Convenient location at Broadway at the Beach. My go-to spot for when Insomnia has promotions, especially on the free cookie days. They also do warm up well after refrigerating or freezing. Taste and texture are pretty consistent across locations including the many locations I've been to in Buffalo NY and NYC. There are high tables (standing by the window) or 2 stools but mostly is a take out style place. Easy parking. Quick service. read more

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Insomnia Cookies left a lot to be desired. I was really looking forward to enjoying a box of fresh, warm cookies, but the experience didn't meet expectations at all. To start, the service was underwhelming. The front counter was completely void of staff when I entered. I waited about 3 minutes before two employees came out of the back. When I gave my name for my mobile order they quickly returned from the back with my box and even more quickly went back to the back. They gave me the feeling that I was inconveniencing them by picking up my order and did not provide much communication or care. I didn't feel welcomed or valued as a customer. When I walked out of the store and opened the box, I was even more disappointed. All of the chocolate chip cookies were broken as you can see in the photo. It looked like they had just been tossed in without any consideration for presentation or packaging. For a place that markets itself around warm, bakery-fresh cookies, this felt lazy and careless. The cookies themselves were decent in flavor, but the lack of care in packaging and poor customer service really took away from the experience. I visited Insomnia Cookies for the first time tonight and was really disappointed. The staff was extremely rude,not welcoming, not helpful, and had zero interest in guiding a first-time customer through the menu. When I accidentally ordered incorrectly, I was snapped at and told I couldn't combine two different cookies, but no one explained why or what my other options were. When I did finally get my order, the cookies were hard and honestly not very good. For the price, I expected something much better. Overall, the experience felt rushed and uninviting. Wanted a sweet treat while and stopped here for that. It was probably 7pm on a Sunday or Monday and a lot of the locations were starting to close around us. Insomnia had an all of their brownies and quite a few of their deluxe cookies sold out unfortunately, since those were some of the ones we wanted to get. I specifically got the classic chocolate chunk and double chocolate chunk with chocolate chip cookie dough in an ice cream sandwich. It was a huge serving and so very yummy! ***Late post from my Oct 2023 East Coast trip*** My last stop at Broadway At The Beach was Insomnia Cookies. I was curious about "Insomnia" and what it means. Well, it turns out that this cookie shop is open until 12 AM. That my friend is why it's called "Insomnia". You can get your yummy cookies well into one's sleeping hours, but if you have insomnia, you probably won't be sleeping so why not eat some cookies LOL. This cookie shop is located towards the back someplace. I was here late at night and there weren't anybody, but me walking around. I had to be extra aware of my surroundings. The building where they are located was very well lit on the exterior. Upon entry, a nice gentleman greeted me. He was the only person in the shop besides me. I wasn't planning to get a dozen, but since I was already at 10, the gentleman said it would be cheaper if I got a dozen. So I got the dozen... glad I did. The cookies were so very moist and tasty good. Yummy!!! I ended up splitting half a dozen with my co-worker who I was planning to visit later on my trip. Prices were a tad higher than your run of the mill cookies and that's okay. I was on vacation, I get to splurge a little LOL. Do swing by and get some great tasting "Insomnia" cookies! I came in later in the evening and was served Immediately by friendly staff. I was unsure what I wanted, so the cashier was patient with me. I ordered an icing sandwich with 2 chocolate cookies and mmmmmm I want another. It was so sweet with the buttercream icing and the cookies were slightly warm so the chocolate was soft! Amazing! (You can get cream cheese icing or ice cream center for the center too. There's also the option of just ordering cookies). It is messy, but worth it. It was served in a little pouch that was easy to rip open as I ate and walked. I would like to return to try other cookie flavors and the mini cookies with dip. I'm wondering which cookie would taste best with the cream cheese icing. read more

Time for a genuine confessions, until today I'd never had an insomnia cookie and until now I couldn't understand what made them that good, but now I do. I just got a triple choc chunk and my wife got one too but with ice cream scooped on top. I've been enjoying Insomnia Cookies for several years now. I worked at The College of New Jersey where they opened a store. I was happy to see them open up in Coastal Carolina U. I have always enjoyed their warm cookies in all flavors. Plus they honor veterans by offering a military discount. There are more expensive fancy cookies (Crumbl Cookies to name one) but are they really that much better, if at all? My favorite: mint chocolate chocolate chunk. Over priced & don't live up to the hype. We went to Barefoot landing, and waited for our cookies. They were sold of several selections, so we settled on 4 filled. 4 filled cookies were $26!!! They were very large, but my goodness, they should've been filled with gold. My sister got 12, out of the dozen, snickerdoodle was the best. The staff were not super friendly either. It was like we were bothering them to come to get cookies. We came about an hour to close, but still they were not friendly. The ambiance was mediocre at best. I ordered a cookie delivery and a milk. When the cookies were delivered they did not bring the milk. I called to let them know and they said I could come get it. I told them I could not come so I would just like a refund. They told me they would not be able to refund me and I needed to contact the delivery company. I call door dash and they said it is Insomnia who is responsible for issuing the refund. I call back and the employee who answers said she would let me speak to the manager. The manager said she could not talk because the store was busy and that she would call back in 20 min. In the middle of me trying to give the girl my name and number, she hangs up. I never received a call back. How can you charge $4.50 for one tiny container of milk, a delivery fee of $3.99 and a service fee of $3.41 and then not refund it when you fail to deliver! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Drove 15 minutes across town to get here at 12:08. Was told they will not sell you cookies in store after 12. That I would have to pay a delivery fee for the cookies I was standing in line to pick up. Webpage and app says the store is open until 1. Ridiculous. read more

If I could leave no stars I would I came at 12:15 and the internet said they close at 1am when I got there the employee was mopping and had the door locked I said I the interment says u close at 1 and she said 12 so they either need to fix the internet or fire the lazy employee who wants to close 45 minutes early. i ordered 2 cookies at 6:02pm on the doordash app, the app told me the order would be there around 6:27-6:47pm my order never got there so i contacted doordash and they told me i could do refund or redelivery and i picked redelivery because the refund takes 3-5 days to be put back into your account. It was around 7:20-7:30pm something and they told me my order would be here 8:01pm its 8:27 pm and my food still not here wtf bruh read more
