I had a very disappointing experience at Iron Age. When our water was brought to the table, it was extremely cloudy and had visible guck floating in the cup, which was honestly very off-putting. I brought it to the manager's attention, expecting it to be taken seriously, but he simply said he would "look into it" and walked away. There was no real apology, no effort to replace it in a reassuring way, and no attempt to make the situation right--no help with the bill or any kind of customer service recovery. Clean drinking water should be the bare minimum at any restaurant. The lack of concern from management made the situation even worse. We always have an amazing experience at Iron Age Annandale! They have an enormous selection of all you can eat meats and sides. We ordered Hawaiian bulgogi, beef brisket, soy chicken, garlic pork steak, soy steak, shrimp, and soy chicken. They were all great! We also got steamed egg, salad, spicy rice cakes, japchae, rice, pickled veggies, and corn cheese. All food is high quality and excellent taste! The service was ok, but they imposed a 1.5 hour time limit on our visit. Even though we paid almost $45 per person. Iron Age charges a 20% automatic tip on groups of 6 or more. We went last week and we were very please with our server, Jorge. This is my go-to korean bbq, i absolutely love everything about korean bbq !! the best time to go to this location is definitely on a week day or if you do go on the weekend go for lunch! they get very very busy friday, saturday & sunday night with a wait time of more than a hour ! the only downside is you can't call ahead or get on the waitlist online! Your experience really does depend on the server! It is on the pricey side but it's because it's all you can eat! there is a dining limit!!! but it is definitely enough time if your server is on top of things! I've been coming here for many many years, and I'll always come back because they're are open later than other places. There are absolutely so many other better spots. The quality has gone down and they are super weird when it comes to what meats I can order at what order. I get the whole pan thing but also, it wasn't a thing before. They are super slow. It's almost like they are overwhelmed all the time but doing nothing at the same time. They also rush you which is extremely annoying. I do like their sauces and side options. They have a cool beer tower and a good selection of drinks. This is now the best location for Iron Age. Their meat quality is very good and my past few visits have all been excellent. The sauces are the best out of any KBBQ spot. The service is just okay, but I've come to expect bad service when eating at most KBBQ spots. Servers need to be more attentive and more friendly. They always start with two phrases " Have you been here before?" or "What do you want?" and not always in that order. Just not a good look. Wear masks before you arrive until you are seated; you will be responsible for cooking your food and have a time limit of 1.5 hours to dine. This place does not offer reservations, no calling ahead. First come, first served. You will be placed on a list and will receive a text message when your table is ready. Your whole party must be present when you receive the text, or you will not be seated. The parking is limited and busy here because across the street has a Korean bakery and up the street from Iron Age is another bubble tea shop. So when you arrive you'll be driving around quite a bit to find parking. It gets crazy busy at night and weekends. Next let's take about the food and menu! The menu has a lot to offer!
