Chocolate Cherry's, S'more's, Licorice, Dark Chocolate Almonds...Variety to choose from.

For the Chocoholics, Ingeborg's is a must. We stopped here just to look but we walked out with a few hand picked chocolates and gift boxes. They have a large variety of chocolate delights on one side of the store nicely displayed and an inviting Ice Cream Parlour on the other, very charming. I'm not at all a chocolate connoisseur and I don't know what the best term would be to call the young lady that was working here who helped us...the Chocolatier?? I'm not sure but it sounds close. She knew exactly which chocolates to offer us based on our sweet tooth, which are creamer or richer in flavor. On top of her chocolate knowledge, she was super sweet and patient. The Almond Clusters here were my fave. The chocolate and almond ratio was balanced and the chocolate wasn't too sweet. Perfection. Yes, a definite place to treat yourself with a few handmade chocolates.

We stopped into Ineborg's Danish Chocolates during our anniversary trip to Solvang, and it ended up being one of the sweetest parts of our weekend. My fiancé and I wandered in, totally drawn by the smell of chocolate, and I'm so glad we did. The shop has that cozy, charming vibe that fits Solvang perfectly. The chocolates themselves were incredible...rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. We tried a little assortment (the truffles were my favorite), and every single piece was so good. I actually forgot to take pictures of the chocolate counter and the ones we bought because we were too busy enjoying them! If you're ever in Solvang, I highly recommend stopping here. Whether it's for a special occasion like ours or just because, Ineborg's makes the trip that much sweeter.

Awesome spot with delicious treats! They have a bunch of different chocolates. They let me sample the dark chocolate. They charge by pound and it's $64/lb. I got 4 different chocolate and my total was $16. The raspberry truffle was alright. The inside is filled with an oozy raspberry which balance with the chocolate. The milk chocolate peanut butter cup was good. The chocolate wasn't as rich, but the peanut butter filling was nice. The milk chocolate rocky road bark was so good. It was the perfect consistency with different textures from the marshmallow. The dark chocolate truffle was my favorite. It has a soft filling inside and tasted rich. Definitely a cool spot with lots of chocolate options! I'd say that some of the chocolate is more worth the price than others.

Excellent chocolates and friendly people. The aroma is fantastic when you enter. All the chocolates we tasted we fabulous. One person in our group got the variety pack and we didn't find any we didn't like. A few other places were similar, but these were the best!

This is a fun find! We typically get candy for our boys as a treat when we visit Solvang. We've been to a handful of places now but were pleasantly surprised when we found Ingeborgs! It has a cute set up with a soda fountain bar. They serve ice cream and handmade chocolates. They have candy through out the whole store as well. Overwhelming for our boys, in a good way! So many choices. Bonus they have a gumball machine.

Delicious ice cream counter serving creamy and sweet flavors. Some from Thrifty brand. Large place to grab a quick snack and relax. Service is great!!! Learned from the proprietor an interesting saying: "Happy Queen, Happy Kingdom!!!" How true!!! Prices are very reasonable.

    So many choices!

Visited around 3p on 2/20 and was greeted by a friendly young lady. She knew which items were popular, which were her favorites, and could describe each one. That really helped my wife make some selections. She packaged the 9 or 10 items we bought into a cute little black box. The quality was fantastic. Pricing was fair. We will be coming back for more next trip!

I was there during the Saturday of the 2025 Danish Days with my boyfriend. We are a bit older. My boyfriend is hard of hearing and a retired self proclaimed bean-counter, I always get concerned he'll scare the kids working. These Gen Z work so hard, so professional. Best attitude. A young guy with dark hair diligently tried to make my banana split perfectly and put the cherry on top so it wouldn't fall off. Everything tastes so great. It's the only time of year where I just eat sweets without thinking. I've got great-grandparents from Denmark. On one side and this is how I celebrate. Oh yeah! We were hot and I wasn't feeling that great. But as wrong as it is, I started feeling so much better after I ate that sunday and had a bunch of water sitting on the stool in that place. And everyone is so nice there. People come in and bark orders at those kids. And they just take it. My boyfriend wants to go to other places to get sweets and I don't. I just want to come here. No, matter where we go, it's always not as good as this place. They have a great atmosphere, they have wonderful food, they have the right attitude, you just can't fake the attitude. I'm pretty good at seeing if you're being fake. I'm glad to see that the younger generation has spirit of i'm gonna do it the best to my ability. I've seen it in tech where people just don't want to give it all. But i've seen everybody in this place where they just give 110%. I would say if you're hiring for attitude.Come here and hire people. This place rocks. I was here Danish Days 2024 and 2025. If we go to Danish Days 2026 than we will be back here again ordering your goodies.

Danish Chocolates is definitely on the pricey side at $60 per pound, so I had high expectations. I was recommended the dark chocolate raspberry bar, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown--it had an aftertaste that reminded me of cough syrup. Considering I spent $15 on just two small items, I was really hoping for better. That said, the chocolate-covered chocolate chip cookie was actually really good, which is why I'm giving three stars instead of two. I just wish the recommendations had been better because for the price, I wanted everything to be worth it.

The chocolate is expensive and not better than average. We bought some of the imperfect chocolate at a discount price to get a deal and compared to the regular priced items, the taste was all the same. Their service was horrible. They employ young people with no training or experience with customer service. They cannot calculate change, they cannot quote their store hours, and they cannot explain anything about their chocolate products. They do make their chocolate onsite so at least it's authentic artisan chocolate. Small and slightly dingy - plenty of other cute coffee and chocolate shops in town.

While in solvang over the weekend we stopped by to get chocolates. While choosing a few things my husband noticed they sell hot chocolate. So he bought one. It was probably the best hot chocolate I ever had in the USA... tasted so good. No powders no water. Just real chocolate and milk ... delicious. A must try when in the area. It's a nice treat specially on a cold winter day. Prices are a bit high like around $60 a pound for chocolates but they are special. You won't find it anywhere else Friendly customer service.

Every visit to Solvang includes a trip into this shop. Sometimes it's been for some ice cream but usually it's to have some chocolate. My favorite choice is the dark chocolate raspberry truffle. And that's exactly what I got on my latest visit...well, actually, I got two. It's always a good idea to have one for now and one for later. The young woman at the counter was quick to help and was most pleasant. My only quibble is the cost; their chocolates are delicious but pricey.

Very quaint and lovely chocolate shop in Solvang. I've been here a few times in the past. I usually get their smooth yummy ice cream and delicious chocolates. However, this time around during my recent visit, I didn't get anything because I just came in here to reminisce on my previous visits that I had with my family. There was only one young gentleman working in the shop at the time. There were no customers in here either which I found strange because this place is usually packed with people. Anyhoo, my visit was very short. I was tempted to buy something, but I didn't. I'll have to come back here again and offer my patronage and support the next time I'm in Solvang. I'll see you next year!

The person who assisted with my purchase was efficient, not really forthcoming with details but sufficient. The shop is clean & all the goods are neatly arranged & organized. It smelled to chocolate which was a delight. The candied apples looked very tempting. Not really impressed with the taste & for $19 for 4 pieces, definitely not impressed as I was with Läderach.
