I signed up for a contest through Target. Win a 3 day vacation. I get a call from the prize center still have the voicemail. Congratulations You have won the InnSeasons resort vacation please call us for information on how to receive your prize. I talk to 2 people both excited as I am that I Won. Terminology is WON PRIZE FREE! She lets me know I need to pick up prize due to value. I need to go to a location in the cape 50 min away I must bring my spouse and children. There will be fun activities for the kids and food and drinks. If you go this weekend although it's snowing you will also get a gift card to your choice of restaurant. Ok so we make the appointment. Before letting me go asks me a few questions regarding address and one red flag income must be high! everything else emails seem legit. The lady on the phone acknowledges the snow that weekend and the 50 min drive but she lets it be known it's important I don't miss this or prize can be taken away. They describe it as a tour of the property with some info and food activities for kid. Drive was bad and dangerous we arrive and notice we are not the only ones there are about 30 tables full of ppl speaking to sales or waiting. We the "prize winners" get put in a private room. Closed in with sales lady. Hot chocolate is brought for the kids and some crayons and paper. Already I feel duped as one of my kids is 10 and doesn't much care for coloring. Sales lady starts of strong do you know what you signed up for? I say I signed up for a free vacation I was told I won. She makes a face and says it's not a free vacation you need to go through a 40 min explanation maybe longer and after you finish you get the vacation. I said I feel duped and this was all very deceptive. To be brought on the premise of you won a free vacation bring your kids along it will be fun. If you're thinking about signing a contract with InnSeason Resorts, take my advice and run in the opposite direction. This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. We've asked, begged, and practically groveled to be released from our timeshare contract, but they couldn't care less. Not once, not twice, but so many times that we've lost count. And do you think they even tried to help? Nope. They just keep slamming the door in our faces. We've knocked on every door possible--agencies, the company itself, you name it. But nothing. Absolutely ZERO accountability on their part. They don't care about their customers, never have. It's like they lock you into a contract, throw away the key, and laugh all the way to the bank. We aren't giving up, though. We will shout this from the rooftops if we have to. Everyone needs to know what kind of operation they're running over there. Don't fall into the same trap we did. Two years ago, I was fresh out of college, full of hope, and in a relationship I thought would last forever. I won a "free" hotel stay -- all I had to do was attend a promotional meeting. That's how they rope you in. That's how I got conned. Enter Michael Harty, the smooth-talking salesman who preyed on our love of travel and our naivety. He pitched a dream: "vacation ownership," luxury getaways, international travel for a fraction of the price, endless availability, and a magical booking portal through RCI that would give us the world. Spoiler alert: NONE of that turned out to be true. Here's the reality: * Their New England stays never have availability, which I was told would be easy to book. * The website travel website, RCI, is a dysfunctional nightmare, full of empty promises. * In TWO YEARS, I've only used it TWICE. Yet I'm throwing $400/month down the drain for absolutely nothing. * When my boyfriend and I broke up, I tried to cancel. They said I couldn't. Period. * I tried to split it, as Michael Harty claimed I'd be able to if we broke up. They said I'd have to buy the entire thing out first -- over $13,000. * Now I'm stuck. A young woman with student loan debt, ambitions to go back to school, and a massive financial burden strapped to my back for NOTHING. They sold me lies. They played on my emotions, my relationship, my dreams. And now I'm paying for their manipulation every single month. I feel sick every time I think about it. The guilt and frustration is overwhelming. This is NOT just a bad purchase -- it's a straight-up scam dressed in resort photos and false promises. STAY AWAY from Inn Season resorts! my spouse and I purchased the vacation club ownership two years ago when we first got married thinking we would love to travel around New England as we had just moved there. it's been two years, we've not once utilized the services, tried to use it in New England and nothing was available; tried to use the RCI benefits and once again couldn't get anything booked. All the while we were calling trying to get out of this trap with no avail. finally, one night i received a call from Bill who said if we came to this meeting we could discuss the different options for exist. We get there, talk to this guy who tells us he has to get his supervisor, have we tried calling corporate and trying to get us to use this. The supervisor comes over, asks us again we told him we're not using it we're not going to use it he doesn't like my tone apparently and at this point i'm sick of talking in circles and frustration has run high i'm losing my cool, he tells me to stop being condescending and gives me the most shit eating grin he could muster, i give him his face back. he then gets up and tells me im the same age as his child and he wouldn't allow them to talk to him like that, great? i don't care dude tells us if we want help we asked the wrong person bc bill just does marketing. great, we'll continue to call corporate and tell everyone what a big POS this company is. read more

Not what I expected. First the positives. The resort is in Falmouth, walking distance to the Martha's Vineyard Ferry. The town of Falmouth is close by. I stayed in a studio unit, clean and updated Cape Cod style with a kitchenette including a stovetop , microwave and small refrigerator.  Two small windows, no view,  view of other units, darker than expected. . A good space for 2 with a full size bed, a queen would have fit so I dont know why they had a full. There is no elevator, so the upstairs units are reached by wooden steps, there was no offer to help with luggage, but I honestly did not ask. This is one of 3 InnSeason resorts that I know of on the cape. This is across the street from a small harbor It is a timeshare resort. The others are closer to the beach. It is on a  busy street in season, with expected street noise at times. I have lived in NYC all of my adult life and that was fine for me. Also across the street is a Raw Bar/restaurant. It is EXTREMELY loud on the weekends. It becomes a club at night by with pounding music, strobe lights, lasting until after 1am. The crowd spills onto the lawn onto street just in front of the resort. At least 50 people in front of our room after 11pm . Partying with yelling, screaming, laughing, chanting,  motorcycles revving engines accompany the music. It was truly unreasonable and unbearable. The TV and or AC in your own room could not compete with it. Police came just before 1am , it quieted for 15 minutes and then resumed again. I dont know if it is like this every nite during the week in season, but this was Friday and Saturday experience Memorial Day weekend, probably worse than most nites. There is a pool that looks nice, others were using it, lounge chairs and tables available. read more

InnSeasons is a scam. The sales people told us we were signing up for a vacation club, not a time share and offered us all sorts of perks that they were going to pay for. We signed all the paperwork and made a down payment. The sales manager said there was a CD in the folio he gave me with all the "legal" stuff, which the state of Maine required. When I got home and started to read it, I found out that we had indeed bought into a timeshare at the "resort" in Ogunquit Maine. Instead of a number of days we could use it, we got a number of "points". One of the first sentences in the legal agreement was to the effect of "please have your attorney review the legal documents". Of course, the sales people didn't say anything about having an attorney review the documents and if we had requested to do so before signing, we would have lost all the "available today only" perks. We exercised our 10-day rights under Maine law to cancel and bailed. Since this is essentially a timeshare, you will have a snowball's chance in hell of getting out of it if you decide you don't want it anymore. If you were a member of a club, you could cancel your membership. You cannot with InnSeasons. Like the Hotel California, you can check out any time you'd like, but can never leave. read more

I liked my studio room with kitchenette. The location is across from the beach which I could see from my room. The road is in between hotel and small stretch of sand, however, the road is quiet at night--at least during off season which is when I stayed. There is an indoor pool. I would stay again here, especially because of the kitchenette. read more

I have been with Innseason for a long time and in July they we joined their concierge program by adding 30,000 points to out program. This cost is about $6,000. The whole idea behind the program was to get discounts on hotels and car rentals. You can accumulate points in order to pay for travel in the future however what they do not tell you is they have a $200.00 annual fee and they add services charges to the purchase of airline tickets. After posting a review to Facebook I received a call from Erin. She was extremely rude and brought up past conversations I had with her about waiving late fees and interest charges and stated I am not going to get away with my complaint this time. Do not sign up for this program as it seems like they have a lot of hidden fees. read more

We stayed in a 1-BR suite in the Captains Quarters. The room was great - jacuzzi and fireplace in the room, hotel is located right on the water, there is an outdoor pool, and staff seems nice enough. I could see myself staying there. The only thing I was disappointed about was that there is no free wifi, which seems like a given these days. However, I do NOT recommend going for the free night to listen to their 90 minute timeshare presentation. They make promises about giveaways you'll receive upon attending the presentation that we have yet to see. read more

We have now stayed at two of them; One in NH & the other on CapeCod. Not great but they have their plusses & minuses like all places so it depends when you are there. They are timeshares and if you go down on one of the telemarketing getaways - good luck. Our recent visit included the "90 minute" pttch. You are heared into a large cafeteria room with all sorts of couples that make it difficult to hear. The ptich is goodbut the information is overwhelming. They count on impulse buying but some of the prices that were quoted were frankly rediculous. The "free gifts" that you receive for showing are disappointing and abysmal. Especially the 4 free airline tickets. Although the fine print on your confirmation adds the T&Cs ask for the FlyAwayGetaway booklet in advance so you can see the hotels and the mandatory stay requirement and room costs which you must book thru their vendor along with the restrictions & blackout dates. Of course none of that was explained during the telemarketing call. Said another way, if you don't book thru them, stay at the hotel for their defined stay prepare to have your card charge in the same mannter if you accept their invite and don't attend their 90 minute presentation. read more

You can read about the captain's quarters on Yelp or on TripAdvisor as I won't restate it hear. As far as InnSeason Resorts is concerned they are deceptive and bait and switch oriented via there NorthEast Getaways KWC Marketing located in Merrimack NH. When given the incentive of 4 rt airline tickets, if you don't notice the fine print that you have to book the tickets thru Fptravel but YOU MUST also stay at one of their "connected" hotels from 3 - 14 days. More Interesting is after attending their sales pitch you are given the booklet that has very few 3 day stays with the greater majority in the 7 - 8 day range at some of the more priciest hotels in that location depdending on your departure location. So if you depart from Detroit going to Boston you only need to stay at the Boston Omni for 3 days. Or, if you fly from just about anywhere to Miami plan on at least a 6 - 8 day booking requirement.. Of course KWC doesn't provide any details in advance and the confirmation fine print is rather vague and general about this term and condition. In the discussion there was no mention of having to book a stay at such length. So when you get this marketing call, inform them you want to see the Fly Away Getaway = enjoy your trip Booklet before you agree to attend one of their sessions. The $20.00 Gulf Gas Cards and a one night stay aren't very incentive. Like all timesharing & marketing companies... there is alot of misinformation. I have been with InnSeason (although I have been contemplating for years to sell) for a long time and in December of 2018 my husband and I decided to add our 2 children on as co-owners. Paid them $200.00 to add our own unmarried children on. What a rip off that was as well. We already owned and why charge the additional fee?? No explanation. I was told that it is just what their policy is. This past weekend 1-6-2019 my husband and I attended the Boston Bridal Show in Wilmington, MA with our daughter and her fiancé . There was a vendor there advertising a free vacation if you won at chose the correct color at spinning their wheel. My daughter and fiancé spun this wheel and landed on the winning color (red). The representative there was all excited to offer this "free" 4 day cruise to the winner as long as they would sign up for a visit to anyone of their local locations for a presentation. As the representative was sifting through the paperwork that needed to be filled out for the "winner", my husband and I noticed the InnSeason Resort logo. We all spoke up letting the representative know that we were owners and that we had just added our children on as co-owners a few weeks ago. She checked with her colleague and they both agreed to continue filling out the paperwork since my daughter's fiancé is not an owner/co-owner at this time. The intention was for them to explore if there was something out there at the presentation this weekend, that they could afford to buy. The representative took a $20.00 deposit for the reservation for a Cape Cod location and my daughter was asked to sign the paperwork that the representative had filled out with her fiancé's name as primary. Today my daughter spoke with the Corporate Office about this reservation. She spoke with a Kathy Bouvier (one manager as she claimed to be) and then with Erin Speakmon (another manager) and was told at this time that since she is a co-owner, she and her fiancé are not qualified for this winning promotion that InnSeason so poorly advertised for. She and I were both told that the whole idea behind the promotion was to get "new" owners to come and sit through a 90 minute or more presentation to sell more timeshare only. I guess that is "business" and there is no reason to waste time with people who are owners already. Those people are already dissatisfied but stuck in in this mess. Kathy was the rudest customer service person I have dealt with at this company by far (and I have had issues with them from the very beginning, but since they do not buy back, we are stuck with this timeshare OR loose ALL of our investment). She was just in a "matter of fact and no other way or solution to make a customer happy" mode. The customer was wrong and should have known better attitude is what I interpreted our conversation to be. Erin did NOT accept any responsibility for the action/s of their company and this situation should not have gone as far as it. She did make an offer....my daughter and her fiancé could still get the "free" stuff as long as they bought additional timeshare. I explained to Erin that at this time and as a long time owner of this particular timeshare (we also own timeshare with Westgate in Florida) that I would NEVER buy any additional timeshare with InnSeason. I would NEVER advise my daughter, fiancé, or any other family member or stranger for that matter, to EVER buy with InnSeason (or any other time share company). These companies are all about making it sound like it is the BEST and only way to vacation. Timeshare is a waste of money with lots and lots of hidden fees for everything, and lots of aggravation. If my husband and I had thought about it and worked out the math (maintenance fees INCREASE every year for the same amount of vacation time originally bought and additional fees increase as well) we would NOT have bought. There are added and hidden fees for EVERYTHING associated with timeshare. Nothing is what it sounds like and everything has FEES. If you can afford to vacation book directly without being stuck in a situation like many of us have gotten into. If you want to sell your timeshare, no help is offered by InnSeason and IF you do find another fool like us that may want to buy your time share, InnSeason MUST approve the buyer. What a racket. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH INNSEASON. THEY ONLY PROMISE "SOMETHING" IF THERE IS A WAY TO GET NEW SUCKERS LIKE US TO BUY. read more
