I'd heard that Del Sushi was replaced with Iro, but I didn't try it until today. I was very impressed with the quickness and service of the staff. Though like other reviewers, I was unsure about the freshness of the sushi coming out from the display case, I can confirm that the rolls I received (Tempura Temptation) were fresh and super tasty. Another benefit of having the sushi come ready-made is how quick it is! I was in and out of the store within a minute. I also appreciate the attentiveness and care of the staff. I took quite a long time ordering, but they remained patient with me and gave me helpful recommendations. I'll be sure to return to this place when I get another sushi craving. Also, make sure to try the seaweed soup! For some reason, it isn't on the in-store menu (or maybe I didn't see it), but one of the employees recommended it to me after I asked whether they had miso (they don't). Had to yell to get someone to come out to provide sauces. She tried to charge for any sauces which is weird after we spent $45 for 2 to eat. i've never had the sushi but i go here every so often for the desserts and they're so good! they have a really good variety of cake slices, big cookies, macarons, puddings, and probably more. i've had the cookies, cakes, and macarons but i think the macarons r my favorite, they r so buttery and good! the owner is so nice and sweet as well i always feel good when i buy from here :)) read more

I am unfortunately very disappointed. My friends and I used to come here all the time when it was still del sushi. Since it changed, service and quality has gone down tremendously. We still loved this place and continued to give it a chance despite how much it had changed. Last week when we had gone, we were just looking for a quick snack. We ordered two tuna crispy rice and a salmon nigiri. The last few times that I have been, I usually ask for an extra spicy mayo, and the lady said that it was 25 cents, so I started to add an extra sauce to my order to make things easier. As we are waiting, the lady comes out and says who ordered the extra sauce, I said me, and she said you don't need it, it already comes with it. Very odd to say when I literally paid for it, but ok. She eventually brings out our food, I check the bag to see if there are chopsticks, there wasn't, so I ask for some. She then says I don't need them and pulls out a fork, which I then say nevermind, but she gives it to me anyways. My friend who ordered the crispy rice asks for soy sauce, and again says we do not need it. My other friend who ordered the nigiri asked for soy sauce, and she said 25 cents. So we left because I have never heard of a place charging 25 cents for soy sauce especially for something like nigiri. Any other place I have been to has been very generous when it comes to that, so we were just confused. So we start sitting and eating, and we ultimately decided to just give her 25 cents for the soy sauce. We wait inside, and another couple comes in and she immediately helps them before us. They online ordered and asked if the soy sauce and everything else was in there, and then she said yup, everything is in there! A completely different tone and attitude. She turns to us and still charges us after not doing the same to the other people. We were just really confused what we did to warrant this attitude. We have been such loyal customers, continuing to come back, bringing new people. I don't know if she was upset we didn't order a full roll, but we simply weren't hungry enough for one. Also, asking for sauces and being judged by saying you don't need them, when people can have personal preferences and like more sauce is incredibly jarring and weird. It's not that we are too stingy or cheap to pay 25 cents for a sauce, it's just kind of odd that soy sauce is an extra charge and also possibly being denied for it too. Despite all of this, I decided to come back a few days later. This time I ordered a roll to escape the possible scrutiny I would face if I didn't. I ended up getting a rainbow roll. When I got it, I immediately was put off by the way the fish looked, especially the tuna. It was very dull looking and some parts were very grey. I didn't want to go back and say anything because I knew the possible response I would get back, so I just decided to not eat the tuna. The salmon looked a little weird, but I still decided to eat it. A few hours later, my stomach hurt so much and I was on the verge of throwing up. I'm really sad to be writing this because I really loved this place, but it really has gone down hill since the rebranding. read more

I really want to like this place, but, once again, very disappointed with the service. Food was good; however, customer service was just about the worst that I have experienced. I ordered 2 rolls and a drink. The order came with 2 packets of soy sauce. I went back and asked for more and the woman at the counter wanted to charge me .25 a pack. Ridiculous. Another woman behind me got her order to go and asked for an additional fork. The woman worker questioned her and made her explain why she needed another fork and finally caved in and gave it to her. I used to come to the sushi restaurant (Delsushi) that was here at least a couple times a week before they sold it. I was hoping this place was equally good. This is the third time I've been here and they struck out again. From my previous experience, I even brought my own utensils and sauce cup today so I didn't need to ask for more than I needed to. I give up. Will not be returning here anymore. There are plenty of other places to go to for sushi. read more

The sushi had a weird chemical flavor, especially the inari. The fish did not seem fresh and the rice was dry. The inari is sort of misleading because they picture two on the menu, it seems overpriced. I really wanted to like this place, but sadly it just missed the mark for me and my wife. It's got great marketing, a nice, clean and simple storefront and easy-to-read menu, but I felt somewhat deceived ultimately by the pricing. When you order an inari or a roll, you have to order them as pairs, which is fine. However, the price on their menu only reflects the price for a single inari or a single half-roll (as opposed to the price for the pair). So at first the prices look quite reasonable, but in reality the price they show you on the menu is only 50% of what you're going to actually pay. I feel like the menu should explicitly tell you the actual final pre-tax price of whatever you are required to order (and I feel like the menu should tell you that you have to order in pairs as well). On top of that, we were served whatever food was already in the display case and our order wasn't freshly made as far as we could tell. The quality of the food was fine, but definitely not worth the price (I would say the sushi quality was about as good as tokyo central's premade sushi). The service was solid for a to-go place, as we went the day before the grand opening and everyone in the store seemed primed to advertise the restaurant. Given the price of this place and the middling quality, I don't think we'll be back. read more
