I was coming back from a work cruise with my husband and my husband needed the bathroom. Since I love tiramisu, I told my husband that I'll order one at this restaurant we had passed by so he could go use their bathroom. As soon as we entered, the staff attended me and asked what I would like to order. I said tiramisu and he asked which one. I was surprised but in the way a kid is when they realize they can have any flavored ice cream other than vanilla. They had Biscoth, Coconut and Pistachio flavors but because I love the OG, I went with the regular one. It was definitely tasty and coffee galore but with a kick of liquor at the end of each bite. We took the tiramisu to go because we had a long walk until union square but I do plan on going back. The place seemed spotless and family friendly. If I had not been full from the food at the boat, I would have ordered pasta as well. I definitely will next time.

It was my first time at Pastasole, and I really enjoyed the pasta. The wait was short, and it wasn't busy when I went in the afternoon around 3 p.m. There's indoor seating, and they make the pasta right in the cheese wheel. I appreciated that the chicken wasn't too salty, sometimes places overdo it. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, which was good, but I think I would've preferred it with a tomato or beef sauce instead of chicken. Either way, I'll definitely go back to try the other options.

I am giving this 5 stars because I believe in their concept, their price point was reasonable and…read morethey were also very flexible for a few different requests we had. Management was very accommodating on various levels - no need to describe the details as it's not relevant for an average review. know before you go - you literally have no other cheese but to have cheese in your pasta. Note that this is not a place for lactose intolerant kinds. I thought the concept was fresh pasta (which it is) but their ultimate menu items must include that cheese wheel. So fine. I figured they can at least give a non-cheese dish but rules are the rules. The place was packed on a weekend early evening. Lines were not forming (like it showed in the viral videos) but they were cooking up quite a bit at the front, because of carry out orders. Either way, on all angles - literally pretty much everything is ALL good and very positive. However, the one thing that needs to be addressed is that wheel made of cheese. Whoever created that chunk of a wheel, kudos to them/company. By golly - that gargantuan of a wheel was so filled with calories - I kid you not, it almost converted me to being lactose intolerant! So if you're about to have triple bypass the next day, I do not recommend this joint until you're fully healed. Yes, the flavors were good, but the cheesey elements were just too too rich. You also cannot tell them to lessen it, it's just set the way they cook the pasta within that barrel. Otherwise, the decor/ambience was nice, and tidy aspects really show through. Customer service was wonderful. Support your local businesses!

We literally only stopped in because it was raining hard and this was the closest place that was open. That said, it was such a good choice. The pasta is fresh, cheesy, creamy, and you can customize it with things like chicken, mushrooms, onions, and shrimp without breaking the break. Highly recommend making it a destination, or just making a pit stop if you're craving pasta.

I ordered via DoorDash, and requested a pick-up time about a 1/2 hr. after placing the order. I ordered the Midnight Desire + chicken (for protein). The food was ready when I arrived, and the guy who was at the counter was friendly when handing it to me. I'm enjoying my lunch as I'm typing this. IT'S DELICIOUS! A little pricey, but that's to be expected for the area. :)

Was also thoughtful in handing us our orders correctly which was nice. For the food itself I heard good things and was hoping to love it more-- but I think I was slightly disappointed. The flavors aren't so bad overall and if you have a pasta itch it'll scratch. But I've tried other places better at a similar or even cheaper price point with protein added in. I got the "some like it hot" while my friend got "midnight desire" with burrata added in. I paid about 22 for each dish. Now for my thoughts - flavor for "some like it hot" was not bad, sauce was a slight bit watery for my liking. The spice was nice and I liked that part the most. Pasta was "OK". The ravioli was stuck together for some, filling was adequate but, I would've liked a little more. I don't want to sound harsh, but it was all around just an ok spot. Maybe it was just that day. Burrata added is nice, I took mine to go do sadly it was melted on top (recommend to pack the burrata separately for to go orders) - "midnight desire" is basically vodka and the flavor for this one was kind of odd for me. Not the normal vodka I am used to. I personally wouldn't really get it again. It wasn't a bad sauce, just not like vodka I know. Had a slight "bitter(?)" aftertaste from some seasoning I guess. I'm not a pasta connoisseur but I AM Italian and I've tasted a wide ranger of pastas lol-- I think yummy cheese pasta in Hell's Kitchen offers a similar concept, portion but is more filling, diverse options for adding and overall, slightly cheaper. Perhaps I'll give this place another try on another day..

Great flavor and the $12 price tag made it extra delicious! They have some food on happy hour so we also tried the mac and cheese lollipop. Super cute idea and presentation. I thought it was very flavorful! The sauce was so yummy but the texture was a little off for me. It was pretty thick. But all the flavors were great! I would order these again and also want to try the happy hour gnocchi. I would definitely recommend this for happy hour! The vibes and service were top notch.

This means those dishes aren't truly gluten free for people with celiac disease or anyone who has to avoid gluten. When I pointed that out to my server, he just gave me a blank stare. I tried to explain why labeling those items as gluten free is misleading, but he seemed completely disinterested, even annoyed, dismissed what I was saying, and simply responded that the pasta is gluten free. I acknowledged that the server doesn't write the menu, but absolutely zero customer service skills. The service overall was lacking. Aside from taking our order, no one checked on us or came back to see if we needed anything. Our server was just hanging out chatting up the hostess. We had to request the bill from the manager & paid at the hostess stand. Before paying, I spoke with the manager and explained what had occured. He was more professional than the server, but he was still dismissive of my concerns and of the service we received. Management seemed happy enough to promote the "option". The food was okay, definitely not enough to make up for the poor service and handling of a serious dietary issue. Needless to say I will not be returning.
