Cheese pizza

Solid pizza spot with heroes, calzones, pasta and various entree options. They have a lunch special from 11:30a to 3p, 2 plain slices and drink for $6.50. Very NYC

Vodka pizza

Listen, there's a lot of pizza places around this area, but this place tastes the cake for the best vodka slice. This is the best slice. I've had in a very long time 10 out of 10. Highly recommend kiss the Chef on the mouth.

While walking back to Penn station, I stumbled upon Rocco's pizza. The chicken pizza was quite tasty, but could've used slight more sauce, 7/10. My ultimate favorite was the grandmas pepperoni Sicilian. It tasted absolutely delicious, so delicious I had to buy another 10/10. If I lived close by, this would be my go to pizza spot.

Stopped in here while walking down the street to Empire Cake. Any time there is a slice house I am more than game with swinging in and grabbing a few. Not a large area - but for grab n go and a few tables inside and outside. They weren't busy as it was right after the lunch crowd. The guy working took our order and got us in and out quickly. We shared a grandma (square with pepperoni) as well as a margherita slice. Both were VERY GOOD. Arguably the two best slices of the weekend. Dough was fresh, proper bake on each, and fresh tasting ingredients. I noticed they also had pasta options as well, so this could be a fallback if in the area and reservations elsewhere falls through.

My friend and I came to NYC to catch a show at Racket NYC and stumbled upon this place. So happy we did. Small place with limited seating, maybe for 16 people. If that's the case then grab a couple of slices to go. I had a fantastic Greek salad which had tons of feta, Kalamata olives and a tasty house dressing. I also had a Grandma Slice of pepperoni. Cupped pepperoni! Perfection! My buddy had a couple of Grandma Slices as well with the whole wheat and said it was delicious. We shared an order of garlic knots and I don't know if it is legal to walk out of here without getting them. Plenty of soda choices including Jarritos. They do have more than pizza on the menu and will probably try an entree next time I am in the Chelsey District.

Good place to go for the lunch special. Don't expect anything fancy or mind blowing. Two mediocre slices and a can of soda for $6.50 - which is a pretty great deal in the city. The restaurant is clean and cuter than you expect it to be. Small, with a few tables and chairs should you choose to eat there. The cashier will act less than thrilled that you have decided to visit the establishment, but consider it part of the New York ambiance. Very important note: the lunch special begins at 11:30am. Avoid like the plague from 11:30am-12:30pm on weekdays. There are schools nearby and the entire place gets overrun with loud tweens and teens. Nightmare fuel, for real. Otherwise, drop in and enjoy a cheap bite to eat.

The food here was pretty good for a first visit but the slices were deff a must with the variety as well ( kiss the fingers). The service was quick an easy didn't have to struggle on ordering anything. It was also decorated like something out of a small Italian spot not like a pizzeria but more of a small villa on the coast but then you look out the window and it's the big apple. For a person who's always on the go for a few slices was deff a must go deff gonna order else be prepaid es for a star update after the second visit

Small place with limited inside seating, making takeout the option that day. Luckily, I've done delivery twice and their pizza travels well. Unlike a lot of other places, they don't skimp on the toppings because you order more than one. I worked in a pizzeria during college, making thousands of pies...so I have some experience to make that statement. Some restaurants spread the ingredients further out to increase the profit margin, which negates your enjoyment. They'll say it creates a better visual, which it BS...it's $ they're looking at. Some alleged foodies have bought that BS and spread "the visual" perspective on their reviews and social media. You can prefer plain cheese pizza because it's a taste preference, and we all have them...but show me someone who orders toppings on a pie and doesn't want said toppings in each bite, and I'll call fraud. Pizza is a guilty pleasure food. Look at the pie and you can see Rocco's philosophy on pizza; pepperoni cups filled with unctuous spice and chunks or unsymmetrical balls of ground Italian sausage. I haven't had the opportunity to eat table-side there yet, but if it gets to your home in a box this good, fresh out of the oven on your table has to be better. Cheers

Standard cheap NYC pizza. Tastes like all the other pizza shops. Their Grandma slice looked fantastic and I wish I had gotten that instead.

They have gluten free and vegan pizza! It's a solid place in our book for that :-) A nice little outpost for a pizza drop-in. Nothing fancy.

I ordered the Lamb Ragù pasta, and every bite was packed with rich, slow-cooked flavor. To start, my brother and I shared a pizza and the lobster appetizer, and both were incredible. My brother ordered the truffle pasta, and after stealing a few bites, I can honestly say it was just as unforgettable. The atmosphere was on another level. Even on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was buzzing with energy, full of happy people, great conversations, and an authentic Italian vibe that made you want to stay for hours. The service from Jose was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had an amazing experience. If you're looking for incredible Italian food, outstanding service, and one of the best dinner spots in the East Village, OLIO E PIÙ belongs at the top of your list. Water and excellent bread arrived immediately and the waiter was helpful describing dishes and giving advice. Salads were fresh and crisp. Caesar was nicely dressed and the mixed salad was a nice combination with well balanced herb vinaigrette. Seafood dishes had large amounts of fresh seafood and the veal picatta had the lemony flavor you expect without excessive acidity. Dessert was tasty and innovative. The ricotta based cheese cake wasn't as smooth as the cream cheese form but the citrus flavor was great. Throughout the meal water and bread were refilled, plates from completed courses removed and next delivered without being overly hovering. All in all a really great meal.
