I can't say enough good things about this Michelle McCrossen. She is amazing. I have always been very uncomfortable and indecisive when it comes to dealing with my hair. And I hate being in a salon with a random hairdresser, feeling forced to make small talk, and leaving with the feeling of a job not well done, and being too embarrassed to say I did not like my hair cut or color... BUT... With Michelle McCrossen, at Intermezzo Salon in Queen Anne I was immediately greeted with excitement and it was truly an awesome feeling being there in her salon. At Intermezzo, I was offered all sorts of goodies, beer/wine, perfection really. They have a whole kitchen. It was incredible. Michelle and I looked up pictures on the internet together of what my hair "possibilities" could be, what she thought would look good with me. My experience was hers as well as mine and I really have always loved her since. She is a down-to-earth real person. A couple hours can go by so fast. After leaving the salon my first time, I received a thank you card snail mail style from her, and when I came back again for another appt our conversation hadn't missed a beat. It was pretty exciting. I now feel so comfortable and excited to get my hair done, I recommend her to all my friends, coworkers, family, and am writing a positive review about her. She really is a one of a kind stylist, very imaginative mind who is not just someone who does my hair but a really trustworthy person. She knows what she wants in life and works hard to get it. Intermezzo is such a chic salon! I love the decor, the staff, and most of all my results. I've visit for sugaring and for my hair - cut & color. Cherry does an amazing job with sugaring - especially the most delicate areas. The only person who loves the results more than I do is my husband ;)! Michelle McCrossen has been doing my hair for ever it seems like and every cut & color is better than the last. I'm one of those girls who changes her hair with the seasons and goes from blond to dark and back throughout the year. I love the way my cut can go from business appropriate during the week to super sassy on the weekends. It never fails that I get a TON of compliments every time I get my hair done - from my coworkers, my barista, and complete strangers (which is great for the self esteem!) Lauryn is my hairdresser. Her foiling is on point and her styling is very creative. She creates flirty, vampy long layers in my hair and I love it everytime. I have had the honor to be a model in her show Runway to Freedom which is a fashion show raising money to support New Beginnings, a safe haven for women and children affected by domestic violence. Janelle Johnson is a fabulous hair stylist, a champion at Brazilian Blow outs that make my hair feel soft and silky and seriously eliminate all my frizz. She really is an expert at cutting hair and gives me the perfect style and shape consistently. Whether I'm asking for Brigette Bardot bangs, a shag for my long locks, or just a trim she always makes my hair look good. Plus she is FULL of personality and so fun to chat with while I'm in the chair. Lauren has been my hair stylist for about over 2 years. My hair color rarely stays the same and Lauren has always been patient hearing me about what I want in my color. My hair color has fluxuated from the darkest dark to the lightest light and back and forth more than anyone I know. I love going to Lauren for my color because she walks me through what she is doing, which then assures me and lowers my anxiety about how my hair will turn out. I've recommended Lauren to my sisters and closest friends, which is a big deal because I'm very picky about my hair and who does it. Awesome, and you should go! I recently got eyelash extensions at Intermezzo Salon by Yani. I was a little nervous at first but Yani quickly put me at ease as she was very patient and informative. The procedure takes about two hours but well worth it. With Yani's calm nature and gentle touch paired with the relaxing music that she plays I fell asleep shortly after starting. Before I knew it, it was over. When I got my first look at them I though I was still asleep......because my lashes are dreamy! I love them and can't figure out why I didn't do this a long time ago. I've been getting my hair done with Lauren for about the last year an a half. I can't say how pleased I am not only with my haircuts and Lauren but with the salon itself. I love the small neighborhood feel of it. It's tucked away in a little neighborhood in queen Anne and is totally worth my drive from northgate. I recently got a color change from Lauren and my hair has never looked better. I had had black hair for seven years and was worried about changing to a lighter color. Not only does she make my brows beyond perfect and has for the past 4+ years, but she's had experience in a high end salon in Beverly Hills as well !! She will make you feel super comfortable and listen to what you want as well as having the most fabulous products as far as I'm concerned - Epicuren and Eminence Organics - that you can't find anywhere else hardly in the state !! Lisa Attard is the most amazing, beautiful, kind, and ingenious aesthetician in Seattle!!! I am so thankful that I got a chemical peel from her. I loved my results and had minimal peeling. I've been going to this place probably for more than a year and a half. Allways with Jamie, One of my best friends introduced me to her at Laredos where she used to work and ever sice I fell in love with her. Heres why, I have curly hair and it is really hard to style it but she does this "twisty" tecnique that just makes my hair look parefect. She does all my friends hair and they go from platinum long blonde to really short curly. I was excited to learn that Peggy Beulig had moved spaces and was now in Queen Anne at Intermezzo. Peggy has been my aesthetician for over 10 years and she has helped keep my acne and skin tone beautiful. I love the spa she is in. Her room was awesome and her bed was so comfortable.
