I love IQ Laser Vision. Every single person I have encounter has been such a pleasure to work with. They really put customer service first and are not "pushy" like other places. From the time I made my free consultation appointment with the staff at their Westminister location, I appreciated their professionalism and genuine care for their customers. It's been 5 months since I've gotten the SMILE procedure, and it's been AMAZING! I really regret not getting it done sooner. I have been dealing with dry eyes from contacts for as long as I remember despite the best contact lenses I've tried. But I no longer have to deal with any of that now :) I was told my eyes can be a little dry after the procedure, but honestly, I didn't feel any dryness. I now have a vision of 20/15! The Westminster office of IQ Laser Vision is amazing! Their entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Christina at the front desk greeted me by name each time I walked in after my first appointment. When I came in for a second visit with both of my kids, ages 8 and 5 who can be a handful, Josie offered them hot coco and cookies and Christina brought out Connect 4 for them to play with while I was being seen. Both Christine and Dr Nguyen helped explain all my options and were very friendly, genuine, and knowledgeable in taking care of all my questions and made it a wonderful experience. Dr Lin who performed my surgery was also very friendly and made me feel at ease during the whole operation. I had very terrible vision at -11 and a high astigmatism. I decided to go with the SMILE procedure and today, the next day, I'm seeing 20/20 and have no pain or irritation at all and they tell me thing will only improve over the next few weeks. My mom and I scheduled an appointment and came in for a consultation last week. When we came in, we felt so welcomed and everyone is super friendly. They ran a lot of tests and gave us some recommendations for our dry eyes. On the same day, I got to schedule my dilation procedure for the week after and lasik procedure for the week after that. I came in today for my dilation procedure and they realized my eyes needed the dry eye treatment. It was last minute, but they didn't want to postpone my lasik procedure. I got to do the dry eye treatment right on the spot. Although the tests can be long, I didn't mind the wait or anything. This place makes you feel very comfortable. I had my procedure done the end of 2015. Was guaranteed a year of free services and check ups. During that time I was deployed so they offered me an extension, which was great! I returned in 2016 and was able to see my optometrist for another six months, since I only used half of my guaranteed year. Dr. Nguyen is the sweetest, super caring, especially about the baby lashes that persistently grow and irritate my cornea. Bubbly and a pleasure to talk to. It was a great experience, life changing moment to me First: consultation was very professional, staff and people are very friendly and very informative, Christine and dr. Lasik was one of the best decision I've made .. the whole staff at IQ vision were so helpful. My consultation was with Becky and it went smoothly and may I say she is the sweetest. She was so helpful and patient with all my crazy questions. Becky explained the process of micro lasik throughly and I was greeted by Dr. Nguyen, she's so humble and cute... she did my eye exam and told me that I was good to go for lasik! Went back and talked to Becky and told her I was going to go shop around to see where I was most comfortable at, instead of selling me she agreed for me to go look around and compare. Turned out a week later I contacted Becky and said I'm ready and my trust is in her hands. I am now five days post surgery - and I have to express how GRATEFUL I am to everyone at IQ Laser Vision for this experience. First - a girl I follow off Instagram recommended this place. She had a great experience, loved the staff, the environment was comfortable and clean - so I had to check it out. I went to the Westminster office for my pre-op and post-op appointments. Every single person I came in contact with (from the front desk to my nurses to the doctor) were absolutely amazing. They take the time to talk everything through with you and to make sure you understand what you're signing up for. Once you get through the testing, you can talk to one of their financial consultants (probably not the correct job title, but for this sake...) - mine was Veronica. Not only has she had LASIK, but she's a mom - something I super appreciated when she answered every... little... question I had. I was relentless. Not only was she super accommodating, but she genuinely cares about patients looking for LASIK. Dr. Nguyen also has been fantastic at all of my appointments - she put me at ease during the pre-op and has followed up wonderfully for all of my post-op work. After many referrals from family members and friends about this place, I finally came in for a consultation. The athmosphere was very pleasant and the staff are very courteous and respectful. Annie at the front desk was very helpful. Trish and Phuong, the technicians, took me in for routine eye check and they were very patient with me since I have very sensitive eyes and blinked a lot during the exams. I recommend LASIK to everyone it's really life changing ! Living a life without relying on glasses or contacts. I went in for a consultation on a Tuesday and got a quote for the LASIK. The staff of the Westminster office were very nice and took great care of me. I felt extremely comfortable in their hands. I believe one of the staff her name was Karen she did the AR check for me and she was extremely awesome. Then followed by the actual eye checkup from the Dr. Nguyen. Dr. Hearn and Dr. Josie explained to me the process of the LASIK and what I should do to prepare myself before the surgery. I also go my eyes dilated to see the health of my eyes which was very healthy. Friday Surgery day I went to the city of industry, I filled out a few papers and got called up to examine my eyes some more. I was brought to another room with extremely comfy chairs and Steven was explaining the procedure pre and post of the surgery. What we should take and the eye drops and what not. Then Dr. Lin would check up with each patient right before the surgery. In the office with Dr. Lin he went over a few procedure of the LASIK promising it won't cause blindness and went to the operating right after. I believe I was only scared of seeing the actual operation because we're awake the entire time. Just seeing things stabbing towards in my eyes already made me nervous. But with the anesthesia i didn't feel anything, I saw the stick poking at my eyes but when it got close to my eyes it blurred out so I couldn't really see when it would touch my eyes. That made me feel less nervous. Oscar was in the room with Dr. Lin he held my hand during the important part which was very nice and Dr. Lin talked through the entire session. I felt super confident in Dr. Lin and I finished the eye procedure in less than 10 minutes. It was surprisingly quick. I went home an slept for 5 hours waking up to improved vision. Dr. Lin and his staff made me feel comfortable in my decision to get LASIK. They offer a life-time warranty and explained the unlikeliness of going blind from getting LASIK. The actual procedure was nerve-wrecking and a bit painful but I managed to get through it. The recovery was longer than expected since my eyes were inflamed so it took another few more visits the the main office and my local office to get it sorted. Ugh, not again!! The only negatives are that the main office in Rowland Heights is a quite a distance away and the wait time for check ups are sometimes long. It has been about 5 months since the procedure and I can see clearly but my eyes are dryer than they were before and it's still difficult to drive at night. Throughout the whole thing, the doctors and staff were very accommodating and warm. Shout out to Josie who was very personable and genuine. I got my Lasik's about 3 months ago. Procedure went smooth and well. Glad to say that I am the lucky bunch that was blessed with what I call, "Superman Vision". After the procedure, during my checkup, the doctor confirmed that the lasik surgery was a success, and that I have 20/15 vision, meaning I see better than 20/20. Dr. Lin is very nice and very trustworthy. As well as the staff. Christine is the person to see if you want a great deal, she is very awesome, and explains how the procedure will go about. DID it Hurt?: It's not painful, its literally just slight pressure to your eye. I've been wearing glasses and contacts for the past 22yrs and I finally got fed up with the irritation and inconvenience. So I finally had the Lasik surgery performed on both eyes by Dr. Lin and the recovery process has been fantastic! I had the consultation and follow up appointments at their Westminster office and the staff were all very professional and super helpful. Although the surgery is only conducted in the City of Industry office, everyone in both offices made sure that my surgery went smoothly from start to finish, which I appreciated. Before the procedure, Dr. Lin was available to answer any last minute questions that I had. He also talked me through the entire surgery to let me know exactly what was going to happen. The most pain I felt from the surgery was a burning sensation in my eyes after the surgery which was similar to getting shampoo or soap in the eyes. But once I got home from surgery around 4pm, I popped the sleeping pill that they provided and slept until the next day. I woke up once and I already was able to see more clearly even with the eye goggles on. It was such an amazing feeling to see clearly with my own eyes finally. The staff at the Westminster location is absolutely amazing, from front desk to surgical techs to doctors and everyone in between, absolutely amazing! They are all warm and welcoming. They also rotate through the main office in City of Industry, so don't be surprised if you see them there too! I came in for a lasik consult. They took care of me from start to finish. Dr Lin performs many different corrective procedures. The patient consultations will help you decide which is best for you. Christine was my consult person, and she's so easy to talk to, and funny, that it really put me at ease. She answered all my questions. I didn't meet Dr Lin until surgery day, but IQ has an excellent staff, with Dr Uyen Nguyen being the doctor I saw for pre op care. She's also very informative, doesn't rush the exams, and really took the time to take care of my eyes. This place does not herd you in and out like cattle. The surgical techs are skilled and efficient. I gotta say, I love the meibomian gland expression that's done to help with dry eyes. It was like scratching and itch I didn't know I had. Warning: some ppl have said it's painful, but numbing drops are used first to reduce pain. The place is clean (although the building itself has other tenants, and I dunno what they do but sometimes it smells like herbal medicines on the first floor.) The actual surgeries are done at the City of Industry office. Right before surgery, a final round of eye checks is done to make sure your eyes are still ready surgery. I had a chance to meet with Dr Lin prior to surgery. He also does not rush you, and answers any additional questions you may have. I had MicroLASIK done. Post op care and follow up visits also a great experience. It has been 2 months since my surgery, and my vision is perfect. No glare or halos at night. Remember, the length of time to fully recovery varies with each person. Give it time, and don't freak out! The follow up visits are to make sure your healing is on track! I am the fourth person I know that went to IQ Laser Vision and Dr Lin, with me being the most recent. The others have reported no complications as well.
