He was super flexible in letting us test drive it home to ensure it fit in the garage and letting us remove the roof panels so that we could test drive it with the panels removed. Upon checking in my Ford Escape for service with Mr. De La Vega, I informed him I had recently completed a tune-up at another repair shop and informed him I had replaced the spark plugs with boots, and the cabin filter. After a Tuttle-Click mechanics inspection, I was informed I had a defective electronic throttle, the initial problem and it should be replaced, as well as a new set of spark plugs and a cabin filter for an additional cost of $515.88. This does not include the throttle which was $913.99! I refused the spark plug/cabin filter repairs and upon my cars release took it back to the other repair shop and they showed me on a scope there was NO problems with the plugs or cabin filter! On the original work order, Mr. De La Vega had instructions to inspect and advise the spark plugs! I've trusted Tuttle-Click since 2015 but now, I'm wondering how many other repairs I've paid for that I didn't need? It's a matter of trust isn't it! As of now I will go to another repair shop and can only hope their honest!!! read more

Customer service nightmare. I tried to schedule an appointment to return my lease. I did lease from a different dealership, but did get service over the course of my lease from Tuttle, so not like I had no relationship with the dealer. Ford Credit and Motor Company confirmed I can return it to any authorized Ford dealership. When I talked to Brandon the lease manager about this policy, he said they reject it citing a "full lot". I told him that Ford even said I can just drive up and hand it in without an appointment, and he said if I did that, then he can "term my car and affect my credit score"--what ever that means. Sounds like predatory financial threats. I am just trying to return a lease according to the Ford's terms. He was rude on the phone, said I should not fight him and go to another dealership, and hung up the phone abruptly. I filed a formal complaint with Ford Motor Company and the California Financial Protection and Innovation department for this credit report threat. Other high end dealers like Galpin Ford are running circles around these amateurs with high quality customer services, competitive prices, even has a nice restaurant too while you buy or lease. I'm sure some of the other local OC Ford dealerships wouldn't treat a customer like this, especially one who may lease or buy another Ford in the future. I would pick another dealership, unless you want high prices and poor customer service threatening your credit score when they don't agree with you. Edited to the reply to the response. Flash forward to today: My Service visit today reminded me why I appreciate Sean and his team more than ever. Not only was my car picked up from home and repaired right the first time, it was also washed and dropped back to my house too. But even more importantly our connections by Phone were so easy. Sean knows me and knows my preferences and how I think about my truck, so he can anticipate what my concerns are. And his team has great follow through, and does great work. Seans same customer service culture from back in the day now reflects in all of the people that work for him too. He takes time to get to know customers and teaches his people to deliver that same personal touch. Thats why Ive also sent my friends there for service. His crew are the only ones I trust to work on my truck. I trust them because they follow through and are honest and fair. Not the experience I was hoping for when I stopped in for a test drive of the Bronco Sport. A month prior I was at the Orange County car show and Ford had a big set up of the Bronco Sports. I spent a good amount of time checking them out and the Ford representative apologized that they did not bring any to the show to test drive. Instead she gave me a "coupon" where Ford will pay me $50 to go to any dealer for a test drive. Now, I am always busy and $50 is not going to get me into a dealer unless I am really interested in the vehicle. Took me a month to get some time on Weds afternoon at 2 pm to stop in here. The reason I came to this dealership is: 1. It was in Orange County, 2. It was right next to I-5 so I could test the Bronco out on the highway, 3. I was close by at 2 pm on a Weds when it's not busy at the dealership, 4. They showed an inventory of Bronco Sports on their website., 5. YELP reviews were mainly positive. I was dressed in a white shirt, tie, dress pants and shoes when I stopped in. Entering the showroom, there were no other customers and 3 salesmen and a sales manager. One salesman came running right up to me and when I told him I was here for a Ford Bronco Sport test drive he directed to me the manager who offered to sign off on it so I can get my $50 without a test drive. I told him that I was seriously interested in the Bronco from the auto show but wanted a comprehensive test drive--I am not here for the $$. Manager looks over at the salesman and says, "You want to take him for a drive?" Salesman says, "Then I have to find a key for one." Salesman says I need to make a copy of your driver's license. He makes a copy and I ask both of them together if they will shred that copy of my license when we are done? No response from either. We get into a Bronco Sport and as soon as we drive off the lot, the salesman says we can only go a block because the Bronco has has no gas at all in it. I look at the gauge it is flashing "empty." I ask the salesman how come there is no gas in this brand new vehicle with 10 miles on it? He says, "that's not my responsibility." I tell the salesman that I was hoping to do a test drive on the highway which is next to the dealership of both this 1.5L engine model and the 2.0 L liter model to check acceleration and handling--you can't learn much on side streets. Salesman responds, "Today, a salesman's wife is going to have a baby so we are short 1 salesman and I need to be in the showroom, not testing driving." I tell the salesman again: I came here to test drive the Bronco Sport on the highway in particular because there were no Ford test drives at the show. Salesman says, let me see if I can find another one with gas. We head out in the 2nd brand new Bronco Sport--this one has a little more gas, 1/8 tank about to go on empty. We get on the highway entrance, and before I am able to get it up to highway speed and on the highway, salesman says exit here we have to go back. Salesman explains again that, "we have a salesman whose is out because his wife just had a baby and I need to get to the showroom." We get back into the showroom, and there are still no customers, and 2 salesman sitting alone at desks and the sales manager working at the computer. There was a Bronco Sport 2L on the showroom floor I just sat in alone and was checking it out for about 20 minutes. During that time I observed that there were still no other customers on the showroom floor. 3 salesman either on the phone or walking around and the sales manager on the computer. Next, both the sales manager and salesman start telling me about the Bronco Sports they have in inventory ready for immediate sale or ones they can "dealer trade" from another dealer. But I never got a proper test drive of the Bronco Sport! The main reason I stopped in to the dealership. IMHO there was something not right here. There was a total disconnect between the customer and people working here. They are on their own program disconnected from the customer it seems. I will tell you that I enjoyed chatting with the Sales Manager--he is originally from back East where I grew up. He just did not want to do test drives it seems or this dealership does not like test drives or they don't like FORD sending customers in for test drives? The salesman they gave me--I could not wait to get away from this guy--his Bronco Sport knowledge was mediocre, I could not understand some of things he was saying, and he was generally not pleasant--he is the stereotypical car salesman I never want to do business with. Wish I could have wrote a better report on my experience here--was hoping for a better result. read more

Bought used car and they were not honest about its condition. We asked if all the needed maintenance had been done, and everything was in working order. They said yes. But this was not true. 1 week after taking it home the power system broke and battery died. The battery was very old and had been sitting on the lot. Tuttle said "Too bad, you bought a car 'as is' ". But they never said this and no where on ANY of the documents are the words "as is". So they would not fix the broken power issue, we had to pay for it. We went to have the oil changed and according to the VIN no maintenance service had ever been done at all. So, we ended up spending a fortune doing the needed maintenance as it was way past due the mileage marker like transmission oil, fluid, brakes, radiator, and power steering. If you're buying a used car from this place be sure to dig deep or you'll fork out $1000s after you get it home. read more
