Been here several times with my wife most recently. If you swing by during off peak hours (after 1pm weekdays) there's basically no wait. Each time we've visited there seems to be new staff whom are always very attentive and supportive! The food comes out incredibly fast and the relaxing/calm vibes easily help retain new customers. We've ordered delivery from Eats Sushi several times and used to really enjoy it, but unfortunately the quality has declined during our last two orders. This most recent order was especially disappointing. We ordered toro, which should be buttery and tender, but instead it was hard and tough - almost like it had been sitting too long or wasn't properly prepared. It honestly makes me wonder if the quality of the fish being used for delivery orders isn't the same as what is served to dine-in customers. I hope that's not the case, but the difference in quality has been noticeable. We want to support this restaurant because we've had good experiences in the past, but after two disappointing delivery orders, we're hesitant to order again. Takeout Order Review - I was PMS craving sushi and decided to order from Eat's! Ordering online is super easy and convenient. When I picked up my food, I was greeted and welcomed in. They were so nice and communicative about the order status. I had a few minutes until my order was ready, so I took a looksie around. The inside and outside are both clean and decorated beautifully. We tried this spot on Wednesday around 5 and got seated quickly. By 6:30 the entire spot was packed. There's both sushi bar and booth seating indoors. Love their serving size of 4 pieces per roll. Really good sushi! Came here during lunch time on a weekend and was seated immediately. I love how they have physical menus with pictures to look at. We write the items we want on the piece of paper that they provide. We ordered various items such as seaweed salad, takoyaki, sashimi, rolls, etc. They gave us real wasabi for our sashimi which was nice. The sashimi was a thick cut and super delicious. Also, you need to be within 5 mi-radius to get on the waitlist. However, once you made past all that challenges, and are seated, the goodness will come. I like the service here, fast, efficient, and no nonsense. I like how their rolls are shorter/smaller, and cheaper, so you won't get too full if you order too many rolls, though we always ended up ordering too much anyway. I also like their tempura, udon, salmon and yellow tail kama (cheek), and takoyaki. I love all their no-rice rolls, hand rolls, and anything with salmon. There is a reason this place has a wait list that shuts down because it's filled up so early. You have extremely reasonable prices for fresh fish that is incredibly high quality and carefully plated. It's also not a very large space for how popular it is. Located in an unassuming area, I almost thought I got the directions wrong. We went fairly early so could avoid the long wait even though the wait list was closed. Every single thing I had was amazing from the uni, to the fatty tuna, sashimi, nigiri etc it all just melted in my mouth. They even had things like monk fish liver which you don't see as often. The baked green muscles were unlike any I have had at other spot, they also had other seafood in the sauce they topped it with and they were cut in half so it was easy to eat them. Perfectly cooked too. Shoshito peppers were even done in way that was addictive. If I'm ever back in town this place is a must to visit again. The service was fast and attentive, great options on the menu, and amazing quality with prices you don't see these days with how bad inflation has gotten. Fish was fresh and delicious, no wait for a table at lunchtime and they didn't rush us out. Service was flag down as needed after you order. We tried three rolls 4 pieces each roll and then decided three more were needed so waves them down for more. The space is nicer than you'd expect in a strip mall. The music was a little loud the acoustics in there are a bit spartan for sound absorption so if you are there to chat and are sitting by a speaker prepare to lean in. All the fish was amazing. We have been coming to Eat's Sushi since 2022 merely because of their high Yelp and Google ratings and haven't sought out any other place since discovering them. IYKYK! Have we tried other places? Of course - and always regretted doing so lol - now it's just Eat's Sushi every time! I attached 3 photos from this particular visit on Friday night, 5.22.26, and wrote a short blurb for each photo to explain why Eat's is hands down, the best place and usually the place of choice we go to at least 3x a month! They are always busy and that never bothers us because everyone else knows this is the place to go for fresh fish, amazing service, and friendly staff! We have figured out how to join their wait list without waiting their usual 30-60+ min wait. Even if we have to wait, we will. It's worth it every time! On this particular visit, Leo sat us down and Evelyn was our server. All of them are wonderful and these two elevated our visit yet once again! It is the main reason I wanted to post this because they deserve accolades. Leo already had our usual "hot water" order waiting for us at the table and Evelyn is always patient with us when we place several small orders because we like to keep the fish fresh. It's called "tsuika de onegaishimasu" if you care to know haha . The owner was also there that evening, and we witnessed him supporting his team quietly and gratefully by helping collect empty dishes off occupied tables to take them to the kitchen himself. His humble leadership explains why Eat's is on point with their customer service ! Price is extremely reasonable, quality is exceptional, and for us, we love the cozy ambiance! How have I not heard of this place before!? I usually steer clear of non-AYCE sushi places, but this will most definitely be added to my top restaurants. As with most non-AYCE sushi, it was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. My absolute favorite dish we ordered was the monkfish liver, which exploded with flavor! I came here with a friend on 5/11 around 6pm. We only had to wait about 5 mins until we got seated. We ordered the cucumber salad, bluefin tuna sushi, scallops sushi, eel sushi, salmon carpaccio, scallop carpaccio, crispy rice with spicy tuna, spicy tuna handroll, and the scallop handroll. Everything was soo good just like how I remembered it. The sushi and sashimi prices did increase but that was expected since my last visit 3 years ago. The menu is huge so we ordered a mix of nigiri and rolls. Some of the items we liked were the toro, jumbo scallop, sweet shrimp, and the pepper salmon. For rolls we tried the dragon, caliente, and fire island which tasted pretty much how you'd expect. I'll be honest, the meal reminded me a lot of an all you can eat sushi spot. For the price the quality is decent, nothing particularly special, but good enough to satisfy the craving.
