more

Very charming little coffee shop inside a church. There's a very small sign by the door, which is currently the only visual you have to indicate you have arrived at your destination. As I write this, I am currently trying to separate my migraine from my experience, because my migraine had absolutely nothing to do with the quality of this spot, but it did its best (worst) to ruin my experience. Immediately when I walked in, a couple of patrons looked up at me and gave me big smiles. In turn, that made me smile. The barista was very nice and helpful. He explained what the Sweetheart beverage was, so I ordered that, a cortado, and a pumpkin muffin (that he warmed up for me). The cups and plates are absolutely adorable, reminiscent of Curator Coffee. The barista was very proud of his "Powerpuff Girl Heart" latte art - it was very cute. The flavor was also pretty good, it had a bit of a bite to it. The Sweetheart was also delicious, with a very thick and foam on top that refused to integrate into the drink. (It kept separating haha) The pumpkin muffin also hit the spot. The disposable wooden cutlery was also cute. This small space has a minimalist, but distinctly crisp, clean, and modern-feeling decor. Homemade candles sit on the table (and are for sale), a plant here and there, and some nice, unobtrusive instrumental music. The primary seating is a huge table with many chairs, and a few seats in some corners. By the time I left, more folks arrived and sat nearby, sharing the giant table. (a little too close for my comfort, there were plenty of chairs on the opposite side.) As with many coffee shops, it's out of my way to get to, but I'm glad I went and experienced it. It's sure to please anyone who lives on that side of town. read more

This was my very first visit here, and it certainly won't be my last! I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great place to relax or focus. Well this was a nice surprise. Easily missed from the street I had to drive all around just to end up at the entrance where I completely missed the coffee sign flag. I'm so happy I was able to find it because I have one of the best cortado's and something called Sweet Amy (not entirely sure but it's pumpkin based with a sweet cream top) it is once of the best sweet creams in town. Their Housemaid syrups are delicious. An easy five-star place with the environment to match. Service was top tier. The place is clean and aesthetically minimal. Must try coffee shop. read more

My friend has a glutten allergy so the lady made sure to recommend options that would be best for her. My coffee was a ice white mocha with lavender and blackberry. It was really delicious and not overwhelming on the coffee or sweet. I would come back here just for this drink again. We also ordered these bacon, egg bites I thought were decent and easy to walk around with (would be good with some sauce). I definitely would come back here again to try more coffee or even the cute coffee flights they offered. Looking forward to the next visit.

As I said, everything was phenomenal. Unfortunately, there is one issue we cannot look past, although we have tried. The bagels are delicious, but they are the absolute wettest, slippery and slidey-est bagels I've ever had in my life. The meal is spent looking down and hoping my beloved or other guests don't see the schmear up to my nose. By the end, we are having to reconstruct our bagel, as it looks like roadkill on the table. It is not a user error, as we eat slowly and carefully. I even have friends who refuse to come back here because it was the messiest eating experience of their lives. It's so unbelievably messy. We have to rinse off in their bathroom before leaving. I have to take my rings off and put my hair up. It's a commitment, one we are not strong enough to make at this point. Delicious, but.... we must bid you farewell, Boss Bagel. Godspeed.

All the proteins were cooked perfectly. The real winner was the lemongrass Banh mi with once again perfectly proportioned ingredients. We also ordered the fresh spring roll, which never came but wasn't missed except that they did try to charge us for but did remove them. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.
