International Lobster Rolls is an absolute gem! The lobster rolls are packed with fresh, flavorful lobster and served on perfectly toasted rolls. Every bite tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The quality of the ingredients really stands out, and the portions are generous. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the entire experience even better. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a great atmosphere. Whether you're a longtime lobster lover or trying a lobster roll for the first time, this place is a must-visit. Had a unique spin of flavors as opposed to the traditional Lobster Rolls you would normally. While parking is a challenge it is worth it even if you have to park around the block. Without a doubt, some of the best lobster rolls we've ever had. I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommended!

International Lobster Rolls is located in CID in one of the original buildings. Kudos to them for a remodel that yielded a clean and modernized look. They offer lobster rolls that are traditionally prepared, such as the standard Maine and Connecticut styles, or choose amongst those that are uniquely seasoned with international seasonings. Hence, the name of the restaurant. We ordered at the counter and asked for recommendations. The proprietor says the lemon pepper is his favorite. The food came out quickly. We had better luck with the not-lobster roll items. The Food: Connecticut Lobster Roll, $19.98 - 4 Stars This is a traditional preparation, served warm, with the lobster having been drenched in melted butter. They don't use the flat cut, buttered, and grilled bread. This is closer to a wide hot dog bun. We had better luck with this roll with lobster that are bigger pieces. Cajun Mango Lobster Roll, $19.98 - 3 Stars This lobster roll's seasoning was too salty. I have a high tolerance for salt, and this crossed my line. I am wondering if these are pre-seasoned. We are there nearing closing hours. The lobster meat were not chunks; instead, there were lots of mushy bits that may have absorbed too much seasoning. See photo - no chunks in sight. I am going to pass on the unique flavors next time. Same 'hot dog bun' type of bread. 6x Butter Fish Sauce Wings, $11 - 5 Stars These were excellent. If you are not familiar with Vietnamese style butter fish sauce wings, definitely try these. Wings are also available in multiple flavors. Classic fries (+ non-alcoholic drink combo), $5 - 4.5 Stars These fries and non-alcoholic drink are $5 when ordered with a lobster roll. Worth it. These fries are super crispy and flavorful.

I didnt trust the reviews and I didnt come with as big an appetite as i should have. I have a feeling ill be back soon to get more food. On this visit I ordered a single lobster roll with their wasabi ponzu flavor. While I waited I had a pleasant conversation with the teller. Shoot before I ordered i also had a pleasant conversation with the teller trying to figure out what to order. Their menu is impressive. Ive never seen a lobster roll selection, but I have seen similar appetizers on a few rare occasions. Dont skip the rare. After ordering and conversing I checked out the various decorative features as well as the overall theme. I felt the modern viet tea/sando spot with vibes. There was a few focal decorative zones to snap shots of for this review so of course I snapped a few. Lucky for me my food was ready when I finished taking photos. Today is friday the 13th by the way, but today was more of a lucky day for me. I discovered an affordable and delicious lobster roll joint in seattle with unheard of offerings and it was actually pretty good. The roll easily had as much lobster as other places, but at an even better price with even more flavors. My lobster roll was delicious was light bursts of wasabi and citrus flavors.

International Lobster Rolls is in the east side of ID, at S King Street and 8th Ave S. They have a menu of lobster rolls, soups, salads, and other appetizers. I tried the lobster bisque and it was creamy and flavorful, topped with actual pieces of lobster ! Seating is plentiful and staff were friendly, food was ready quickly despite it being a busy Saturday.

First time here- impressed. Super friendly owner and a pretty chill vibe on a mid Saturday afternoon. Food came out relatively fast. My wife got the Connecticut style lobster roll and I got the grilled cheese with lobster. Both were excellent. Looks like there's a ton of other options to try, so we will definitely be back.

Came to try the unique flavors of lobster rolls which were delicious!!! But didn't know they had more to their menu. Had the garlic Parmesan crab fries and the fish sauce chicken wings. Highly recommend trying the fish sauce wings. Never tried anything like it. 10/10. Service was also great, we had trouble deciding and were given great recommendations. the place itself was clean and had a great aesthetic.

My husband and I had a little date night dinner, and this new spot popped up on my Yelp, so of course, we had to try it! I work near the International District, so it was super convenient. Parking wasn't too bad, and the inside of the restaurant was a decent size cozy but not cramped. We ordered the Connecticut Roll and the Tamarind Roll, and oh my gosh... both were so good. We even got a second round of the Connecticut Roll because, duh!! Who doesn't love butter and lobster? The bread was soft and fresh, not hard or chewy, which made it even better. We also tried the lobster bisque and the lobster crab roll bites, which were okay. For the price, the lobster rolls were totally worth it they pack a generous amount of lobster compared to other places that charge way more. The service was great the person who helped us may have been the owner, but he was super chill. If you haven't checked this place out yet, do yourself a favor and go! We're definitely coming back again soon!

This new-ish spot in the CID replaced the now-defunct Dim Sum House, which never had as much traction as the other dim sum competitors in the same area. It's such a welcome addition to the district that I was excited to try this by myself too! I came in to an empty restaurant around 7:30pm on a Saturday and was greeted by the owner at the register. Inside is brightly lit and clean, with tables spaced evenly and some fun random decor on the walls. Even the restrooms are clean, which is already a plus in my books! Water is self-serve here. I got one of the most basic rolls here: the Connecticut lobster roll. The bread is unique compared to what I've had before; it's warm when it comes out, yet it has a distinct taste like garlic bread. It's not even a banh mi baguette, it comes apart more easily yet is on the verge of becoming crispy. The lobster meat is fresh, succulent, very buttery and a little sweet. There's a lot of it too, and I actually don't prefer seafood most of the time! Lots of butter or sauce dripped from the roll while I was eating, and if it gets this finger-licking kind of messy you know it's gonna be better than good. All this was just for $20 before tax, and that's lower than other lobster rolls places I've had, with even more higher quality than those same places! I enjoyed talking to the owner Hyan while I was eating; he actually created most of the flavors himself (the Maine and Connecticut ones are standard in most lobster roll places) and is planning on making more. It was also really nice hearing how he started the concept from the ground up as a traveler, and I'm really happy he brought this location to the CID. When I come back for another visit, I'm gonna try the garlic parmesan lobster roll since he recommends it! Please come here and try the lobster rolls here! They deserve a lot more hype than what they have right now.

Really great amount and quality of food for the price. $19 for a lobster roll with a good amount of lobster is unheard of in the Seattle area. I also like that they are serving many interesting flavors for the lobster roll, based on different countries in the world! All of bread/rolls are buttered and warmed up. In my opinion they put a good amount of lobster in each roll - every bite for me had lots of lobster. The Connecticut was a classic and the lobster was soo buttery. I got the garlic parmesan and I thought there could be more garlic and parmesan flavor, but still enjoyed it. My friend got the cajun one and that one reminded us of a seafood boil in the best way possible. The crab fries were a really good appetizer/shareable item. They used real crab and they did skimp on the amount of crab on the fries. The fries themself were perfectly crispy. It comes with an aioli or spicy sauce. The owners are really kind people as well. I think this place definitely deserves more hype!!!

Came here on a Thursday afternoon and there was no wait time. Stumbled upon this place because where we were around pike market and was craving some lobster rolls but saw how ridiculous the prices were around there so decided to look up what's around. On google, we saw the variety in the menu and decided to go try this out. The place is clean, with open seating and had parking nearby. We ordered the Wasabi Ponzu and Cajun Mango. The portion and prize is unbeatable, especially in the Seattle area. Met the owner and he was so kind and told us about his journey of opening up this restaurant. The lobsters are from Boston (best place for lobster)! Overall, had a wonderful experience.

I wanted to try the International Lobster Rolls in spite of its location. That particular block in the Intl dist is almost always congested with one tiny parking lot where everyone is trying to get a spot. Maybe park a few blocks away and walk to the restaurant? We got our order to go. We tried 3 rolls and they were good. I think they could be great with a few minor tweaks. The Connecticut roll started out great but I fell a little out of love because there was too much butter. It got too heavy for me and the butter had soaked through the roll making it fall apart. The lemon pepper was too peppery and overwhelmed the lemon. You couldn't taste the lemon after a few bites. And finally the garlic Parmesan was great! I would get this roll again. I will return as I want to try the truffle roll.

Wife and I were so excited to try this place during our day in international district. We visited Seattle for a few days and it was certainly at the top of our anticipated line up of places. Boy did it deliver! We got the honey walnut lobster roll which was amazing. The lobster tasted great and mixed very well with the sauce. It was apparent how much care he puts into his flavor combinations as everything seems very tastefully done and balanced to let the lobster shine as well. Besides the awesome food, I have to say a big highlight was meeting the owner. He is very passionate about his restaurant and it shows in his food and his care for his customers. We spoke for probably 30mins about many things and it was such a pleasure to learn about him and his journey. Owner, if you are reading this - thank you for the very nice connection. I can't recommend this place enough! Be sure to check it out if you are in the Seattle area.

It's rare to find lobster rolls less than $40 that aren't super small so I knew I had to visit this place! I stopped by around 4:30pm on a Wednesday and was greeted by the one employee behind the counter. Everything looked clean and there were no other diners in the restaurant. The variety of flavors of lobster rolls were intriguing. I went with the honey walnut lobster roll since I'm a fan of honey walnut shrimp. If I didn't have dinner plans soon after, I would have also ordered the garlic crab fries. The wait was about 5 minutes. Upon first glance, I wasn't sure if they had given me the right roll since the description said "with candied walnuts" and there were no walnuts to be found. The honey mayo flavor was a bit on the mild side which I appreciated- I had been afraid that it would be mayo heavy. The chives and lettuce were a bit dominant but overall, I was really satisfied with the roll especially given the price point. I would give this flavor a 8/10 but would probably not get it again. If I was in the area, I would definitely come back to try other flavors and the crab fries!

The Mango Salad was beautifully prepared with shredded mango that had just the right crunch and tartness. Generous portions served. Momiji was one of those and it was extremely close to the movie theater we were walking out of. Sushi sounded great so we strolled over to get some. The sushi didn't disappoint... not in the slightest! We got some specialty rolls off of that portion of the menu and they were so very good! Fresh and extremely flavorful! Moonraker was one of the rolls we got. I highly recommend it! In addition to that we got an order of the Spicy Tofu... again delicious and made an excellent side with our sushi! I got a hard alcohol I wasn't used to getting. It was fun and it was quite good! It was Shochu which is a distilled beverage and involves sweet potato. If memory serves I got the one with sweet potato and pear. Very different but very good. It had a nice dryness to it. To wrap it all up we got some deep fried mochi ice cream. It held up nicely to being a great finish to a very high quality meal. We are definitely coming back!

On our recent visit to Seattle we made it a point to try all new restaurants. No repeats from…read moreprevious visits and Nue was at the top of our list for its international flair. I booked a reservation weeks out and we got our party of nine right in for brunch on a Sunday. We just loved the vibe of this place from the moment we arrived. The decor. The ultra friendly staff who greeted us and sat us at our table. And I always love an open kitchen in the dining room. This was the last meal with family before we headed back home to Hawaii later that evening. So the goal was to order as many dishes as possible and share share share. We ordered the Tower of Chengdu Wings, Japanese Zosui, Burmese Laphet Thoke salad, Caribbean Pineapple Cornbread, World Butter Board and Beirut Hummus. Talk about a dance party on your palate. Every dish was so flavorful, thoughtfully prepared and so damn tasty. Broke da mout to be exact. The wings were amazing and packing heat with Thai chilies all over. I avoided the chilies and devoured the chicken. Yum. I loved the Burmese tea salad, cornbread and hummus. The World Butter Board is a must if you're in the mood. They have a great selection of cocktails and beers too. The Kat Chai was refreshing and delicious...and the Rupee Beer Basmati Rice Lager was something I never had before. That was really nice as well with the meal. After we finished our meal we couldn't help but notice all of the different collectibles displayed in the wall. This character with big red hair caught my wife's attention. She was excited to find out they actually made shirts with the character on it...so we also left with some Nue swag. All in all a great Sunday morning for bunch here at this spot. Awesome food, excellent service and a paid lot right next door for convenience. I'm so glad we made it here and can't wait to come back on a future visit. Mahalo to the Nue team for an incredible experience.

Came here for brunch and arrived a little early for my reservation so the table was not ready, but…read moregot seated at the window while waiting for the previous party to finish up. Once seated and the rest of the party arrived the service was quick and courteous. I ordered the "chicken and waffle", friends had the "sunny bunny" and the French tacos. Shared the corn bread. Chicken was super yummy! The sichuan pepper sure was tingly and the generous sprinkle of birdseye chili on top was giving enough heat to make the coffee a little uncomfortable. And no, that's not a bad thing, quite the opposite. Cornbread is almost impossible to cut without turning into a head of crumbles, but the flavor is on point. Note: the "topped with coconut shavings" is an understatement. There's almost as much coconut as corn here. So if you're not a huge fan of coconut you may want to steer clear. The place is hustling and bustling, and there is little space between the tables, but while seated you don't mind; the noise level is ok and your conversations don't carry between tables. Been quite a while since I was here last, and as with every time I do I wonder why I don't come more often... Great place.
