Food-"I only waited 5 minutes" for my meal! "It was already prepared"! And it showed. The owner suggested the pork bellies as apposed to the plain pork, because he said they have more flavor. The meat had very little flavor!, and the meat was tuff. It was stale. The sauce over powered the flavor of the meat. Lots and lots of sauce!! I'm sorry to be so blunt but, the kimchi was bad. There were 4 or 5 kinds. I've had good Korean food in California. -Not trying to be a snob-, but jeeez. You expect kimchi to be spicy...some flavor, at the very least. You call what I ate Bulgogi! I didn't know they made it with pork. So I tried it; mistake. I could have had a feast a Taco Bell for that price lol. Didn't give one star because the guy was really nice. I had to give this review "to be honest". You guys are a business. Each customer should be just important as the next. I may have gotten a bad meal. Maybe not all are like that. But I'm saying, you can't expect to serve "ready made meals" that have allegedly been sitting for hours in the pot. Then expect your customers to pay full price. When I pay restaurant prices, I expect for a restaurant to cook up the meal, not to be a fast food experience. I paid almost $25 for that meal and it was no more than a fast food entrée. And it was stale.

If I could give this place 1000/10 stars I would. I'm from Orange County California where there's…read moreAMAZING Korean food and let me tell you that this place was such a special find. The food is made with incredibly authentic intention. They serve purple rice, and make all their own banchan. The banchan was so so good - the kimchi alone was the perfect spicy and fermented. Truly well done. I ordered the mackerel and the spicy tofu soup - extra spicy. The fish was IMMACULATE. Perfect sauce with onions and radish to accompany it and served over crunchy cabbage. This fish was a highlight of the entire meal. Spicy tofu soup is highly rated in my book and I am very particular with this soil and this place nailed it. Lastly I have to shout out the service. Such a wonderful service with Brandy and her brother in law Caden serving me up like I was in their living room. It felt so cozy and like home away from home eating here. Can't recommend this place enough. I wish I was staying in town longer so that I could go back again!!

I came here on a weekend and there was quite a long wait, given how popular this place is. It took about 45 minutes to get my food. On first glace, it did not appear to be an authentic Korean food just looking at it from outside, but I would say that my opinion changed when I got my food. Ambiance-wise, it is lively and busy and there is not much to talk about in terms of the decor and what the inside of the restaurant looks like. I will have to say that parking is tricky given that both peripheral roads to this place are one-way, so getting in can be tricky unless you make long loops, so just be aware of that, especially on the weekend when there is not much parking in front of the restaurant. Service is friendly but a little bit slower I ordered a Beef Gimbap and a Beef Bulgogi which came out to around $45 before tipping. This place is definitely ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. Now on to the food, the best part! The Beef Gimbap was decent, but not the best I've had. It was peculiar getting purple rice, but I was not against it. It was just....different. As for the Beef Bulgogi, it was also pretty decent. It was not too sweet, and was seasoned and cooked well. The banchan was not the best I've had, but also was enjoyable. Overall, I would say this place is very similar to many authentic Korean places I have been to, and is a place I recommend visiting. However, I don't think this is among the top Korean places I have visited.

I decided to order the Pork Katsu curry with rice which came out to ~$20ish. The spice level was pretty mild, but the flavour was spot-on. It was cooked well, seasoned well, was not oversalted, and the balance of the dish was impeccable. The rice went great with the dish, as it should. Definitely not Coco's Curry, or anything you would expect to get in Japan, and no add-ons or anything special, so you cannot just add cutlets or potatoes like you normally would be able to at a Japanese Curry place. But this was obviously a ramen place so as long as the dish tastes good, there is nothing to complain about...which is exactly what I experienced. Service was very friendly, and ambiance was just what you would expect. I cannot comment on the ramen or any of the other dishes, but definitely endorse their Pork Katsu curry with rice if you are in the mood for a Japanese-style curry.

My husband and I ordered Spicy King Ramen and shared the kaarage chicken. The kaarage chicken came with a homemade Japanese mayo dipping sauce. The kaarage chicken was better than the ramen. The spicy king ramen was just that, spicy but no depth in flavor. There wasn't many toppings, green onions, ginger and eggs. I wish there was bamboo, bean sprouts, extra garlic, black garlic oil, veggies, etc. i wouldn't order the spicy king ramen again.
