The wings here are so good! Huge, well cooked, nicely sauced, and delicious. They have much bigger wings than most the chain wing places around here. We also have tried the fries which are great! The fried Mac and cheese, which is delicious. Some of the best fried Mac and cheese I've tried. Fried pickles and fried mushrooms, both of which are also top notch. The food is a bit more expensive than the chain places but worth it. They have tons of sauce options too. Our favorite so far is Honey Stinging Garlic. read more

I Wingz used to be the go-to for my flavored wings, especially General Tso's. The max and cheese? Phenomenal, but the breadcrumbs weren't toasted, but that's okay, they gave us containers we could pop in the oven at home to broil. Now, however, the regular max and cheese costs the same but you get a fourth the portion and in a plastic container so it isn't oven safe. The nuggets are also half the size (it sure feels like it anyway) but the price is the same. Look, flavor? I Wingz has it covered. I came here after hearing recommendation of their wings. I to go an order of 24 pieces traditional wings in 3 diff flavors: Nashville hot, Smokey bbq, and honey stinging garlics. Also an order of lobster Mac n cheese with cheez-it. Nashville hot (3.5/5) it tasted like Buffalo flavored almost, slightly heat. Smokey bbq (3.3/5) tasted more like a hickory sweet than smoked. Honey stinging garlic (3/5) more on the sweet side. Lots of Honey, couldn't taste the garlic at all. The sauces were good but kinda on the bland side. All the chicken had bigger pieces than your normal wings shop. Chicken was soggy even though I asked for extra crispy... What I enjoyed was the Mac and cheese. It was a good Mac and cheese. Not much flavors as I'd like. There was hardly any real pieces of lobsters, mostly used intimation crabs. Went here for lunch and I thought it was so cute they have an arcade attached to it so i think that is so fun for hanging out with friends or your kids. We ordered the fried Mac, wings, chicken sandwhich, fried mushrooms and waffle fries. The wings were so big to our surprise! The flavors was also good, really surprise they have korean flavors as well. The chicken sandwhich was very juicy and the fried sides were also delicious. Only thing that was not so great was the fried Mac n cheese was cold in the center. The girl running the front wasn't helpful with questions on flavors or things on the menu so I have no clue what taste like what, but I guess it's fun to have guessing game of flavor? Is the new cashier with the big hoops and blonde hair okay?? I have not met a more defensive human in a looooong time. I had an online order, showed up, waited in line. She looked at me but said no words - not a "I'll be with you in a second" or even a "Hey welcome in," none of that. But I'm not old (or old fashioned) so I didn't really care. I explained I had an online order, she told me I should have just looked at the shelf of online orders. Okay, fair, but I'm unsure why her voice got condescending when she said it. She asked my name, I told her, she handed me an order. I thought my order had a drink, the order she handed me didn't, but what do I know? So I took the bag of food and walked outside. As I'm walking to my car, she runs out after me to clarify the name on the bag. Sure enough, she had handed me someone else's food. She then proceeded to act like it was my fault all along - "You shouldn't take the wrong bag. If you ordered online, you should take the bag with your rightful name on it." Right again, but I'm less inclined to inspect an order if it was just handed to me by someone who worked there with full confidence that it was my order. She should have just accepted responsibility for her mistake and moved on without getting defensive like that. She put the order back on the shelf, and I sat down to wait. While I'm waiting, I overheard she messed up another customer's order, this time she overcharged someone for their food AND input the order wrong. The customer is annoyed, another coworker came over to help Blonde Hair fix that order. Finally, my order is ready, but iWingz has never been known for being fast so I can't blame the wait. I made sure the name on the bag was right before driving home. Only when I got home, the order inside the bag was wrong: only 1 sauce we asked for (out of 4) and the chicken wings were bone-in, not the boneless bites. As a manager, I would be upset because this mistake - whether it be the kitchen's or whomever's - is an expensive one! Bone-in are more expensive than the boneless and now we've wasted food; who knows how many times a day/week this happens. I called the store to let them know I wanted my proper order, the woman on the phone seemed hell-bent on learning the flavor of the wrong wings - I'm not sure, but in retrospect, I could have taken a bite out of all of them to find it. She drops it and tells me she'll have the kitchen make the right food. No apology, though. I threw away the bone-in wings because no one in my house would eat them. I got in my car to drive back and I'm halfway there from my house when I got a phone call from the restaurant telling me they want me to bring back fr wrong wings! I'm even more annoyed now because I have to turn around, get the wings from the trash, and then drive back AGAIN just to get the right order. There was not a single kitchen I worked in prior to the pandemic that asked for food back because you can't serve it again anyway, and now it might have been handled by someone with covid, which would just be another reason not to want the food back. And if it's just to prove I'm not lying for extra free food, believe me, I would not return to the storefront almost two hours after I placed the original order just to get the right food. I was tired and obviously hungry two hours prior. But I got them the wings from the trash and drove back over there, extremely annoyed. When I got inside it wasn't busy at all so I stood by the kitchen and put down the trash wings on the counter. Blonde Hair is helping another customer but I'm not concerned, I'm waiting off to the side. She stops mid-transaction to ask me, "what's going on with this?" So I explained, "This is the wrong order. I pulled them out of the trash for you, because whoever I called asked me to do that." She gets extremely defensive again, almost yelling, saying, "I don't know what's going on with that! I didn't have anything to do with that!" Which like yeah, okay, but you asked. So I told you. Usually asking questions gets them answered. Another worker came from the back and inspected the trash wings, then gave me my right order. Still, no apology, everyone acting like this is my fault. Everyone else who works here is lucky the online order form asks for a tip when you place the order because this was such an ordeal, I wish I hadn't tipped at all. read more

first things first, the food. top notch, top quality chicken. i'm more of a boneless wing kinda guy and got the boneless wing combo 16 pc. i've been to places like buffalo wild wings. and lemme say. their wings are awful. probably frozen. the wings at iwingz taste fresh. and have phenomenal flavors. i tried the nashville hot and tabasco chipotle and level 1. all solid flavors. i also had cajun tots which were bomb. you can also pay to play your favorite song at the jukebox. lastly, the customer service. my server susan, gave excellent customer service. so great that she came over to my table to make sure i was doing alright and asked how the food was, and gave me a couple extra sides of ketchup when i said i was running low. kristy also gave wonderful customer service and asked if i wanted a to go box :) iwingz has wonderful employees. read more

My friend let me know of a spot that makes mac and cheese with your choice of add-ons. Me having a troubling addiction to mac and cheese I immediately was intrigued and aw so curious! I was told by my friend that the mac was a bit on the bland side and that something was needed to make it right... his answer was garlic salt. So with a baggie of garlic salt we headed to I Wingz. I was accompanied by my son and decided we would share a large. So we chose to add chicken and finish it off with bread crumbs instead of their default cheez its. The portion was hefty and plenty for two people. I tried it before the garlic salt, and it was a bit bland on saltiness. We then added the garlic salt and it was just right. In the end I would say the portions are right, the only thing I would say is that the price of $3 for an add-on and then .50 cents for bread crumbs is a bit too much to charge. We ordered the boneless nuggets, and large Mac and cheese with hot cheatos. I was not expecting any of what we ordered to be what we got, especially after the experiences we've had in Salem otherwise. Even walking into the place, it was clean, neat, organized and did not smell like old fryer oil. The boneless wings were so tender, with the perfect amount of batter, making each sauce we ordered on the side even better. We had their Boom Boom, Kicken Bourbon, Buffalo, and Nashville Hot sauces, and pretty sure either each of them were made from scratch, or this place has a bunch of signature sauces. There were probably 15 more options for sauce, and I imagine the others being equally delicious. The Mac and cheese was perfect with the cheese sauce being smooth, and creamy covering each noodle as it should. There were a lot of options for toppings and we opted to add hot cheetos which were crumbled on top, along with cheezits which were outstanding. We will go back, there is a full bar, and we have faith the remaining g items on the menu we haven't tried yet, are going to quickly become more of our favorite. read more

Went here on an early Sunday evening with the daughter. reasonably busy for Salem on a Sunday. Place was clean and tables spaced well for the virus. All employees wearing masks correctly..not as a chin guard Its an order at the counter place..they cook the wings fresh so the wait is medium. Not a place if you have a 30 minute lunch. That's OK i sat down with a pint of RPM and chatted. I ordered the 16 pc boneless..taking half home for lunch on Monday. Daughter ordered the 3 pc chicken tenders with waffle fries. Have to say the boneless wings are more like large nuggets but the chicken seems to be good quality breast meat and the flavors and batter were excellent. Visited for the first time today. Ordered online which was quick and easy. Picked up and everything was delicious. Ordered the three chicken strip combo and paid for the upcharge for a flavored lemonade and ordered a customized mac and cheese. The chicken strips were everything you want in a strip, moist, tender, crunchy and well seasoned. The mac and cheese was creamy and it was a big portion. Iwingz messed up my order yesterday. I immediately called to let them know. They said they would take my name and the next time I came in, it would be $10 off my next order. Even though the item they messed up cost more than $10, that is what I agreed to. I went back today to order the meal and. the manager tells me she is only willing to give me $5 off OR condiments iINSTEAD of the $10 they promised because she wasn't there when it happened. Walked in and stood at the counter for about 10 minutes before anyone noticed with one woman walking past me several times while she was in a hurry, though there was almost no one there. When another lady came out of the back she unenthusiastically asked if I had been helped, which I said I hadn't. Just finished wolfing down our first order from iWingz and, even though we were 45" late getting it home and it had cooled a bit, we had our socks knocked off! It's been a very long time since we've tried a new eatery that was so successful in surprising and satisfying us in every way. We ordered a large macaroni and cheese with bacon, small french fries, a medium boneless order of chicken and 2 orders of 10 wings with various sauces. A couple of small extras were missing from our order such as the Cheez-Itz on top of Mac-N-Cheese and celery and carrots with blue cheese but the food itself was so outstanding all is forgiven. The place is clean, sleek, well designed and will be lovely for eat-in when the virus is under control. In the meantime we appreciate their attention to infection-control safety guidelines and it gives the impression they are careful and precise in attention to all safety guidelines re: food service. There is also an outside eating area that is tented. We will be picking up food from iWingz weekly and order using their easy online site. They send you updates when the food is ready, too. The fries were the best we've had in years even reheated in the toaster oven. We decided the Mac-N-Cheese was the best we've ever had. And the wings? OMG. read more
