This service was for a entry door replacement - front door, frame and trim replacement, and security door re-install, with all gaps sealed, for a standard sized door. The frame, door, and security door are installed, but not without issues. The main door feels like it is hitting on the bottom of the threshold every time we close it, and I ended up having to order and install the last piece of weatherstripping, which took some trial and error since a standard 1 inch thickness caused the door to not shut and made it very difficult to engage the deadbolt. The interior trim, as pictured, is visibly stained upon installation on the upper right corner - didn't spot this on the night of completion, but pretty obvious now in the light. The security door is misaligned - one side is flush to the trim and frame, while the other has visible shims placed which causes the right side (when looking out) to protrude at an angle. Not sure if this protrusion is the cause, but the security door deadbolt is difficult to latch. You have to push/pull it in as you lock it and even then you feel resistance, and I've now noticed that each time I unlock it, it makes a noticeable bang sound. While the doors technically operate, we fully expected our newly installed, new main door to work flawlessly, the security door to operate smoothly, and for the new trim to look new. This unfortunately is not the case. The project took a day longer than expected (work commenced on Friday 8/22 and he had to return on Monday 8/25)...the door was left with sizable gaps around the perimeter exposed to the outside. Trevor left a couple packs of insulation so I could "cover anything that bothers [me]," which was pretty much all of it. To avoid pests or rodents entering our home and maintain effectiveness of our air conditioner over the hot weekend, I ended up installing all of the insulation around the door. On Friday it was unfinished, and upon reflection, today it still feels like we are left with an unfinished job that we need to continue work on to fix. We hired out for this job for expertise and experience in door installation, but we got an incompletely done job and guidance on how to do the unfinished parts (insulation, weatherstripping). If I had known that I would be doing some of my own door install work I would have gone with a different vendor. I understand getting overwhelmed and physically exhausted from working all day outdoors, but at the end of the day this was the job that was agreed to, and we did not receive the promised outcome. I also feel his responses to my concerns were unprofessional (examples: "I don't even know anymore man I cant think." "What do you want me to do, I can't work all night." "I left some insulation so you can cover anything that bothers you.") I am not the cause of the difficulties encountered on the job, and expect a higher degree of professionalism and project execution/quality standards.

First he said it could help for $95 and up then when he realized it was just an alignment he was too busy and booked.

Hi, my name is Trevor Maclise, the proud owner and operator of Infinity Lock & Door. During my time working for another locksmith company, I learned much about the industry and how it operated. I quickly realized that this industry lacked standards and had corrupt values. I saw how this negatively affected my customers and wished there was something that I could do about it. Over time, my passion, skills and knowledge increased greatly. After founding Infinity Lock & Door, I discovered my niche in door repair and installations. I later added commercial property maintenance and access control. Now we are qualified to complete a wide variety of projects for both the Commercial and Residential space. It was a very pleasant experience when Trevor helped fix a complex old front door lock today. The lock was 30+ year old and I messed it up while trying to replace it myself. Just looking the pictures sent over, Trevor recognized the type of the lock and promised to fix it the most economical way (-- as it is for a rental house). At the same time, he also provided an estimate on the worst case scenario. After coming, Trevor carefully disassembled the lock just to the point where the problem could be diagnosed. He quickly fixed it with re-key process and lubricated the whole thing. Now the key works very smooth. His charge is fair and reasonable. Thank you, Trevor! read more

Kern completely violated the agreement and instruction, and stole my original doorknob/lock and will not return it to me, and will not even return my requests for a contact back, with these requests coming from both me and from the maintenance supervisor with the property management company. They must return my property to me that they never should have stolen, and another company will have to correct all of this as per my original instructions that never should have been violated. Update Oct 28 2025: This company refuses to return the stolen item, and is not addressing the other issues which include but are not limited to the fact that they "deviated" from the instructions and terms of the work order at their own whim, and did so without the required contact to the property manager for owner approval of any possible changes. Update Oct 29: KK continues to not explain why they discarded the perfectly working original doorknob after wrongfully removing it, all of which they did in defiance of the work order, and without authorization, why they stole the owner's property, why they did not follow the work order instructions and terms of contacting the management company supervisor as agreed if there were any issues or questions, and the solution offer has been declined for weeks and they do nothing to address the issues that they continue to ignore.
