**Update**** We were informed by the dealership that due to the bad battery and having an update sent to computer it fried the module internally. This repair is now costing us $2300. Thank you Interstate battery for NOT taking care of your customers. ***Original Review*** We have always used Interstate Batteries, but our recent experience has been very disappointing. Around Christmas, my husband started having issues with the radio in his Ford truck. We tested the battery at home, and it showed zero voltage. He took it to Interstate to have them test it, and they told him the battery was fine. After continuing to have problems, we took the truck to the Ford Motor Company dealership, and they informed us the issue was the battery. We called Interstate again, and the person my husband spoke with was extremely rude and not helpful at all. We have now had the battery tested twice showing that it's not working properly, yet Interstate continues to say it passes. It's very frustrating when a company stands behind a product that is clearly failing and offers no support to resolve the issue. Based on this experience, we would not recommend using Interstate. Customer service and product reliability matter, and unfortunately, this situation fell short on both. read more

they didn't have my battery in stock...that's ok. I would've waited for it to be shipped to the store but they wouldn't even look up my battery in the system..told me to go to the Yamaha dealer down the street. I'm sure this location will be closed soon due to lack of sales. read more

The guys at the shop were great. I had a battery from Firestone that was bought there a few years ago. Firestone no longer carries their battery but when I went to the store they replaced it with a discount due to its age. Very helpful, personable, and professional. I just left the store. I was waiting to pick up my battery from getting charged and I waited in front of the counter for 5 minutes waiting to be served. This fat guy with glasses was in the next room playing some game on his phone ignoring me the whole time. Then after 5 minutes I said something hoping to get someone's attention. Then the fat lazy guy (6969) stopped playing with his phone popped up and decided to do his job and provide some customer service. There was no one else in line and I waited for 5 minutes to be recognized. This guy needs to be fired. Worthless and lazy. read more

The guy at the counter was absolutely no help. I had pictures of my generator including manuf/model# and adequate information to look up the replacement battery. He told me that my pictures were not enough information and that I should go home and look it up on YouTube. It took me all of 2min to google it on my phone in my car. What a jerk. read more

I purchased a new car battery in July 2018, battery went dead in Nov 2018 took back to store had to leave over night. Next day returned told battery was bad given a new replacement battery. July 2019... same issue on the replacement battery. Went to store told I had to leave battery.. ask for loaner told no.. called warranty dept.. what a joke. Very unprofessional... called Corp office talked to Trisha. Ask for help told she would get a manager on the phone it was 4;45pm.. held until 5;25pm.. she never came back. Hung up called back Corp office was closed... your company is awesome!you got me but never Again! Sold me junk! For a public company you have a lot of class! Pay me back my out of pocket expenses! I had an Interstate battery bought in California with a warranty problem. Went to this location and was fortunate enough to have gone on a day when Adam was working. The whole staff was great, but Adam was very knowledgable, friendly and super helpful. He replaced the old battery and installed it for me in a matter of minutes. The guys interstate are fast, friendly and very helpful. I was a little unsure of which battery I needed considering my car is a classic but they were fast and reassuring. My boss had a 16 month old interstate battery that was dead and asked me to replace it for him. Took it to autozone to have it charged, went back a couple of hours later and they said the battery won't take a charge because it's bad. Took it to this interstate across town where they told me the battery could be charged but it would take several hours , so come back before they closed that day and if it didn't take a charge it would be replaced under warranty. I went back the following morning to make sure there was more than enough time to charge it. Got there when they opened the following morning and they said it would need another day or more on the charger, WTF?!?! I told them that is what they told me yesterday and I don't have 2-3 days for them to try and revive this battery that obviously has an issue. They basically said we won't replace it under warranty if you don't let us charge it more... Long story short this company is trash and they don't adhere to the policies posted on their wall. Buy ur battery somewhere else, not from these clowns... read more

The stores have been set up in such a way that a customer can get in and out very quickly. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help. I appreciate the fact that they have a diverse inventory on hand, and if by chance it's not in inventory the store will order it and have the item ready for pickup the following day. read more
