I'm not a cookie lover, but insomnia cookies makes me one. They have the best cookies here and I wish I knew how to make them at home. I remember trying insomnia cookies a while ago and not being so impressed, but I've tried them again more recently and they were amazing! Cookie of choice here is by far the peanut butter. The peanut butter flavor is so strong and the cookie is soft and delicious. I could eat a dozen of these in one sitting. The classic chocolate chip is also good, and you can't go wrong with the snickerdoodle. They do have ice cream here too if you're in the mood for that instead of a cookie. They even make ice cream sandwiches with the cookies! I have tried this before and I will say even as an ice cream enthusiast it was not my favorite. I think it was because the ice cream is not soft serve, and instead the scoop is pretty hard. Because of this, it's hard to eat it with the cookie as a sandwich, since the cookies are soft but yet the ice cream was so hard. I would recommend microwaving the ice cream sandwich for a bit to get the ice cream a little softer and I think this would make it so much better. Paying 8 dollars for just 6 cookies seems like a lot for just a cookie, but I will say here it is worth it. read more

I am a starving college student and all I wanted were some nice warm insomnia cookies. I love this establishment, however, my service today was less than enjoyable. My friend and I came to enjoy a sweet treat on a Saturday. There were no signs in the window saying 3 or less people in the store for COVID regulations, but immediately after walking in a store worker harshly stated "only 3 people at a time, and masks must be on". Cookies were good. I would have loved to have tried the fluffernutter, which is what I ordered. Instead I was given a regular peanut butter cookie. Also, when you call customer service (which I did after it had been over an hour and was still waiting), you don't get someone at the local store. They send you to a call center. I visited this location last night 09-12-2023, and it was such a good experience! I've been to this location a bunch in the past.. but I always go at midnight so they never have the good flavors still in stock. Last night was no different. I went in at midnight craving a s'mores cookie & a caramel cookie.. and sadly they didn't have them I was visibly disappointed but that's not their fault. It's a cookie shop on a college campus.. I really should of learned to go earlier, lol. I asked the employees if they were done making those flavors for the night and they MADE ME FRESH ONES!!! They weren't going to make more.. but they did and that kind gesture truly made my night. I'm not gonna say they'll make you fresh cookies every time you go.. not even close.. please don't expect them to after reading this review. I just found it so nice that they made a whole new batch of cookies just bc I drove from far away and asked not even mentioning the line was literally out the door & was completely handled within 15-20 minutes.
