I've been coming to these guys for about 20 years. They used to be at a different location but now I drive further to get my oil changed, they also have other services which I haven't used yet. I feel very confident bringing my car here as I am very picky about who touches my car. It's very easy to mess up an oil change and I have full confidence with the guys do an outstanding job. Their prices are very fair and their service is very quick and the shop is very clean. You drive in, pull up, they change the oil, done. I never had to wait too long. I would totally recommend this place and even if you have to drive a little bit to get here it's worth it!

Worst experience i ever have, went there for an oil change and after the oil change my car lose totally the engine power, they put over oil too much, came back next day and they refused to fix the problem I have to pay them 70$ to get another oil change, the car got better but never like it was, I did think it was the end but i wasnt right, after entering to the freeway the plate protector for the oil change fell off, and I have to come back to get it fixed and they just used bridle to fixed, please if you go there be carefulo with the service

They were fast and the price was decent. I sat in the car the whole time, which I kinda liked. They also told me that my car is in good shape and didn't try to sell me anything. They did mention that I could come back to them when I need my next servicing, but no pressure... I like that kind of business. read more

Brought my 2016 Kia Sorrento for an oil change and tire rotation that took no longer than 20 mins! They have a 10 man crew that immediately took us in and got to work. Side note...I called before hand and spoke to one of the gentleman to ask how long it would be and he advised me they would handle my vehicle upon arrival with no wait in line. He was a man of his word. They even showed me and my wife the dipstick after changing the oil to show us the oil is now clean and ready to go. They asked permission to touch, grab and inspect everything on my vehicle before taking any action. While waiting I spoke with Chris about this fine establishment they have and found out it is family owned. You can tell they really put their customers first and strive for your business. We are planning on coming back to get our cabin filter replaced since they didn't have it and are going to order one for us. Highly recommend taking your vehicle here for service! read more

Call in and confirm the price for your oil change before ya go in and ASK FOR CHRIS cause you never know if he might give you a discount ;) He's super friendly and knows his stuff really well. When I say the service was quick I mean like 5 min quick. I needed an oil change really badly but hate going somewhere where I have to get out of the cars and the guys try to sell me something or make me wait a while.so I went on yelp and found this spot. As soon as I pulled up they guys ran to greet me and help with my car as two worked on changing the oil one was explaining the process and telling me how much it was . 2003 Honda Accord $35. They did show me my transmission oil which would need a change soon but no push to buy now or to upgrade to any other type of oil. Once done they all waved goodbye and off I was. Smooth quick process very happy. read more

Thanks guys I've never been to a more honest trustworthy shop til now ...not even the dealer can be trusted. I'm a female so in my opinion they try to rip me off... not at instalube. These guys were cool and honest they gave me my old oil drain plug and even replaced ig free of charge because my oil filter is a "special" filter it doesn't have to be replaced evertime so thankfully I only spent 30$ for synthetic oil....thanks guys...so friendly thanks again we will be returning in the future read more

Just left getting an oil change from these guys and I'm honestly never going anywhere else. My boyfriend usually takes my car to handle these things for me because quite frankly every experience elsewhere tries to upcharge me or tell me I have to pay for all these other things just because I'm a girl who THEY THINK probably doesn't know anything about her car. However this was not the case at all from the point I pulled up. They were extremely nice, efficient, and even showed me my air filter n suggested I change it on my next oil change. Had me out of there fast and for a decent price. It comes down to customer service and finding genuine places like this. Highly suggest them to anyone looking for a new place! read more

This place is awesome and super fast. I went in to this place on my lunch break and pulled in at 12:25. I was out of the by 12:40. The gentlemen there were super nice, honest and charged me a fair price ($31). I could've gone somewhere cheaper and wait an extra half-hour and deal with Jiffy Lube's habitual upselling, which I hate with a passion. They did the usual spot check and ffilled up all my fluids and put air in my tires. I am definitely going here from now on. Great service, good prices, and friendly employees made this one of the best experiences I've had at oil changing places...bye bye Jiffy Lube!! lol... I ended up here in frustration after going to Oilchangers up the street, which you can read a different review about. These guys were so. awesome. Literally in and out in 5 minutes. Very friendly, very professional, 2 of them got right to work and another handled the paper and sticker and all that stuff. No mention of the synthetic oil, easily a fair price, I loved them so much I bought the air filter they suggested which I usually decline, but hey I haven't changed it in years. It's right next to my school and a better experience than I've ever had anywhere else, I'll definitely be back! read more

Fastest oil change I've ever had! Great customer service. I had called a day earlier and asked if I needed an appointment. Christopher was kind enough to provide me with information, pricing, and I was told no appointment was needed. I came in the next day, stayed in my car while they changed the oil, and was out in five minutes!! read more

Came here around 10am on a Saturday morning to get the oil changed in my 2008 BMW, everyone working here is extremely friendly! It only took about 10 minutes to change the oil! Very speedy! Had my oil changed here for the first time 3 months ago. Noticed my car would consume gasoline a lot faster than I've ever experienced. The little Asian man would great you very nice "my dear" until issues started coming out. My husband took the car to another place this time around to get the oil change this time and found out that they over tighten the oil filter to the point where it wouldn't come off. So I took it back to this place to tell the little man that claims he is the manager. He gave me a bunch of bullshit that the new place where I took it does not know what they are doing and does not have the right tool..what the heck!!! He wanted to charge me $50 to attempt to remove the oil filter and $45 to change the new oil filter. My oil change only cost me $47. This place is total bullshit and not honest. They make it so that you have to go back to them to get the work done. Hate dishonest Asian people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE TO TRY. read more

I have been getting my smog test here for many years and they have always been fantastic. Fathi, the owner, is honest and hard working. It was a Saturday, and they said they could look at my problem. When I arrived, the place was packed with cars getting serviced in bays and in the parking lot. But I didn't have to wait! The mechanic took my truck out for a test drive and then put it on the lift. They identified the problem and gave me an estimate. During the week, they kept me informed on the status of parts and said they would keep the promised repair appointment. They also kept the estimated price. So today I got my truck fixed. While I was there, I got my brakes done too. Overall, an excellent experience. A+ in customer service! Located in downtown Hayward.

I'm no spring chicken and in all my years, the crew at this tiny little shop are truly the best. They're the only ones that I trust 100% with my car and that I trust 100% are providing honest recommendations. My car is 14 years old and after one visit here a couple of weeks ago, it's driving better than it has in years. They went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle performs at it's best. They're a one stop mechanic that handles all your basic automative needs. Very relieved to have found these folks. Let's keep them in business for years to come.

I stopped by for a quick oil change and was blown away by how smooth and professional the entire experience was! The staff greeted me right away with a smile and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed or talked down to. You can tell they really know their stuff. They had me in and out in no time, but still took the time to do a quick inspection and let me know about a couple of things to keep an eye on, no pressure, just helpful info. The place was clean, well-organized, and everyone there seemed genuinely happy to be doing their job. Highly recommend if you're looking for honest, efficient, and friendly service. Quick oil change. They did a minor repair on my Civic & I was pleased with the outcome. They are also very eager to please - which is a good thing. When I drove back home, I noticed smoke coming out of the hood. I alarmingly brought it back to the shop and was told that what happened was a normal occurence and would dissipate over time. To allay my fears, they took time to explain the process and assured me that if something happens of the same nature, I can bring it to them anytime. They were right! The smoke disappeared over time, and my car has not had problems since. I'd bring my car back here again if I'm in the Hayward area. read more

Keep in mind this InstaLube has no connection to the one in San Lorenzo which is across from the walmart. I asked the owner of this one, he told me it use to be their but not anymore, which explains the crappy service the San Lorezno one. I usually bring my own oil and filter for them to swap and they charge me $30 for the work which i very reasonable to me. On the plus side they will get it done in 15 minutes or less and do a great job also. In my opinion this is probably one of the last few honest oil change places left in the bay area. read more

I needed an oil change and my boss suggested Insta Lube. Since I passed it every day anyway, I went ahead and stopped in. It was conveniently located, reasonably priced, fast service, no up-selling, and super friendly, respectful service! The guy's name who served me is Tu (pronounced "two") ...super funny guy. I swear I'd pay just for the lunch time laughs! lol So yea, I no longer work in Hayward and I live in Oakland...but guess where I'm going to get my oil changed...I'm going back to Insta-Lube! read more

Quick service. Friendly staffs. Price higher than expected. I usually go to Quality Tune Up in San Leandro. This place is just a few blocks away from work. Thus I think it might be a good idea to drop by during lunch break. The staffs are pretty nice. A big plus. The reason I give them 3 is that they didn't gas up for me. Those auto shops I've been to offer that. read more

These guys were great! No joking about Instant. Was in and out of there in a flash and even got to do it during my 30 minute lunch break with time to spare (I work down the street). Great fast friendly service!!!! I recommend this place 100% it was my first time going to this shop and I don't think I would ever go anywhere else now to get a oil change 35$ and I was in and out in less that 10 minutes I didn't even have to get out of my car!! read more
