Irvine BMW is the best place to buy a BMW and we know because we are very picky and went to 10 of them. The rest were not even close to good. The prices here are fair and you are treated well. They had the color I wanted, which is not that easy to fine--It is plum. It is a Hybrid and so far we have had no problems. The parking there is easy and of course free. The interior has a lot of cars in it and it is so clean and the area for the sellers to deal with you is nice and somewhat comfortable. The outside is also kept spotless. My one complaint is our salesman who I know has left there, did not listen when he told me how many mats there were for this car. When I got it home a mat was missing and I called right away and he said "Oh, that mat is not included." Well, that is not what he told me and he and I counted them, out loud. I don't play. He then did not return my calls and we had to go to the manager who said he would look into it and did, and I got my promised mat. Had I not this review would be quite different. The manager is very nice and knows when a customer is right. I was there most of the day to test drive and look and talk. My other issue is they have a "genius BMW" guy would is supposed to teach you how to use all the features on the car. He was not good. He could not connect my phone, get my music and I told him to slow down and he just wanted to be done and go home. I will have to hire someone to teach me how to use my car. But all in all they are the best in town, their selection is better than anyone else and so are their prices. read more

The service check in process here is usually smooth and fairly quick, which I appreciate. However, once your car is no longer under warranty, the prices become very expensive. I really want this review to be better, and I genuinely hope to come back with a more positive update soon but as of now, BMW of Irvine has been quite disappointing. My lease is coming to an end, and I'm looking around, trying to get an idea for what to go for next. This dealership is the closest BMW location to where I live, so naturally I started here. I've been here three times. Why three? Because I have not been helped still and each visit somehow managed to get worse. The first two visits were almost identical. I walked in, browsed the showroom, waited around... and waited some more. The receptionist said that someone will be with me shortly, but it never happened. The place felt clearly understaffed, and after standing around awkwardly long enough, I left both times. The third visit is what finally triggered this review. This time, someone actually came out and greeted me. He asked how he could help, and I explained that I'm researching, I would like to see a few models and the interiors. Within less than a minute, after learning that I will not be buying a car today, his attitude completely changed. Suddenly, he "had another appointment," walked me over to the front desk, and dumped me there. End of interaction. That alone felt completely humiliating . On top of it , every showroom car was locked. I couldn't sit in anything, couldn't get a feel for interiors, couldn't even open a door. What exactly am I supposed to research? The cars are locked and no staff around to help. I'm out of here. So far this is easily some of the worst dealership customer service I've experienced. read more

I recall getting into a small disagreement on something basic when I was shopping for a car some 15 or so years ago, and left with a bit of a bad taste. I purchased a 2026 BMW 5 Series with an MSRP of around $61,000 and made a down payment of over $5,000. However, when I reviewed my contract at home, the total payoff amount was about $72,000, which was far higher than expected. The pricing and financing terms were not clearly explained during the purchase process. I was also told my credit score was not strong, even though I believe it is decent, and I feel this may have been used to justify higher costs. Overall, I felt misled and that the deal lacked transparency. The purchase experience with Irvine BMW has been absolutely terrific. I began by dealing with sales manager Johnny, who was friendly and helpful and not "salesy" at all. While I've been waiting, I've been working with Armon, who is the "concierge" for new owners. We've done a long test drive where he's demonstrated a lot of the different features my car will have. Shout out to the Genius' Brandon and Matthew! - I called to inquire why my mobile would not connect to my BMW M440 after 4 years, it just stopped working. I spoke to Brandon and Matthew at 5:50pm yesterday and they asked if I could come into the dealership to see about the issue. Mind you the sales "Genius'" went off the clock at 6:00pm. Brandon and Matthew assured me they would wait for me to get there, which they did. They worked on the mobile connection issue until they fixed it at 6:30. I've Been taking my BMW to the dealer since I bought it for oil changes and maintenance. I want to ensure the best care for my Bimmer and took advantage of the 3 year unlimited oil change special. The service was excellent at first. The multi-point inspection gave peace of mind and I knew the job would be done right. As time passed on I noticed the inspections missing major issues with the car that weren't checked or conveyed. The attitudes of the service techs seem to change when you deny their highly overpriced rates ($770 to replace just the brake pads I replaced a year ago. The service has definitely declined. Which brings us to today. I signed up for service on their web site under the military discount section on their service specials page. When dropping off the car, I confirmed with the service manager that the military discount was applied. When picking up the car, I was charged $2 below the oil change price advertised on the web site. It wasn't a special, it was the price for an oil change. When I spoke to the service manager, I was given the usual car dealer excuses. "We have to be competitive and can't discount, only for larger jobs." The manager kept treating the veteran's discount like a coupon and I informed him that it is a gratitude for service to the country, not a discount. Then he tried to claim that the oil change was a coupon price. Funny because it's listed on the web site it's listed at $119, no mention of discount. Why offer the discount if you're not going to honor it?! Don't pretend to support vets, if you're going to double talk your way out of it. Shame on you Irvine BMW. Unless you're spending exorbitant amounts of money here, they don't seem to be interested in providing the level of service that one would expect from BMW. I would suggest heading to Crevier or one of the other dealers. I haven't seemed to have these problems there. read more

Brought my M5 to Irvine BMW for service and thankfully was paired with Kristie Endicott (through the BMW app); in retrospect, I'm sooo glad I was assigned Kristie as the car required some major motor work and she worked so diligently with my third party extended warranty company to reduce my out of pocket expense, i.e., she truly was my advocate! Not only did Kristie communicate with me every step of the way, her genuine care for her clients was apparent. One normally does NOT look forward to bringing their car in for service but that was definitely not the case with Kristie as I genuinely enjoyed my conversations with her as she has a rare blend of customer service skills with the ability to get sh!t done. She was also able to get me into a loaner for the entire duration of the service work (2+ months) and I finally got my car back yesterday. Kristie even got my car completely detailed - on them - before I picked it up as she knew I took great care of my M5; she is simply THE BEST service counselor out there, bar none! I brought my BMW in for a service visit to have the dealership recheck their work from six months earlier on a radiator fluid leak. They replaced parts at that time, and I expected a straightforward follow-up to ensure the issue was resolved and there were no fault issues. What happened: I received an error message while driving, and I requested BMW recheck their prior work to confirm the repair was solid, up to spec, and free of fault issues. I was charged a diagnostic fee of $285, which, in my opinion, is absurd, given the fact that I just had parts replaced prior and would at least expect them to warranty their work. When I asked for a discount on that fee, the response I received was no; they had already discounted it from $570. This was not the case, as the advisor informed me the diagnostic rate was $285. So the inflated $570 was merely smoking mirrors. The messaging around pricing and discounts was inconsistent and not transparently communicated. Lastly, they recommended I get a coolant flush during the service, but I was told that was done the first time when they replaced my hoses. Sounds like another opportunity to unnecessarily upcharge. Bottom line: I do not recommend this dealer. Their pricing is all over the board, they don't warranty or are not willing to at least check their work, and the messaging is inconsistent and unclear. If you're car shopping or servicing in this area, I would strongly recommend Crevier BMW over Irvine BMW. If you've had a similar experience, consider sharing your story to help others make an informed decision. read more

I have to echo the same sentiments as the 1 star reviews with Service concerns. I brought my vehicle to Irvine BMW yesterday for a minor issue. This has happened on 2 different occasions where I have to say NO several times to insisting excessive service purchases for my vehicle after bringing it in for something minor. If I come in with a scratch, they'll insist that the whole side of the car needs replacement! The advisors need to learn to SUGGEST or simply RECOMMEND without giving a doomsday prediction that my car will fail if I drive it off the lot without their recommendations! And keep in mind on both occasions, my cars have been less than 3 years old!! I have had a 35 year relationship with every BMW imaginable and back when the cars had extended service packages, customer service was impeccable! But now, there is very little attention to detail, a severe push for service purchases without discounts and customer service has declined drastically. After yesterday, my affair with BMW ends! My car will be traded in and whatever service needs to be done in the meantime will not be at Irvine BMW. For the money, too many other Luxury brands can get it right! read more
