I come here a lot and it's always sub par. Service is slow, lots of staff starting around but no one seems to be able to help a customer. In the ladies rooms there are always at least 2 "out of order" stalls... for months at a time. The temperature in the summer is very cold, but ok it's summer. But the indoor temp in winter, today it's 35 degrees, it's Freezing in here. Even the staff walk around in black outdoor coats, on the inside! It's been like this for at least 18 months. I've asked about the temperature and was told that "corporate sets temperature standards and they can't make any changes." This is a very interesting movie theatre, which I hadn't really ever seen before, although I've heard that Los Angeles has plenty of movie theatres like this. It's basically all about comfort, and you pay a very high premium for that. Comfortable gorgeous seats, and expensive food items, and all that stuff, and it's more like going to a luxury restaurant than it is going to a movie theatre. But having said all of that, it's not exactly the most well-kept version of this, and I'm sure when it was brand new it was even a little nicer. read more

As a repeat patron, I've noticed an unfortunate new practice at this IPIC (file under "personal service just gets worse across the board"). When we arrived and wanted to place our food order, we pressed the call button; and two different servers came over to deactivate the call button and NOT take our order. Of course Google AI will tell you that the call button is (suddenly) about "being seen" and not about accounting for people who have not had their order taken. I would recategorize that little move as "being seen ... and forgotten." What I suspect is that each crew for a particular theater is being evaluated (directly or indirectly) by how long the call buttons are lit up. Memo to IPIC management: Gen Z may be all about being seen, but the rest of us would actually like service. read more

Great movie going experience - clean and elevated experience. You won't go back to normal theaters ever again

It's been years since I visited this location. Honestly I'm confused. 30 dollars for two tickets was expected. It's the movies so cocktails and food being a little over priced is not surprising to me. I think my hubby spent 6 bucks for a coke and 12 for my margarita. None of this shocks me. I'm confused because the bathroom was in disarray. I think I saw 5 sinks and two soap dispensers. 3 paper towel holders and zero paper towels. Since there were no towels the ladies seem to have shook their hands all over the bathroom. With the floor soaked and no way to properly dry my hands I had to leave the bathroom and ask for napkins at the bar. I mentioned this to my hubby and he let me know the mens bathroom had 2 stalls with locks that did not work, a non-working sink and also no towels. He went to the family bathroom thinking it would be better stocked and found it to be out of service. Seriously if we had gone to the dollar movies I would not have been shocked. We were at the Domain...... All I can think about is the staff that cooks the food uses those bathrooms. The management should be ashamed of themselves. read more

Ok I know you have all been waiting for this one I've never been to a movie theater like this. It's set up like an adult game room. Somewhere you can spend your night out. They have a bar in the lobby with adult games. It's like a sports bar in the lobby. The theater is set up with cubbies two seats to a table and they are kind of private the waitresses come to your table to serve you your drinks and food. The movie starts you're sitting by yourself you're seat reclines like a couch in your house the food is really good, and they do have vegetarian dishes, the service is excellent and the price is moderate. The theater set up is very personal you're not surrounded by people that are sitting next to you. It is worth the money and worth the trip to go to the movies here I highly recommend it for a nice Friday night out-enjoy! read more

Ipic got an upgrade while people weren't seeing movies! The chairs are now leather and you're encapsulated with a buddy or date. It really doesn't even matter to others if someone is on their phone because you're all tucked away in your own little worlds. The food is great and the drinks are even better. I'd recommend the Old Fashioned, but maybe skip the Mocha Martini unless you're looking for a pick me up with very little alcohol content. It tastes yummy! The chicken skewers are so good! Honestly, everything we have tried on the menu has been fantastic, especially the truffle fries! I can't think of anywhere else I would rather see a movie! read more

I was always a big fan of iPic (before the pandemic) because of the comfortable reclinable seats and individual pods for privacy. It's especially fitting now for social distancing. The good news is that the ticket prices are much cheaper now. Additionally, the food and drinks on their menu are superb restaurant grade: Tandoori chicken skewers, loaded tater tots, buttermilk fried chicken, and mahi fish and chips and some of my go-to choices. The Passion Colada Mojito is my absolute favorite cocktail. I'd only watch movies at this theater. read more

I had been to IPIC since they first opened but they have really made a lot of positive changes since lockdown. 1. The price of tickets has dropped from $30 down to $15/person for premium plus seats. 2. They completely remodeled the layout and seats are surrounded by a private wall in pairs. 3. Maximum capacity is at 50% with approximately twenty people. I'd rather sit in a theater of twenty than one hundred people during delta covid. The negative changes are: A. They no longer offer free popcorn for premium plus seats. B. Seats no longer recline all the way back at 180 degrees. C. The menu has changed and there are fewer gluten free options. D. They no longer offer pillows. Overall, I prefer safety during delta covid and would rather go to IPIC with laundered blankets over a crowded theater. read more

There have been some changes since my last visit five or six years ago: no more free popcorn delivered to your seat by the popcorn ninjas, but the seating is even more cozy and comfortable. At your leather recliner seat, you'll find your very own little fuzzy blanket because who wants to get too chilled in a dark theater? Won't happen at iPic. The chairs are situated in groups of two in a kind of pod (walled in space) so you're very separate and if you want to whisper to each other or even glimpse at your phone you shouldn't disturb anyone else. The chairs recline fully so be careful not to fall asleep if the movie is not very gripping. I would rate the food as only 3 stars, if I could give it a separate review. The margarita pizza was OK, but we were only given one napkin (although it was a cloth napkin). The pizza was not sliced completely through, and as neither flatware nor plates were provided, I found myself clawing the pizza apart with my bare hands in the dark. That is very messy. Fortunately for me, I'm the one who got dibs on the napkin! The prices are lower now that they don't have free popcorn but the popcorn is not that expensive $8 for large $4 for small. All-in-all, it is a nice movie experience. read more

A movie theatre experience unto it's own. Each duo of seats has reclining loungers that are accompanied by a blanket (which is needed as it is very chilly) and a table in front from which to call a waiter. Food options are varied and surprisingly tasty! We ordered the large popcorn and fish and chips. My only qualm is it is difficult to see your food at all in the dark, but if you don't mind an "eating in the dark" experience, it truly was very tasty. Would definitely come back to have the combination of feeling absolute comfort of home (if not more) as well as a big screen theatre experience. read more

The two stars is because the theater itself is gorgeous and comfy, which is why IPIC is always my first choice for a movie! After tonight, nah. The worst service we've ever had. I noticed before we went they added an 18% automatic service charge (no biggie - we always top at least 20%) but that HAS to be the reason. Server couldn't care less and had to be buzzed several times to bring the things we ordered after an insane amount of time. Kitchen backed up? Really dude? It was 6pm on a Wednesday, hush. The kitchen didn't forget our sodas, other drinks, or to clear the dinner dishes until being specifically asked to - where were we gonna put our cookies that you forgot about so long they weren't even warm anymore on the tiny tray? Hidden additional $12 fee for the use of one of their waiting staff. My wife & I have been going here for the past couple of years. It's a nice theater with nice seating & decent food. I felt it was a little overpriced, but nothing outrageous. Then last time I noticed an additional $12 service fee added onto our bill. When I asked what it was for, I was told it's because we used their waiter to order food & drinks. I asked why nobody mentioned that when the waiter came to us for our order? No answer & I didn't want to be mean to the girl working there as I know she is just trying to get through her work day. I'm not a fan of hidden fees on anything, never mind trying to squeeze me for $12 after I ordered a $15 pretzel & spent $70 on two movie tickets. I'll go to a different theater for now on. read more

Went to see Top Gun and was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. I was going to get a drink at the bar since I arrived early. I was told there was only 1 bar tender and he was only making drinks for people watching the movies . They no longer provide pillows and blankets on the chairs, they actually gave me a blanket at the front check in desk that pretty much looked like it came out of the trash bag. Pillows are no longer offered or provided. The complimentary pop corn is no longer complimentary, you must purchase it which I did, Unfortunately it was stale gooey and old. The place overall was dirty, the restrooms were horrible There was paper, trash and food inbeteeen the chairs which was extremely obvious. I will not be returning and I don't see them staying in business if they don't make some serious changes, most people enjoy this experience because of the high end feel and perks I must say the few people working were extremely courteous and trying their best. Can't complain as this was a freebie night thanks to Microsoft & Dell. I did check on pricing and yes, as others have noted, a date night here will set you back a few pesos. If you arrive early you can have a cocktail at their full service lounge. We had the pleasure of scoring the premium seats (think posh recliners). To further spoil me I had a blanket and pillow. To be totally honest I almost snoozed off a couple of times I was so comfortable. I ordered their buffalo egg rolls as my App and they were really good with a little bit of a heat kick. I could have just stopped there but I also had there flat bread pizza. It was AOK. We viewed the new Solo movie and the surround sound system was awesome. This was a wonderful pampered movie experience and I would definitely return. read more

Great seats and interior decor, but that's where the greatness ends. They overcharged my card TWICE! Once on drinks that were billed to a different theater and the second on food we never received. We ordered food and drinks (2 drinks, 2 meals) before the movie started. Drinks came as the show began, 1st meal shortly after. Second meal never came - they delivered it to a neighboring seat and before I had a chance to say anything, the guest started eating it - the server told them "if you don't tell I won't". Manager on duty came by to check, told her I never got my food - (movie 50% over at this point), she went back to check and never came back. Check came and everything was on it. Went outside after the move to ask about it. They were nice enough to take the food off but as I was waiting I saw 3 other people from our show ask her about the same thing! I understand staffing is hard right now, but the staff working that night just didn't care. I can't wait till this place gets bought by a different chain. iPic, please go away. We really enjoy the comfort and privacy provided at IPIC. I used to be a big ipic fan! But recently their service has been so horrible. They must be understaffed, but I'm worried this business will not last because the customer experience was awful. I don't plan on coming back anytime soon. The drinks took over 30 mins to arrive and the food took over an hour & 15 mins ...... and then to make matters worse, the food wasn't good. Don't order the tuna lettuce cups or the Caprese skewers. The best thing to order is probably popcorn and French fries. I'm so sad about this review. Went for a free screening (thanks to GoFobo) and loved it. The lobby area is huge: plenty of seating, great bar area, pool tables. The theater itself was spacious, the seats were so comfortable and they provide a blanket. The overall experience is dope..you never have to miss a second waiting around for concessions, there's a button and they'll come take your order and deliver it right to your seat. Can't believe that it was my first time coming here. My coworker has been scheduling movie watching evenings for her birthday. As soon as I walked into the this place I thought it was cool! Plenty of places to sit at inside to enjoy a cocktail or watch the game. The high top we sat at had a circle on top and it was showing Old School movies. The back of the stools had movie stars from the past. Let's discuss seating. You must purchase seats as you can't walk in and choose a seat. Most theaters seem to be going to that process. There are premium seats (the first three rows) up front and premium plus seats (recliners). Premium seats are $16 and the premium plus seats are $28. Premium seats don't recline and there is no service for food or drinks. The seats still have the slide out tray to help organize your goodies. Be sure to grab your goods before the show. VIP includes food/drink service from your seat and you get a blanket. I'm sure there are a few more perks. Since we were expecting a big group we sat together on the premium seats. There are other theaters that offer leather recliners with food/drink service for cheaper. I'm sure the VIP experience may be different here. I hope to try it out one time to make that call. They don't serve movie popcorn like other theaters. They have popcorn of the day since it changes. Yesterday's popcorn was truffle. I passed on it. Fountains drinks are $6.50 with free refills. Woohoo! I didn't order any food since I was going to eat in the Domain. Overall, it's been a great experience watching a movie here. Will give it a four stars for great experience until next time. Offers comfy seating, a blanket, and reclinable chairs where you can just kick back and relax. You can also order food and drinks during your movie experience. Why are you freezing your customers and wasting sooo much electricity? The service, food, sound quality, and seating was great. However, the temperature was almost unbearable. I am rarely cold and had to ask for 3 blankets. It was around 65 degrees outside and the theater was way colder. This feels environmentally irresponsible, expensive for them, and bad for business. This is my go-to theatre. It's premium seating is so unique (full recliner with pillow and blanket and popcorn included) and comfortable I find myself thinking of it while I'm visiting other theatres. The sound systems are very high quality as are the projection systems. The service is almost always impeccable. And the quality of drinks at the bar and the comfort of the lobby make it worth visiting even if a flick is not on your agenda. But, as has become the unfortunate standard at theatres, you could order a cheaper meal with room service at a five star hotel. The food is good -- but nearly twenty bucks for an entrée is a bit over the top. When you walk out with a bill for two entrees and a few drinks topping $75 it makes you ensure you REALLY want to see that movie in comfort before you return! read more

Longtime iPic patron, though we haven't been to movies during the pandemic. With things being a bit more open and my party being fully vaccinated we wanted to venture to a movie at our favorite place. Everything about the experience, though, was awful. We got there 30 min early so we could order food and be able to see it, but upon ordering 10 min after we sat down and 5 after pressing the call button, we did not get even our waters until 45 min later, past the previews and about 15 min into the movie. No popcorn included, no blankets, no pillow, poor service, cold food. It makes me really sad to see a place go down like this...charge a little more for tickets and bring back the differentiating service. For $15, I'll just go to AMC where the seats are heated. At least there I expect bad food and poor service. Somebody send me a message when they fix their ship. read more

We only started going here since the Moviehouse is out of the way after we moved. Is service/experience/food worth the price? no, except your first time. Yes, the service is good and the food is decent (although too expensive considering the premium movie tix price). I cannot comment on how clean the seats are since it is always dark/dim in the theater. It is a convenient location, close to home.. notable food items are the calamari and sashimi over crispy rice. The quantity of food is very small compared to the price. You may be able to catch some live music before/after the movie in the courtyard. read more
