The show is about 90 minutes, with a 5 min break halfway through. They have a bar on site, and a taqueria that's connected to their building as well. We laughed, we clapped, we sang, we booed, "we" as in the whole audience participated in this interactive show. The kids that decided to sit on the floor in the front that night made the show so entertaining with their cheering and chanting... oh their parents taught them well! Legends of the West Dinner Theater is located just north of New Braunfels and just a few miles west of IH 35 off FM 306 & Hoffman Lane, take a left on Rolling Oaks Dr., pass by a few residences all the way down to the end of the road... then you drive right into Triple R Ranch. You pass by the rodeo arena, the stables, the plantation house, to the airport runway for parking. Once parked, you will be directed to the former airplane hanger which has since turned into a dinner theater. We checked in at the door, then stopped by the bar (as of now only beer and wine available), then proceeded to find a table to sit at (seating for 200!). We were told the brave ones sit in the front, so we did! I definitely suggest sitting as close as you can... just do it! Our meal was catered by Harmon's BBQ out of Cibolo which included brisket, chicken, beans, potato salad, all the fixins and iced tea. We walked through the line, then back to or table. The acoustic cowboy sang to us for about an hour for their preshow entertainment. This evening started out beautifully. The show we saw was their seasonal Halloween Spectacular which included a gang of Vampire Old West Outlaws which included my great uncle, the infamous John Wesley Hardin! One of the song and dance numbers was Michael Jackson's Thriller which started the show... it was very well done! Bravo! Ladies were called up to help play a game. Children were called up to become a part of the Vampire gang which also included story telling. The cast really gets the crowd involved in the story line.. we loved every minute of our time at the theater. The producer and main actors have all arrived in the Texas Hill Country after spending many years in California, and around the world, in the entertainment industry. Their long time friendship brought them back together to build this amazing adventure for all of us. We spent some time with them after the show and all are amazing people. Hubby and I are looking forward to seeing their annual Christmas show in Dec as well as their year around shows and events in the future... Hollywood comes to New Braunfels! *Note* my phone died big time, wouldn't charge and wouldn't turn on, so my apologies for the lack on photos at this event.

They couldn't find my account where I've been collecting points for several years. Something happened between June 2 when I went to the movies and they found my account with my phone number. Come June 9th, just a week later, my phone number doesn't bring up my account. My email doesn't either. Completely gone. When I got home from the movies I sent an email, asking what happened. They said they can't see anything. I ended up creating a new account. But I lost all my reward points. Now I'm starting from scratch. I did send another email asking if they can search for my original account, or what happened with the points I accumulated over 4 years. Got nothing back and now it's the weekend, so maybe I'll hear back this next week. Who knows. Maybe we are seeing a fall in movie theaters. I have now started ordering at the bar because the food has been incorrect. At least I can talk and explain the food to someone without whispering in the theater, and disturbing others watching the previews or the movie. I ordered The lemon pepper wings with chips and salsa. The chips were stale. Which whatever. I really just wanted the wings, which were great. Nice strong lemon flavor, and the pepper was perfect. Wings are good. French fries are cold, and chips are stale. Mojito was great. My experience just gets worse. There is another movie theater near where I work. So maybe I'll just switch theaters.

A friend recently told me about the theatre and their overall positive experience. Date night with the hubs...we decided to see the new Michael movie. The movie was very well done and captivating. I learned some new things about Michael. First, he was huge visualization and positive imaging guy...likely one of the keys to his success. Also, I did not know he lived as long with his family (according to the hubs he was 29 years old.) Finally, I did not know the fire to his head while filming the Pepsi commercial caused 3rd degree burns and nerve damage which required pain medications. Now for the brewhouse, if you are a big fan of beer, then this is the place for you. I do not drink beer, so this was certainly not my draw. If you like beer, they have a huge assortment to choose from. As you walk into the theatre you can see large metal vats, which you might see in any brewery. The other design flaw is the reclining chair. You recline all the way, The head portion goes all the way back and if you lay back you can't really see the movie.
