The order stayed in "baking" mode on their cookie tracker for over an hour. I reached out to customer service and cancelled the order. Then received a text message from "Adam" that the store was out of ice cream and the order had been held up for a delivery truck. Not very customer friendly. Insomnia cookies is where it is at! What a great idea! Fresh, warm cookies on demand (and even delivered). I think they have thought of everything-they even sell milk in coolers by the register. We tried the snicker doodle, peanut butter, white chocolate macadamia nut, sugar, and chocolate chunk cookies. All were delish but my favs were the snicker doodle and sugar. The chocolate chunk is really heavy on the chocolate and I'm pretty sure it's dark chocolate so if you prefer milk chocolate like myself, it may not be exactly what you were hoping for (but still good). This place definitely expects you to get your cookies and go-not much room for sitting and hanging out while you enjoy your cookies. I only wish there was one in Cary...non college students love warm cookies too! This place puts places like mrs. Fields to shame. I'll definitely be back! We we quickly greeted dispite the crowd and made our way to the counter where there is a tray displaying all of the flavors available. I chose the snickerdoodle and my beau the chocolate chunk and a milk. Mine was small, but oh so good while his was HUGE and full of chocolate (not my cup of tea but perfect for a chocolate lover). The milk was definitely needed after a taste of the rich gooeyness! Prices were a bit high for a cookie (think the prices for the cookies at the mall), but I will definitely stop by again when i'm in the area for a quick dessert! Since I'm not much of a cookie person I opted for the ice-cream instead and I was disappointed by the way I was treated by the staff at the counter. I had tried 3 different flavors and as I was waiting and trying to pick which flavor to get, I was rudely informed that I wouldn't be given any more tries (which is something unheard of for an ice-cream place) even though I didn't ask to try one of the other flavors.
