We came for some light fare before a show at the Collectivo Back Room. The music was a little loud for an Sunday evening adventure, but maybe I am too old. The beer selection was good, and our server was very attentive. There was a long wait for the food, and it wasn't overly busy. The low point for me was when I bit into my Italian beef sandwich, and chomped on a twist tie. My husband's shrimp won tons were pretty good, but a little too creamy. My friend enjoyed her slider trio. Sorry Izzy Hops - there are too many fine establishments on the East Side. I don't think I will be back any time soon. read more

The prices here are excellent and you really cannot beat the mimosa deal! $23 for 3 bottles of champagne?! It's perfect for a group of people looking to brunch and catch up. I had the breakfast sandwich and a side of cheese curds and very much enjoyed my food although it was average in regards to other brunch places. We took some out of town friends to brunch here last weekend. What a treat to have a great brunch place that takes reservations on the East Side!! Also - BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS AND BLOODY MARY'S. What more could you ask for? We were seated in the back room, which is a sunny, warm enclosed patio. They accommodated us right away and the service was friendly and fast. I ordered the quiche, my husband ordered the chicken parm sandwich, my son had the boneless chicken tenders, and our friends ordered the breakfast burger and breakfast burrito. My quiche was piping hot and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals - even my super picky son. My out of town friends thought the Bloody Mary with all the fixings was heaven! We sat for a long time and enjoyed the ambiance and the bottomless drinks. Our server was attentive but also gave us time to just be together and not feel rushed. She did a great job. Burger was ok. Got there at 7 on a Wednesday and there were some people there but we were the only ones that had ordered food. Burger was warm, not hot, and it benefited from adding salt. Lots of TVs all over tuned to a college sports channel. Bingo started at 8 which drew more people. read more

I love this place. I grew up in MKE but I don't live here now. Every time I come back I come here. I either get a flight or like one beer. We're always here for brunch. The mimosas. And if you take the front table, we will best you up. That's our table. Been here for years now. Either way we love this place. It's such a great place! Love this bar!!! the interior is so unique and cozy. Fun place to bring your friends and hangout! There is also a back room that you can play darts and chill in. Just looking for a relatively inexpensive meal for dinner, and it was good. Food was good, and our server was awesome. Don't recommend the shrimp wontons, as the shrimp to cream cheese ratio was way off. Inexpensive, quick bite. First time here.... nice, clean and modern decor. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. We ordered the shrimp wontons, Italian beef sandwich and chicken parmesan sandwich. Food was good but nothing to rave about. The half of the chips were soggy. Even the crisp chips were rather bland. The Italian beef was flavorful and moist - i would order this again. The chicken breast on the parm was cooked perfectly - moist with excellent crust. I just wanted more marinara sauce. The sauce was scant; I understand this makes for a cleaner dining experience but maybe a small cup of marinara on the side?!? The marinara tasted really good - i just wanted more. Overall the food was good but not great. I am glad we tried it but am unlikely to return. read more

Wow, couldn't resist the atmosphere while walking by - glad we stopped and definitely going back. Great draft beer selection (30ish) and tasty, quality food. My wife really liked the pulled pork sliders (I tried and agree) and we both enjoyed the fried cheese curd appetizer because there was more cheese(!!) and less breading than what we usually see. I'm a sucker for Italian Beef sandwiches, random I know, but this one lived up to my lofty expectations. Really nice vibe in the joint - they must've ripped that place down to the studs and started from scratch... new and clean but with a lot character - sweet woodwork on the bar and nice lighting. Decided to try this nearby place out last night. Great craft beer selection. Would have loved to sampled some, but our server only came to our table one time for a drink order. We had the pulled pork nachos and they were good. However, someone other than our server delivered them and we ate while our glasses remained empty. Very poor service. read more

Had brunch here today. It's a recently renovated bar with exposed cream city brick, beautiful bar and generally a cool atmosphere. Interesting beer and brunch menu. We ordered the breakfast cheeseburger, breakfast burrito, and quiche. Everyone liked or loved their food. One of us did a beer flight, which was fun and the rest of us had glasses of good, cold beer.
