We brought my senior mom and her car in after a mysterious heating mishap, and Adrian spontaneously put down what he was doing to come out and clarify, demo, and reassure her about what turned out not to be a mechanical issue and more of a learning issue for her on how to use her modern car. He was so experienced and understanding. Someone else could have taken advantage of her, but he advised us NOT to waste our money on unnecessary services--so he saved us money, time, and worry. He made sure my mom felt comfortable with her car and that she left feeling more educated about it. One of the best experiences I've ever had at a mechanic. Due to covid, I haven't really driven my car too much and when I went to start the car for the first time, of course it didn't start. Went to get a replacement battery under warranty and it appears like my car still wouldn't start. I thought it was a deeper routed issue, like an alternator/regulator fix so I called the shop and Adrian suggested that I bring the car in. After around 5-10 minutes of inspection, Adrian realized that it was a loose terminal and some corrosion. He went ahead and adjusted it for me, tightened the screw, and check the voltage all in under 10 minutes for safety measures. Adrian charged no cost and I was out within 15 minutes. I'm rarely ever compelled to leave a review for a service, but this business deserves it. I had a freak tire accident where an industrial nail essentially punctured my tire and flattened it immediately. I called John from Irvine Auto Care to see if he had availability for me early on in the morning and although they were booked, considering my situation he was willing to take me in. I dropped off the car for them and John was very honest with me from the very beginning, he said that their business wouldn't be able to patch the tire considering how bad it looked, so he walked me over to Just Tires which is right next door and asked if they could take care of that for me. I had also asked John to look into some of the other issues plaguing my Jeep and he said he would look into it and fix it after the tire gets replaced. Sure enough, he took care of all the issues and he hooked it up. You rarely find businesses like this where they are completely honest and transparent with you. I could not recommend this business enough. You've got yourself a loyal customer from now on, I would not go anywhere else for my car from now on. read more

Went to this shop early in the morning to get my car fixed. They checked my car out and they redirected me to another shop who could do a better and more efficient job. Definitely appreciated that they took the time to really examine my car and make sure I get the proper treatment and was considerate of my time. I had a flat tire on a Sunday due to a nail in my tire. The next day Monday morning I was worried about driving on a spare to work even though my commute is less than 5 miles. I called Irvine auto care and let them know about my situation. I was able to get an appointment the same day at 2pm. I arrived at 2 and was out a little before 3pm. Great, quick service and I was told I needed a transmission fluid flush as well but I scheduled that at a different service area but if I didn't have a place I normally go to I would get it done here. The only thing I would change is add a waiting area but the entire strip "auto mall" area is small some places have waiting areas and some don't. Other than that good place to go to in a pinch and in an emergency. read more

I really trust my 4Runner here; I made an appointment during the quarantine because my brakes needed replaced, and they were able to replace my brakes easily and reasonably priced. I actually have to get my horn replaced which costs a few hundred dollars...ouch, but this place actually gave me a less expensive option. Great service again!!! My daughter called John and asked for his guidance regarding repairing her current old model car or purchasing another 2nd hand car. Very good service. They tell you what's wrong with your vehicle. You make the decision to fix it or not. They respect your choice or get it fixed. I'm from out of town and had car, no air-conditioner. Called around in the Irvine area on a Friday. No one available until Tuesday because of the CA fires and heat wave. I called Chapman, they knew my name, which I found amusing, and the fixed my car. And it wasn't a in and out job. They told me 2 other things that was a issue and I got all three things done. I decided to try Irvine Auto Care after reading their positive and glowing reviews. When I arrived to the shop, I saw how John was so attentive to a customer he was speaking with and that he offered to help in her car's sale that was at his shop. When he got to me he was very detailed on what services would be performed and offered the quote for them. He kept in constant touch with me on some of the services and updated me with any differences there would be. At pickup, Adrian walked me through all of the services performed and reviewed with me any suggested and recommended services. He explained why and when the additional services should be performed and how critical they were. After the horrors at other auto shops, it was a relief to deal with a honest shop. This place is amazing. I walked in with no appointment even though I know these places mostly require appts. I really just wanted to get a quote for a nail in my tire to be repaired. They quoted me a very reasonable price and I decided OK let's do it assuming I would have to make an appointment for another day. He said Monday is his busiest day but he understands that my tire needs to be repaired as soon as possible and he said he would squeeze me in between appointments and he had it done within 30 minutes and he was very professional and very friendly. John is who I spoke with and he's great! I'll def be coming back to this place. They even have this new system where they text you a video of everything that they're doing to your car and they send it to you and you can either approve or deny but seeing your car and seeing what they're doing is the coolest thing ever. read more

They are amazing! We brought in our old car to be evaluated and have some minor repairs (door locks, etc...). They gave a us a video detailing exactly what needed to be fixed and what they would recommend. It felt very fair and honest (didn't recommend new brakes / tires even though we mentioned we thought it might need them). We then were texted estimates to approve the repairs. Wonderful service! Thank you irvine auto care for fixing my truck. I have a 20 yr old truck that would not start l. I google near by auto shop and found Irvine auto care. I called and ask to see if I can schedule an appointment. The guy that answered the phone was able to fit me in. To my surprise all I needed was a new battery and a battery terminal all for under $200 dollars. Great price and great service. I am so glad I found this shop. This place is literally the best when it comes to getting my car fixed. It's so hard to find a good mechanic who won't lie to you just so you can get something done. They're so honest here. I came in to get my brakes done, and after inspecting my car, they told me that they actually still have some time left in them. They even did a full inspection of my car without an additional fee.
