Spicy Beef Bulgogi and Pork Belly

I had high hopes when dining here since I heard good things about it. When arriving, there's a parking lot, which is convenient. There was almost no wait with no reservation on a Sunday, but there's still a good amount of people dining, so that was nice. At first, service was good, but only in the beginning. We didn't receive rice, but I thought was part of the sides. I didn't mind. The spicy bulgogi was good and the other meats as well. I was a little concerned when the raw meats were slapped on and splashed a bit. We only received a few plates of meat since the service got slower. We felt like we didn't get enough food for the price. We also told the waiters we chose the options that are $29.99, but was overcharged for the $34.99. I didn't realize until I left, but it is what it is. My fault for not checking the receipt. We did feel rushed towards the end also. Glad to experience the place at least once, but I feel there are other places that are more worth it.

This place is a loud zoo and it is so much fun. Family took us here for a post Thanksgiving Thanksgiving. Fabulous. They knew to go early. Tables way open when we got there around 5:15. By 6, all filled and 20 people waiting. The meats to be honest were a little chewy and sinewy. I did not care. The overall flavors of all the side dishes were incredible. Those whipped eggs in a broth. Those cucumbers. The kimchi. The salad. Oh my. Best of all of it. The glass noodles. And the meats, if a tad chewy, were yummy. Take small bites. It can be fun to eat in a circus with those you love. I loved our Black Friday dining experience. Go Honey Pig!

    Devoured lunch!

We had another great visit to Honey Pig, after craving Korean for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a Thursday and not busy, so service was easy and friendly, and as always the welcoming environment and tvs showing Korean music videos were a nice distraction.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food (we had beef and octopus, and regular bulgogi, and bibimbap) was fresh and tasty. The banchan were also good and if we had wanted more, could have had more. We were full though so ate our meals and took a little extra bibimbap home for later. For drinks, we had taro bubble tea which was well crafted and refreshing. A great experience again!

This is quite the place. If memory serves me correctly, this is a new location, as they had this somewhere else in Annandale. Korean foods are among my favorites. Here you'll find the best pork bellies. Also the beef brisket is delicious. Your doctor might not approve, but since I stayed at a Holiday Inn, my prescription says it's a go! The foods here are quite tasty. How's the service? Very good. This is a busy place, but the staff delivers. They work very hard, but are polite and friendly. This is a great place to try numerous Korean foods. Even the most picky eater, will find something they like. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean spot and try them out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Devoured KBBQ, surprisingly I've never been here and I've gone to all the other ones in the area. Celebrated a friends birthday and definitely had our fill. Choose from option A or B, definitely favorite meats were the galbi and the ribs. Service was great, lots of side dishes.

Beef Rib Meat, Pork Belly, Bulgogi (Korean Beef)

Came here for lunch around 12:30 on Memorial Day and they weren't too crowded. Food was excellent, the beef rib meat, pork belly, and bulgogi were tasty and cooked right at the table so it doesn't get any fresher. It came with a side of grilled sprout that I also enjoyed along with kimchi, bamboo and a couple other sides along with sticky rice. We also had an order of the steamed pork dumplings and enjoyed those. Portions are fairly large with 3 meats being enough for four folks. Everything is grilled fresh at the grill so you grab what you want from your total order rather than having your own meal. Service was friendly but I did notice they didn't offer water refills so I think you have to ask. You can split your total bill on separate checks but pay close attention so you don't accidentally way overpay (the suggested amount for tip includes the total amount not the split amount). They also have Korean pop videos playing in the background so if that's your thing you'll get an added bonus. Total was around $100 for three meats, dumplings and sides so it's not super cheap but it's worth the money. I'll come back here again for some Korean BBQ.

Do they sell the grill? Can't find it online.

Are you asking do they sell their own grills? Cuz i found a bunch of different kinds that are basically the same

I heard they recently switched to an AYCE menu, is this true?

I don't believe that is true. I was there last week and the menu was the same. I did not see any AYCE options.

    Do they have halal meat?

I doubt it. Most Korean restaurants don't have halal meat.

We ordered a spread: gyoza with sweet and spicy sauce, kimchi pancakes, fried shrimp, soy garlic wings, takoyaki, LA galbi, and jjampong with noodles... plus way too many drinks. We arrived early and scored prime seats by the bar, which turned out to be perfect, especially once the night shifted into more of a club vibe with a DJ. The energy was great, and most of the food was surprisingly delicious -- everything hit except the jjampong. We were expecting udon noodles, but it came with thin, clear noodles instead, and the flavor was a bit off for us. That said, the staff handled everything perfectly, and it didn't take away from the rest of the experience. Between the food, drinks, and nightlife atmosphere, we had an awesome time and will definitely be back. If you're looking for a spot that delivers on both taste and fun without compromise, this is it.

I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I think people should be aware before visiting…read more JMT has a clean environment and is usually a fun place to watch games. Unfortunately, I have not had a good service experience here. I visited a couple of times during the World Cup because of their advertised drink specials, and both visits ended with us being overcharged. When we questioned it, the staff gave what felt like the same rehearsed explanation each time. Before ordering, we specifically confirmed with our server that they were running the $5 rail drink special. By definition, a rail (or well) drink is made with the house liquor and a standard mixer. At JMT, however, you'll be charged extra for every little addition without anyone telling you beforehand. A splash of cranberry juice or tonic water resulted in additional charges that were never mentioned by either the server or the bartenders. On top of that, a 25% gratuity was automatically added despite our server being largely inattentive. Throughout the night, we repeatedly had to get up and ask for things ourselves, and not everyone at our table even received a cup for water. To make matters worse, both their menu and website clearly state that automatic gratuity applies to parties of 8 or more, yet our party of 6 was automatically charged 25%. When we brought these concerns to our server, he spoke with the manager, whose response was simply, "That's how we do things here." He explained that he wasn't familiar with the drinks because the bartenders determine the charges, and that it would be difficult to void and reprocess the bill. We were also told that they always add 25% gratuity for parties of 6 and that, in their view, a rail is simply a shot rather than a mixed well drink. Those explanations directly contradict both common industry terminology and the information advertised on their own menu and website. I understand that restaurants and bars get busy, and mistakes happen. What was disappointing was being told that they've been operating this way for a long time instead of acknowledging the inconsistencies or updating their advertised policies. That reflects poor management more than an isolated mistake. It doesn't feel good to invite friends somewhere only to have everyone end up paying more than expected because the advertised specials and gratuity policies don't match what is actually charged. I can't say how often this happens, but after experiencing it on multiple visits, I'd strongly recommend reviewing your bill carefully before paying.
