The slices have crispy bottoms, New York style. Every time I order a slice I go back for more. I can't get enough. The owner is always there, helping people out, real personal guy. I once didn't have enough money for my order but he said it was alright and let me have it. Super giving. There's also a discount for students in the neighbourhood. He helps out feed so many kids/ students everyday. The staff are also amazing, very quick service, personable people, brings food to you straight from the ovens and onto your table. Very cozy and soft lit lighting. Warm in the winter & just right in the summer. They got a variety of drinks to cool down in the heat & fresh pies for when you gotta eat. 10/10 recommend!!

Unik Pizza probably has its fans who find the pizza fine--but i can't claim to be part of that group, though. the menu here extends beyond pizza as menu is filled with fast food items like fries, onion rings, chicken nuggets, fried chicken, and more. to me, the pizza is basically okay if you are hungry, don't have a ton of options, and want something quick. the service was quick and friendly enough as it's a one-person operation from what i could tell. basically this is a $1 pizza place that has graduated to $1.50 cuz of inflation or whatever, but they are feeding a demand in the area where people (especially younger ones) are way more price elastic than anything else other than being really hungry.

The prices are generally maybe $1-5 less than at prices for dine in neopolitan style restuarants, but it makes sense as it is considered a fast casual spot. Cooking pizza fast will come with burnt spots on top and bottom so please be aware of that. It is also nice that they use Italian Caputo flour which is considered the gold standard of '00 pizza flour giving that nice chew to products. All in all, it was a good first experience.
