I called customer service and they couldn't get in touch with local store so they sent an email asking to resend the cookies to the correct address. 2 hours later still no cookies and this is my son's birthday. I called back to customer service and after waiting more than 20 min I finally got a person. I requested a refund and requested a call from store manager for additional feedback (waiting). I also ordered from Tiff's Cookies instead as I never had issues with that franchise. Will not recommend Insomnia Cookies. read more

I hate leaving a negative review but I feel like I owe it to the other people that come behind me. So we'll Begin by saying, my family and I just came from an amazing dinner but the place that we were at was out of a particular desert that we wanted so we thought that we would try something different. I've been wanting to come check out insomnia cookies for a while after seeing it on Yelp and realizing that it closes at 3 a.m. Right away one of the worst experiences to have is when you're craving your favorite cookie but they don't have that one so you asked for another type and they don't have that one either. I feel like whoever is running the inventory really needs to make sure that they have all varieties available especially if you're going to be opened until 3 a.m. When you only sell maybe 10 different varieties of cookies but you're out of three of them is hard to believe, nevertheless we ordered different cookies. We tried the sugar cookie which didn't really have much flavor we tried the chocolate chunk that had a ton of chocolate in it but it really didn't go well with the cookie we tried the white chocolate macadamia nut and that one was actually pretty good. My kids tried the oatmeal raisin and the peanut butter cookie and they didn't like it and they're kids, kids love cookies? Lastly because they didn't have regular chocolate chip cookies that my wife wanted we asked for a brownie which they we're all out of. Overall I give this a 2 out of a 10 I probably won't be coming back. read more

I really love the concept except it has a very limited menu and they aren't warm. I just want a big warm chocolate chip cookie without all the extra stuff. I don't go out late anymore, but if I did I would definitely stop by because drunk me wouldn't care about the small selection, I'd just want cookies. I love the fact that they are open an hour after the bars close and that they deliver. So smart to be close to bars for people to walk to it and delivery so people won't be driving drunk. read more

Honestly yelp should consider adding negative star reviews because a one star review does not give my service justice. When we first arrived at insomnia cookies we were greeted with more attitude than 3 seasons of keeping up with the kardashians. After we were rudely asked to leave and to order from the app we regrettably decided to still give this place our business. We placed our online order and waited... And waited... And waited... after 45 minutes, we finally decided to venture back into insomnia cookies to ask the cashier if our order had been completed. After I asked them if our order was completed they went back to the kitchen he brought my order to the door and yet again with the Kim Kardashian attitude he said "we are 11 minutes early on your order sir.". Overjoyed to bite into my cookies of which I was given the impression they were early (so you would think they would be at least warm or hot) I opened the box and to my surprise they were cold and hard. In fact the cookie was comparable to the ice the school nurse would give me in grade school. I am extremely displeased with the quality of service and the quality of the food I received at this location. Stopped here after an early dinner and bought 6 cookies. Peanut butter, oatmeal raisin for my husband, white chocolate macadamia and chocolate chunk for me, snickerdoodle and chocolate chip m&m for my son. All were warm and soft in the center with slightly firm edges. The white choc macadamia was outstanding. My husband loved both of his and my son gave the snickerdoodle 2 thumbs up. They aren't super big but they are delicious. Probably a good thing I live outside the delivery area! Parking is a small issue but it's definitely worth a short walk. read more

Wow, what a super disappointing experience My boyfriend and I decided to stay in tonight, and are feeling pretty chill lol and not wanting to drive anywhere but having some mad sweet tooth cravings and ordered two cookiewhiches from Insomnia Cookies. We've never tried it before but we were so excited to find a place so late that could help us with our sugar fix. I kid you not, we sat there refreshing that cookie tracker for an hour haha we were so excited lol. We had called 40 minutes after placing the order, and got someone at their corporate who said our order was in the dashboard and would be out with the next group of orders. We said cool and hung up and waited until they were just about to close and they still hadn't delivered. Called again and got someone else who said that she wasn't sure why they didn't do anything with our order and put me on hold to call them. She got no answer and said that they were probably closed at that point and she could offer me a refund (which I won't get back for several days) and a coupon for 6 free cookies with purchase. She genuinely apologized and is the only reason they're not getting just one star, but otherwise we're not mad, but I can't tell you how depressing it is to pick out the cure to your craving, sit there and dream about it for an hour, and then be crushed when you're told it's never coming :( read more

I ordered a 12 box of cookies for Mother's Day about three days before the order was to go out. On the day I noticed that the order was set to go for 12 AM and not PM. I called once and was on hold for an hour (understandable since it is a holiday) and was finally told they will go out in about thirty minutes. Cut to about four hours later and I called again (was a hold again for a hour) once I got ahold of someone they were very rude (again I understood because it's a holiday and deliveries can be stressful) they again finally said it would be about thirty minutes. Now I am waking up a day after the delivery was supposed to be done and still did not receive my product that I purchased. I am honestly just surprised that a food service that is in the business of deliveries for specific occasions would not only twice lie about the product arriving at a certain time, but then just flat out not deliver at all! I completely understand being patient during a time like Mother's Day and during Covid 19. I honestly would have been just fine getting the cookies at midnight (because hello it was my original mistake when I entered the order), but to not get my order at all is stupid. read more

Ordered a few cookies and ice cream. At first everything seemed like it was cool. After an hour of waiting we contacted them and they told us they only had one driver. We understood that and they gave us a coupon for 4 free cookies with a 6 dollar purchase. After a week we placed another order to use the coupon and the site messed up and said the cookies were unavailable and it charged us for the ice cream we bought with the coupon. We immediately contacted the store and they said they couldn't cancel the order because the ice cream was out for delivery and their only solution was to give us another coupon. Now here is where it gets even worse. We live maybe 5 min from the store and it took them 20 min to deliver the ice cream. Now if it was out for deliver it wouldn't of taken 20 min. So needless to say this experience was horrible. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE. I placed an order around 11pm this past Friday (3/31). I believe the expected wait time was between 30 and 50 minutes. After over an hour, I was ready to go to sleep. I called their customer service line and was told that my order was out for delivery. I thought it was odd that they knew my order was out for delivery and even named the deliverer but were apparently unable to contact the deliverer to let them know I no longer wanted the delivery I paid for. The customer service representative told me that if I simply ignored the delivery person's attempts to contact me via phone and knocking on the door (essentially refusing the order), my payment would be refunded. The payment has been processed through my credit card account, but there is no evidence of a refund. I also thought their tracking system was very primitive. Immediately after placing my order the tracking system said my cookies "were baking." About 40 minutes later, this message disappeared and there was a map of the continental US with no kind of message or indication of any kind. Based on my conversation with the customer representative, I believe that my order was out for delivery. I find it odd that there was no indication of this and there wasn't a specific tracking system for the delivery driver that would provide me with an idea of how long it would take for my delivery to arrive. read more
