    Cabbage/pork dumplings. Handmade here. $5.99/10.

Craving boba, but got sucked into the food pictures of home style Taiwanese cooking - what can I say I miss my childhood dumplings and cong you bing. Boba was BOGO, but not cheap at 3.75$/large $3.25/regular. Nothing special, milk tea was meh. The cook ad owner were chatting in the back and i asked if they made their "zah jiang" sauce and dumplings themselves (bc so many places buy from other stores), he said yes, he makes both himself. Dumplings I got were surprisingly good. Better than most places with dumpling on the menu :)Zah jiang noodles were more traditional than most places (i prefer chinese style over korean style) , not as good my grandpa made them but who are we kidding, his ish was legendary in my eyes. I'd come back if i was in the area , but not for the boba.

    Good stuff !!

Good service, average food. Stinky tofu was great! pork chop rice just ok, rice was under cooked. Drinks are ok. Will go back one more time to try again.

I came here since it was right next to the my family's dentist and we were craving for something to drink. The big BUY 1 GET 1 Tapioca Milk Tea sign caught my attention as soon I entered the plaza. I was greeted by a nice lady and quickly received my order in a few minutes. The deal is good but the boba milk tea is only ok. Overall, I give this place three stars for its outstanding customer service although the drinks aren't all that great.

I got the regular boba milk tea and the boba was good but the tea is lacking something. The staff friendly and we came here because it was in the same shopping plaza that we had some stuff to get done. They have a buy one get one free deal. So for 4 people we paid only $6.50.

idc whatever u say u have to visit this place. they don't rlly have boba and stuff anymore but their beef noodle soup is literally heaven. also the service is great and it's a small business but pls pls pls support it this place is the absolute best and it's so underrated woah the frozen dumplings are also a must. it's so good i'm shook come here for some quality chinese food and also try em buns their rlly good too lol i just love this place sm

This place is a hidden gem. Their buns, dumplings, beef Noodle soup and especially the spicy wontons are bomb! Everything is handmade. Highly recommended.

Sometimes, you really have to wander around to see life after pandemic again. Streets and shops feel more empty and different inside these days. The outside of Pacific Plaza still looks fantastic as you drive past it. Korean food/Chinese foods/Vietnamese Pho/local small offices/etc. There's bakery & Japanese tea/beverage place across from the parking lot as well as a huge Chinese grocery store. Saw security guard driving around and walking around. Plenty of parking spots during weekday lunch hours. The food court is old and doesn't look as exciting anymore, but honestly, they have traditional dumplings and small eats inside. Authentic old Chinese style. You will find elderly ladies still hand making foods from scratch. Feels old, but good. There's good variety of foods on the same block. Inexpensive and still affordable around here. Much lesser customers during the daytime. Otherwise, I would revisit to try the Chinese-Korean tofu stew place on corner. Lots of choices to choose from. Building looks great from outside.

I did not know it is in the same plaza as the Happy Family vegetarian restaurant. I had eaten at the latter place a few times, but it's been awhile. Anyway, things have changed. There are so many different shops and restaurants here. There is even a food court which I have yet to visit and try. One day I'll make it back here and check out the food court. This plaza has 2 floors. I didn't go up to the 2nd floor since TBK is on the 1st floor. Its building exterior design looks like a fort or castle like. There is ample free parking so no worries. It is located on Colima Rd that is a very busy street. Do be careful when pulling out of the parking lot. It may be best to turn right and take a detour instead of turning left just to be safe. As I said, I will be back to check out its food court. See you here!

The amount of food that you get is worth it. The taste of the sides are also great. They offer so much variety from meats to veggie options. The ladies who take your order is always happy to help, but I think that some may find them a bit unwelcoming if you don't speak the language. This place hasn't changed one bit. They are one of the longest standing restaurants in the area and have somehow managed to keep both their prices and their hearts generous even through inflation. A 3-item combo with rice and soup for around $10 is an incredible deal these days and the portions never disappoint. What makes this place so special though, is the people. For as long as I can remember, it has been the same kind lady and gentleman running the restaurant and they always greet everyone with care. I started coming here over 15 years ago as a young, single working adult and meals are ready made here (although you are able to order other items from the kitchen) so grabbing a meal was quick and easy and now that I am a mom of two, I still bring my kids in because the staff feels like family. They've literally watched me grow up and that kind of connection is rare. The food is comforting, consistent, and tastes like home. There are a handful of small tables for dining in and they also have frozen delicacies such as dumplings that you can buy in bulk to cook at home. Overall, every visit feels familiar in the best way possible. In a world where so many places change or disappear, Shau Mei remains a constant and stable place and we are truly thankful!
