This place is pretty incredible. For $32, you have a professional barbecuer cook any meat of your choice to your heart's delight. There are like 20 choices of meats ranging from chickens, pork, and beef dishes that are all creatively marinated and very tasty. In true Korean fashion, there are free side dishes as well: rice cake, japchae, kimchi. It was all so delicious. Isabella, my server, was attentive and super friendly. She did a lot of the barbecuing for me - what a pro! I felt this place was really good value for money and so I was thrilled with the experience. I brought some work to dinner and so it was nice to have someone do my Korean barbecuing for me while I focused on work! I really hope I get her next time as well. My favorite meat was the soy pork steak. The Hawaiian bulgogi was also a treat. I can't wait to come back!

We had a great experience her. From resting us to serving us everyone was so nice and attentive. Everything was delicious! We got all of the sides. Brisket and steak are our go tos. The shrimp and squid were good. The bulgogi was too sweet for my taste because it's marinated in a sauce. Overall a great fulfilling meal.

Great place for a group outing. Don't miss out on the brisket, they were so good, of all the order I got I didn't have a single picture because I was too busy eating. Good quality meat and seafood, banchan was balanced. The only problem encountered was the fire kept going out due to the way the blower is designed, but the staff was on top of it. It does take the full enjoyment out of it because you have to pause once in a while to wait for it to be relit. Excellent soju cocktails too. The pitcher is pretty deceptively large. All in all a really good place to hangout. Will be back.

It was date night and my guy has been wanting to bring me here for some time because he loves the one in Sandy Springs. The place was PACKED!!! We waited for a table for about an hour considering they told us 45 minutes and when it went past the time, they ended up sitting another party in our seat because "they called ahead". So apparently they have reservations. I will say I call BS because we saw the man I believe to be the owner sat down to talk to them and have a conversation like they knew each other already. Anywhoo... The place is nice and has a great atmosphere; lots of birthday celebrations, even an impromptu marriage proposal happened so this is a great multipurpose spot. Warning: When crowded, the place gets a little noisy so you'll have to speak loudly or sit close to your people/party. They had KPop playing on the screens and speakers which was a nice little addition to the vibe since it was laid back tunes, along with some TVs showing various sports games. Though the bar was full as well, we got our drinks fairly quickly as we waited to be seated and they were delicious and definitely not watered down. The bar has a full and I do mean FULL selection so you won't be disappointed in that department. The food was great! My spicy chicken was everything and then some! I mean the Kimchi was divine, and don't get us started on the Japanese noodles because the flavor was unmatched. The first round we got the Spicy Chicken and my guy ordered the Iron Age Beef, and they were both tasty with rice, vegetables, noodles, and Kimchi. The second round we ordered the Soy Chicken which was pretty good and was even better with the assortment of sauces they provided. And the third round, my guy ordered Shrimp, which FYI, comes whole, meaning legs, eyes, and antennae in the shell and all lol Definitely not for those with a severe seafood/shellfish allergy. Note: my guy wanted to order the Brisket, but not only was he full, but that has to be cooked on a different type of grill meaning they'd have to switch out our grill and it couldn't be cooked with anything else ie chicken. I truly want to give this place 4.5 stars despite the treatment from the owner which I found sketchy and not a coincidence BUT overall the food, the price of amount of food we had, the vibe, everything was great. Even the bathroom was clean, except for the men's, my guy said it was disgusting in there lol We will definitely be going back.

This is just a plate of raw chicken, but it turned into a nice shredded pile of yummy chicken

Brought a friend here yesterday because she had never had Korean barbecue and Iron Age has a pretty good reputation from my side of town so we went here for lunch... Kind of a late lunch at 2:30. It's all booths and all the fire pits have downdraft, so there's no smoke, not sure if it's a full bar, but I got a beer and we scanned the menu and decided on beef, chicken and shrimp kimchi cabbage peppers, rice, and a whole lot of dipping sauces. Our waitress was fantastic and on the ball got the meat on forest and then we watched it some and then took each entrée one at a time. Cooking them talking and eating well things are going on the whole time. Great flavors and what do you expect in the Korean BBQ in the price points were actually quite good even though it was all you can eat. We only got one portion of proteins and we were stuffed! We really enjoyed it and had a good time and the place was relatively crowded and the location was in a nice area so if you're in the mood for Korean barbecue, I highly recommend coming here. The service and quality of food or exactly what I wanted and we really enjoyed it.

Still, I really liked the vibe of the restaurant, and all that they had to offer, so we decided to try again. Well, again, we ordered the Galbijjim...and this time, there wasn't a Regular or Spicy like last time. We also ordered a small size of Seafood Pancake. Well...Gotta be frank. This time, the Galbijjim was TOO mild. In fact, it even had this brown watery soup base (which I don't remember was a thing with Galbijjim??). WOW. Just can't seem to find the right balance here. Quite disappointing because we both were knocked over by just how AMAZING it was in the original Duluth location. Unfortunately, the Galbijjim at this location is just not the same. It's either too hot-spicy...or too mild (and soupy?!?). Also, the portion is WAY smaller...almost too small. If you look at the hot pot, it barely fills the bowl (?!?). Too mild...too soupy...and too skimpy. So again, we were quite disappointed. We agreed that if we're to have Galbijjim, we'll be going to the Duluth location over this one. Two Strikes, and OUT for me! Their side dishes were good...but again, I felt that the Duluth location offers a much more spirited variety of sides as well. Not sure why this is the case? I found this surprising as well...given how high the ratings were here?? Luckily, there was something we were impressed with...and that was their Seafood Pancake. It was MUCH crunchier than how I remembered it in the past...and both my husband and I agreed that this was THE best version we've had to date! We regretted not ordering the large size of this...as we enjoyed this more than the Galbijjim! It's so unfortunate that I'm still not able to upgrade the review to 5 stars...especially given how I love the vibe of this restaurant! Service is quite good too. But their Galbijjim continues to disappoint...so must dock another star. Maybe if I/we revisit, I'll order something else from their menu...and hopefully, it'll be better than their version of Galbijjim???

I happen to be shopping in Alpharetta and I had seen a TikTok review about his place so I decided to try it out. This establishment specializes in chicken. Everything is Korean chicken. I had the chicken sandwich with fries. This thing was huge. There is no way anyone is going to be able to bite down into the entire sandwich at once. I had to break it up into 2 pieces. It has this special sauce and grated pickles. It was so good. The bun was soft and the chicken was crispy. This was the kind of sandwich that would knock Popeyes chicken sandwich out of this atmosphere !!! The place was clean. It was quite a few people enjoying their lunch when I arrived. I was able to get a parking space directly in front of the restaurant and parking is free. You can't miss it and you don't want to miss it.

Someone brings you the food, but you put up your plates and stuff at the end of your meal. They also have a station for you to grab your own to-go containers and bags. The first thing to be aware of is to not let any of the photos fool you! The portions are very generous. Many people around me ended up taking to-go boxes (myself included). I got the Kang Nam chicken, the half-sized tteokbokki, and the kimchi fried rice. The chicken was crispy and tender, and the white sauce with onion was incredibly delicious. The kimchi fried rice was also very flavorful as well. The spices balance very well together. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the regular tteokbokki. It wasn't bad per se, but it also wasn't good either. I think there are better places to get tteokbokki, but no worries, their focus and strength here is obviously in their fried chicken. I would come again and would recommend this place to other people.

The sauces are a real highlight, especially the gochujang-based one, which was absolutely phenomenal. They're generous with the sauce, too, which adds even more flavor to an already well-executed dish. That said, it's hard to ignore the price point. This is easily the most expensive Korean fried chicken spot I've been to. While the quality justifies the cost to an extent, it's still a noticeable jump from other similar places. And while the chicken is very good, it's not necessarily the best in Atlanta--though it's definitely in the top tier. Another thing that stood out was the lack of lower-cost or smaller portion options. There were only half and whole birds available, with no quarter bird or sandwich options, which makes it difficult for someone looking for a more affordable or lighter meal. It feels like they're missing an opportunity to appeal to a broader lunch crowd. In short: it's pricey, but you're getting high-quality, expertly prepared Korean fried chicken. Just be prepared to spend a bit more--and maybe come hungry.
