Let us start by saying that our new yard is amazing beyond any of our expectations and we could not…read morebe happier! Merrill was referred to us by my sister who works for a paving stone company because she'd seen some of Merrill's work at her sites and knew she would be a fit for our needs. We wanted to take out all of our turf (more than 1,000 sq. ft. in the front and back yard) and replace it with California natives and drought tolerant plant varieties. This type of work happens to be Merrill's forte and passion! She worked with our budget, helped us secure our home owner's association approval and our county's turf removal rebate with her detailed plans, and gave us a gorgeous yard that will only get better with time! She even specially designed a desert habitat for our pet tortoise! We were also grateful for her patience while we worked out issues on our end (like having the county inspectors pre-approve and post-inspect the work) and was able to schedule her crew around our needs. After the project was finished she met with us and took the time to review all of the plant care and maintenance and even provided us with helpful tools and eco-friendly products to keep our yard looking its best.
