Oliver and John kept promising that the transport was on point and then...after several correspondences 3,nights before pick up they call me the next evening, after all of their reassurances they told me that someone would be there to pick up my car but the fee had to go up to $850. Are you crazy? They asked me to consider what is going on in the world and understand their position. Then they had the audacity to tell me that if I cancel my reservation they were gonna keep my deposit as their reservation fee. They not once provided me with a contract nor did they explain their terms and conditions. All agreements were via text and emails. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I HAVE THE EMAILS AND TEXT MESSAGES PROVING THAT THEY BREECHED THEIR AGREEMENT. I WILL BE PURSUING FURTHER ACTION IN A DIFFERENT ARENA. THEY WERE PROBABLY GOING TO HOLD MY CAR HOSTAGE BY INFLATING THE COST UPON DELIVERY. THEY CAME HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BUT THEY ARE NOT NOT NOT HONEST AND USE SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES. They sent this as well: I do not want to bother you anymore, market is getting fire and everyone is suffering from fuel problem, if you can remove the negative i will promise you will get refunded by the end of the day ! Then on top of that they called me saying wrong number. HARASSMENT. They should have done the right thing.They never offered me a full refund. That is all I asked from them. They promised a refund by the close of business and they have failed to do so. Do not trust them. They are continuing with the lies about them offering me a full refund of the deposit immediately. Had they have done that we may not have been there. The so called manager was rude a belligerent. When requested a refund he refused. Here is the text messsge they sent me when I asked for my refund: We are cancelling the order according to your request and we will keep the reservation as a cancellation fee. I never requested to cancel. They said that because I was refusing to honor the inflated fee they were going to cancel my reservation. This was my response I did not request cancellation you change the price. I am not confirming anything and again refrain from contacting me.. As you can see this company is not reputable. Issues were threefold: - Eric basically represented and used a facility that does its own direct auto transport. When questioned (because they were cheaper) he highlighted his business as better due to a number of factors. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line.
